When it does this, i mean we can take it off and make it run like the blazer yeah there you go. Do a kick flip flip over on the passenger side door.

Nice. Can we take the one that's on the elko and use it on the blazer? Oh perfect, perfect, so we'll go from a smaller anti-roll bar to a little bit bigger one for mullet. That's the one that came out. Input obviously broke, but look at that yeah, that's uh and for not having very many runs on it may have to do a little upgrading there.

We got the upgraded input now but yeah. Well, they do make a turbo 400 output output shaft for these, and if you do end up going turbo 400 in the car, turbo 400s are just tougher all around right, yeah bigger yeah a little bit bigger a little bit heavier. Well guys, as you know, mullet has a brand new set of radials on, so i went ahead and repoed toast rear wheels off the blazers. I got george's tires on it, because the dyno can actually destroy a set of good racing tires and when you're making a bunch of power, it might ruin your tire, but these will hold up fine.

Those are just a little more sensitive installing your rife air temp sensor, oh yeah, new air temp sensor and then, as you guys, will see right here. We got new big dog injectors. Those are precision, turbos injectors and those are 500 pounds per hour injectors. Those are huge, i think, they're, 553 or 550s.
That's what they say on the side of them: yeah well, they're. 550S. All i know is i hit them up. I was like i need 500 or more they're, like yeah they're big.

We got the injector for you so now we're gon na be running on straight methanol when we're going down the track, so methanol runs cooler. So you get cooler intake air temps, which was one of our issues, and then you could also run quite a bit timing on it. So we're also eventually going to change intakes yeah talk to frankenstein. They couldn't get us something in a hurry, because you know last minute, so they said to just run it in.

I had the idea of just running a spacer, but they're like. Ah, the distribution won't be good. Those guys are really smart when it comes to airflow. So they said to just leave the brick in there.

For now, it's probably a small restriction, but yeah. I forgot to tell them that guys. Look, there's no intercooler lines anymore, we're on methanol. The cooling capabilities of the fuel itself should be enough to cool the air charge, as it goes into the cylinders we're going to find that out on the dyno.

Today, probably i think methanol is like 130 octane or something crazy like it's way on up there, we'll still be running on pump gas when we're just idling around, and then the car will switch over to methanol just like how it used to do when it was On e90, oh, what do you big think guys? We were uh, given this large fish marlin and uh. We don't really know what to do with that dude. We just put it right here. Yeah like it's got mounting on the back of it.

I wasn't gon na turn it down. I mean no, someone offers you a big fish, you take it, you take it for sure everything so collector's item bigger than i thought it was gon na, be not gon na lie, or we could hang it from the by its tail from the crane on the Thing so it looks like he's: jumping okay, so guys. The theory is when i get up on the trans brake old, mullet's gon na go into methanol mode. That sound is so cool wow.

Did you hear it? No, it's still too rich on the initial transition and then it it gets through it and then it starts to get happy, but that was cool. This is good. I didn't want to flex on you too hard earlier, but i have something to tell you what this is my mom's, my mom caught this marlin, your mom caught this yeah. I was waiting for her to tell me if it was cool.

If i could tell you tell everyone in the video she's like yeah, i want people to know. I caught that fish, so my mom was getting rid of the marlin because they used to have in their house, and i was like yeah i'll. What the boosted boys make oh what'd, you make. Oh, this is the novo with the old turbo 1367.. That's the dyno record 27 pounds of boost all it had entered. Okay, kevin! You see the mission dino marlin.

All you got to do is pet. The dino marlin and it's good for 1500., we're going for. Like 10 pounds of boost or so yeah, then we're not 100 sure about all the alcohol, those big injectors. I think we sneak into it.

I agree wow, i heard it switch over yeah. It was just still a little fat on that transition. Yeah. I think we forgot to hook the anti-roll bar back up yeah yeah.

I saw it. No, it's cool, though oh my gosh look at it when it switched to methanol yeah, look, how nice and flat it is. How much boost did it make 14.? Okay? That would explain why it's over a thousand then i was like i thought we were going for 10. I was like 110 pounds so interesting.

You know i thought it might happen, but i wasn't sure, but alcohol has tightened up the ratio from dome pressure to actual boost that makes it into the engine, damn so spicy little unit, spicy movement, all right. Let's run it back. How much boost we gon na? Go from this one 50., you wan na go 25 25.. That's gon na be a big jump.

It's gon na be a pretty big jump, alright cool all right, so we're trying to clean up that transition. Oh my god holy crap, 1309 dude yeah. I definitely made some boosts on that one yeah 20 degrees or screaming huh 1309. The the lights flashed again like i think the lights are flashing.

Maybe i should ground the car better, like it's getting some kind of resonance, some kind of weird loop. I mean all the electronics are over here kind of together yeah. I didn't think they would i've never seen it do that i mean either yeah 1309, though dude yeah it burns my eyes after the run immediately so yeah methanol is working all right. Let's see still a little fat, but we got transition was still a little funky.

It's got well see that won't happen on a run because i'll already be on methanol. Once i'm on the transfer, it's on methanol the whole way all right, yeah what it mean uh. So that was 774 rpm and target dome was 30 actual boost was 18.8, so it only picked up four pounds of boost well, five pounds of boost yeah, freaking, hey, that's a huge game. Yeah i mean that's, like 50 horsepower per pound of boost.

So i guess, let's keep throwing it at it, dude see what we can do to go fast tonight. I feel it all right so that ended up being about 19 and a half pounds of boost guys we're out here checking out the car fuel dude barely went down for methanol, it's not using a lot. Well, that's the great thing about it. Only using the methanol, while it's making booze yeah only four pounds of boost were greater switches to this street.
I know i love it. Let's get like a mid 1400 rip, i'm thinking it's going to go like 15 and a half like okay. If we go another 20 pounds of dome pressure, well, let's see. Okay, all right! This thing makes so much freaking power.

Dude 283s on a 427 can't go wrong. Let it rip chip yeah! I made less power yeah, i made 120 horsepower. So here's what i'll do i'll deflate the tires? Strap it down super tight and i'll reinflate them optimum grippage that sounded sick all right, so we'll strap it really tight with the tires low and then we'll fill them back up. How much boost was that 28.6? Ah, that explains it.

That was a lot of power. You wanted 20 pounds of dome. You got 20 pounds of dough, try it again, let's try that one again and if it spins again i'll ramp the boost in instead of just knocking it down, but hopefully the extra strapping yeah the tires heating up. Let's see yeah it's almost track time, so we got to kind of wrap it up.

Yeah see what it does. The crazy thing is we're running these same boost numbers that we were running before, but with methanol we're already making more power. We haven't even touched. The timing which advancing the timing can give you so much more power, i mean sometimes the degree of timing is 40 50 horsepower.

So if you throw five degrees of timing at it, which we are more than able to do because the timing is so conservative, this thing will pick up a ton of power come on. That is one long vehicle got my bumper painted by the way. Let's go. Oh brother, 15.

15., no, that's not from the spin because they recovered from the spin and then it was hooking yeah. I felt it spin early and then i'm like. Oh it looks like upset that is so rad dude wait. So are we gon na run out of gear? Now i mean you oil, you didn't rev it out all the way, so 175 ish yeah, that's where i was making that power.

Dude 1515 horsepower. I said 15.50. I thought you said. Let's see how much boost it made, because that is disgusting.

15 15 brother 29 points when it hooks back up 29 pounds of boost 14 degrees of timing yeah. I would expect that still, i think we could easily run 18 or 19. yeah. I was going to say: actually i've never ran in alcohol.

So how much can you get? I would think that's four to six soft, but let's take it to the track, since this thing is kind of heavy. I don't want to blow it up. I mean the heavier the car is the more heat you're putting into the spark plugs and the cylinders when you're, making a longer pull a lot of power to get this thing moving. We got world cup next week, so, let's not blow it up because the timing, we need a hub dyno if we're going to go further than that which we have one on the way.
Nice well don't come hooking it up. Yeah 29.7 right at the top of the pole, beautiful dude, all right guys, new dial record's been set at 1515 horsepower. We are going to the racetrack, we'll finish it up there. Thanks for watching dupe, available, freaking, see you later thanks kevin.

    Sounds nasty! My old Iroc on NOS would wheelie on the dyno like that and scare the shit out of people standing around that had never seen the car. She was a sleeper looked like a show room stock car with slicks. Had to put a sway bar on the back
