I think part of the beauty of Leroy is he was a street car, so the drag and drive events were super fun to watch at least idk how they were to film. I assume it would be really hard to make the changes to make that possible again such as cooling system and larger fuel tanks though which is fair.
With Leroy it actually looks like the car is cutting out.. it does a burn out really well I'm not sure what gear you are doing burn outs in vs launching the car… Just throwing it out that the compressor wheel and the gear ratio and or the tire size could actually be stalling the turbos out.. the things you have to look at is the turbo size, gear ratio and tire size I've never seen it happen but it was explained to me by a company who makes turbos.. worth looking into 🤷
