I set a big section of our driveway on fire when I was about 10 years old. I was trying to change the carburetor mounting for 3.5 horse Briggs&Straten lawn mower engine to make a go-cart. I burned the engine and an 8' × 8' area of the backyard. My babysitter called 911, the fire department came, and that was the end of my go-cart fabrication days. I got the belt instead. 1986 was full of chicken babysitters, I was so close.
