We obviously want to go in 850 as you guys know, as close to an 850 as we can get but not an 849. So 850 is perfect.
We want to get close to that today. so when we start S week on Monday we're already ready I like that plan I Like that plan one step ahead of the game this. Dash Yeah Dudee clean dude custom. that's nice.
5 horsepower 10 20, 30 40 like 800 horsepower. We only made a th000 of a din so I had to add another 300 ther bump test that look good and smooth 11 lbs. It's probably all we want to leave with. Really right? Yeah, all right I like it.
let's go to the track it bumped I mean I think it bumped smooth. yeah but you know like when you're on asphalt. it actually oh it was just turning the tire. Oh so Yeah, it might be really violent.
When we get to the track we'll see it didn't really move the car a whole lot. It'll see rotated the tire a little bit if it was. It's like impossible to test your bump on asphalt because just there's no no traction. but when we're on a prep surface it's going to Bow If it works, we'll see well over to the track We go. let's go run at 850 85. Yeah, that'd be good so we kind of had to guess on the tune. We went with 11 lb on the leave and basically what I think is going to be 12 lbs the entire way down cuz 850 just not real fast. No Ruby's going to cough out something faster than that.
So we're going to try and go a little slower. maybe an 890 880? I Honestly no idea what. It's easier to speed them up than it is to slow them down with these big old turbos on it. So we're going with the try to start slow, keep try cuz it's probably not going to go slow and then creep up on.

So timing, you know, can make a lot of horsepower or it can rob a lot of horsepower. We're just going to pull one degree out which should reduce horsepower quite a bit only from 5 seconds into the run on. So that's 3 and 1/2 seconds of 1 less timing than that run. See what that does? nothing changed but it getting hotter taking timing out. I Yeah I Looked at the Da at 25 ft less but that ain't enough to make that big of a change. Wow, yeah we confused. Uh, let me look at the data log.
it picked up to the 60t so it went a 128 on that one, went a 130 on the first. So what's the deal there? I Guess just the bump felt the same and all that everything was the same. Yeah I did everything the same I did I waited for it to build 11 and 1/2 on the gauge and then I bumped in and then let go the button shift it to the same spot. All right.
well let me check everything. Maybe something went haywire. Dude me man starts and it starts. show us like it had promise I was hoping you wouldn't have said that.
The only thing I can see that's different is you shifted 100 RPM later on the second one. but I mean it literally. it all picked it everything up 11.5 11.6 and for some reason it just 60 15, 6, 15.6 14.1 14 lbs on the booth. So like everything's the same. The shift was a little bit longer. so how it picked up 500 I don't know I me it picked up, it picked up. uh, one small number to 6 just reflected all the way down. SL You can see it.
It's hard to see, but you can see it pulled the timing out too. you know? So maybe I just pulled two degrees out. That, or maybe just pull earlier earlier. you can pull two, but pull two long like maybe 3 seconds on full 2 3 seconds on 2.
Like that. We were laughing after the first run. we said Ruby don't want to go back in that Barn she said I'm going to behave. Yeah, it's all right.
we're still closer than we ever thought we'd be on our first two hits. So yeah, I mean we're right there. We just got to figure out what it likes to slow it down. We pulled out 2 from 3 seconds on.

We went in 853 which is 300th away from our desired time and we shook down our girl Ruby so we know she's running great I mean talk about a successful day. What a good day Dude 130 60t 548 in the E at 131 and 853 at 16.3 Ruby 853 brother I'm cleaning up 853 right where we need to be baby.
that's I like to here no dash. the dash uh I was got on The Brak spooled up, started doing his thing and it froze, bumped in, going on with the dash yeah I bumped in and then uh Gess on my ear on shifting. so I just pull the log and see where that was at. so I know where it was at.
it sounded about the same yeah I kind of went for like the same sound like hey, you know what it was while you were on the two-step I go Ruby I'll put you back in that Barn scared and she did what she had to do. They need to add another tuning parameter: adding or removing weights to James right foot. I expect it'll be mostly removing weight as it's mostly lead from the start anyway..
