He toasted through the race yeah like if you look at his tire. This is brian, didn't even get a tire change, it's not even showing cords, and he just knows how to drive that thing like. How does he do that when i actually am fully i'm fully blowing tires and he's got he's cheating yeah? We need to check his tire pressures: hey. We we're going out there to test, because i don't know we'll have enough fuel to make it around bristol, because you're going to be on the throttle the whole way like the first fuel pit helicopter. We did not think that the drafting was going to start making the cars overheat never crossed our minds, but all of a sudden halfway through the race they come on the radio they're. Like guys. Some of you are overheating because you're drafting, so there's teams bump drafting people who teamed up bump drafting for 20 laps straight and some of the crown bricks were overheating. Luckily, almost all the crown dicks finished only the rex took them out.

It's absolutely incredible what these crown vics are capable of. You know they already raced the freaking 500, now they're out here going another 80 laps around 5 8 oval. It's insane not to mention the nitto tires, lasted the whole race for some drivers. I blew mine.

Brian deegan's could have gotten another 50., so i really got to be better about my tire management. You know i was leading the race, those first 20 laps when i got up there, but then i blew my front right. I just was driving like an idiot, so i got to dial in i got to win bristol. Also.

You know we topped off all the cars full of fuel before we left and some guys ran out of fuel on the last lap. Like i don't even know we guessed on the glass we just said: 80, laps, 7800, so uh we're thinking of some strategies for bristol. Let us know your ideas, because we're trying to make these races even cooler and more exciting and more fun. Today, as you guys saw, we have this ford performance godzilla engine. So if you missed that video, this is a 7.3 liter godzilla ford engine supposed to be one of the latest and greatest 1200 horsepower you can make with a stock engine. So we don't have a car to put it in, because all the other cars kind of have their own setup right now - and i know you guys are probably thinking well, you got ta finish the blazer first and leroy and you're absolutely right, but we got ta. Get parts coming, especially with this being a newer platform.

It's gon na probably take a little while so today we're gon na decide, along with you guys what car we're gon na put this engine in and also what transmission and what boost system we'd like to go with. So then, we're gon na be shoving that boost right here. One of the things i want to add on my list is finding a drive-by cable throttle body got my wires, jumped brother and then the uh, whichever one doesn't get picked, it's gon na get that box right. There we've been hoarding, we ain't going to tell you.

What's in that yet yeah, you guys can't know what's in there. I think i know the way this is going to go, but we'll go out there and show you guys yeah, you ready, they're, both white they're, both white, all right. This is your option. You got on the left fox body on the right holding you.

What are you gon na go with? This is one of the coolest cars of all time, and we already named this one, it's thunder it came named. We got this from motion raceworks, so they were going to build a burnout car out of this. It's right-hand drive. I mean this is just a all-around cool vehicle, we're missing some pieces.

Obviously, but uh. You know we'll track all that down those pieces. Yeah then, over here i have a notch back fox body mustang that i was able to purchase from doug cook. Also motion raceworks.

I guess so both of these cars kind of came from motion raceworks. But you know this is just all around one of the most commonly used drag cars in the world. Everyone calls them the metoo mustangs, but there's a reason why you see so many of them. Not only do people love them, but they are able to work really.

Well for cheap endless aftermarket support and you can get them really really light, yeah really light really like. We could make this thing race ready with the godzilla in it probably 2600 pounds or so and dude she's clean. I mean look at this factory interior small amount of rust there we're not going to worry about that she's, not too rusty. You know, aside from some surface dress, it's not that it was originally a four cylinder four lug car yep, so it has a seven five rear, which is no big deal because obviously we're going to go to a little eight, eight or nine inch.

If we use this platform but same thing with that thing, you know we're at both cars have the same bones: we're pretty much going to start with what we got from. They both got to get a cage and the whole night yeah, because those are irs like gto style, rear ends, they're not gon na work. No, that's not gon na work, nothing. What we're gon na do we're gon na pour like it doesn't have a different axles.

In it already so we're we're pretty much gon na do the same to both cars. One's not gon na, be like uh. Oh, this one's gon na be done in two weeks versus that one kind of situation, but definitely more. We want to know what you guys want to do.

We definitely just want to pick your guys brain. You know, there's more parts availability for the mustang, but that is much more unique. This will be faster in the long run, but that is more unique. We also do kind of already have a truck drag car and we know that we're going to drag race, this godzilla engine yeah, so i kind of think it'd be cool because there's not many of those godzilla motors in mustangs, yet yeah the mustang's already a proven Platform, but not with that power plant, you know there's like one or two other cars out there trying to do it, so i think it'd be kind of cool to have it in that and then create upstairs go with that thing, yeah yeah, true i i would Really like to see that godzilla motor in this mustang six speed, so you could start over on your on your side.

I know i kind of worked, slow and gradually yeah. So now we've got three auto cars in the group yeah. We need to get another one. We might as well do we might as well go stick shift.

This could be like the og leroy days, where we're going trying to go nines then eights and sevens with a stick again, which i would love that challenge. It's so fun yeah. So i'll just start over once you get there, don't get me wrong once you get to your end goal, it's great because you know you like. I built this.

It's a proven car now to start over and chase that same goal and another platform, it's just as fun yeah. So i guess. Obviously, you guys can understand that our goal is to use this godzilla engine and make it a drag car, but something that's also fun, because i used to do huge, burnouts and stuff with leroy. Imagine whatever we're gon na do in this situation, it's gon na be like the early version of leroy, where i just did burnouts and hooligan stuff, and i kind of want this to be an all-around type vehicle, not just a specific drag race, something we can drag Race burnouts in take it on race week, sick week, drive pick anything, do anything with it whatever and not just have that it's only a drag card.

Yeah yeah, like you, just wipe it down and run it down the dragon yeah. No, we want to do everything. Car, that's that's epic yeah and also not dump a fortune of money into it. The el camino is the exception.

Yeah. Let's not do that again, we'll do it. You know we can do like the budget, build style. Just take what we got get the parts we need to get it running, yep see what it does then next step on a budget next step on a budget next step on a budget till we hit our end goal, and i mean that's how it always goes.

Yeah, so the question is, for you guys: do we put the godzilla in the mustang or the ute? Do we do automatic or stick shift? The last question is: do we go turbo or supercharger? That's that's a tricky one that is i've seen some pretty impressive. Uh supercharger kits releasing for the seven threes that yeah it looks like. I just saw that stuff around facebook. There ain't nothing better than a turbo yeah.

I think long run turbo's gon na be faster, 100 yeah and i'm not doing compound boost because turbo and supercharger. I know it sounds cool it ain't gon na. Why restrict the air ain't gon na do what we want to do, but superchargers are good man. I mean look at neighbor making a thousand.

I don't i'm curious what it could do with stick shifts yeah. So maybe we do start supercharger and then go turbo. I don't know you know. If we put the you know, if we do go, blower then peek out the blower system.

Stick shift and just you know, take it off and turbo, but we're just spitballing we're gon na kind of just leave it in the comment section.
