**CLEETUS and CARS! Come meet me at my event April 22nd! - https://www.facebook.com/events/24328...
It was time to figure out how much my shifter kart actually made in terms of Horsepower. We threw it on a bike dyno and put that thang to work! Had a great time and dialed that puppy in.

Who is here watching old Cleetus, because you are still watching him today? Hell yeah brother, Leeroy The Savage, still savage in 2023.

Itchy anyone? Breathing in exhaust fumes is one thing, but coating your lungs with Rockwool dust is a whole other level. What a stupid thing to do.

For a 125 shifter kart, you should have around 55 horsepower on 110. Not sure why the power is so low

Our Honda cr 125s made 39.6 hp, so, either the motor needs attention, or the algorithm in the dyno is off. A stock CR125 makes 32hp. I have 14 land speed records on 125s, 150, 180, 80 etc etc. I know these motors like the back of my hand. At the very least read your spark plug to assist in jetting. I use an air density gauge.

I'm confused, was that a Tony kart under crg stickers? And why the crappy engine? I have a Tony kart powered by a fireball 125cc, should be capable of 34hp, but my mates crg kart has an iame x30snr fitted. They can get 40hp tuned. And there's a direct drive 125cc iame engine only available in South America capable of up to 50hp. Rotax are most popular, they get about 34 too btw. Honda are crap…
Also, boasting about power is fair enough, but weight of loaded kart is more critical. My kart including me weighs less than 150kg. I'd bet those 2 are 40kg over my weight. You having gears is your advantage, my karts are single speeds but still get over 90mph. Those shifter karts can use the power better.

One thing I can promise you is it does not have a ported head Maybe a ported cylinder is kind of hard to Port a 2 strokes head. Lol
