Wow. You know what I would think though is that the head gaskets would leak along this real thin spot. The thing? there's not a ton of clean. I've got these.

They got these Cuts in here for coolant passage. Yeah, and what that allows it to do is it keeps the deck and head surface cold in between the gaskets. Yeah, so it's a natural cooling. It was actually wide.

Oh yeah, yeah, you're kind of right because this is the thick hot spot right here. How's the deck surface? is that good? Good. I actually flipped my Straight Edge on it I Had our fabricator. you know, because he's got a really good eye for tolerances.

Look good. he's dialed looked good. The craziest thing was and I pulled this thing off. You know that that noise the Dr Pepper makes when you just crack open that? Yeah, these two front head bolts literally went.

Never heard anything interesting. Yeah, the head looks great. head looks freaking phenomenal. So are we even gonna deck these? Are we gonna throw some studs in it and let it rip? torch? nothing.

but when stuff bows around. yeah. ready for you? Bob getting some methanol? Dude? Yeah, you said gas it and go or the gasket is blown. Oh yeah.

gas, it can go. Oh, we're gonna bolt it back together. These stock head bolts guys. pretty impressive.

What they did I mean a 480 in the eighth and a 780? Yeah, no, we made them. We tickled 30 on that last run. That's when it really got bad. So and keep in mind, this was the third time we used them.

Yeah, and they're a torque to yield bolts so you're supposed to only use them once. But we had used them three times and they went a 480 in the eighth and a 780 and a quarter. So did these head bolts get a little overused? Yes. But hey, we don't have too much damage to the engine and we will have some headsets here in just the next couple days.

So we gotta get McFlurry ready to go for Tx2k which is freaking two weeks now. Yep, the accident's gonna be ripping this thing. This thing's a rip around already dude. So we gotta get some headsets ordered and we'll be dialed in foreign.
