51 We're freezing out here. Winter is officially here which means the Christmas Tree race right around the corner. So we got some new Christmas trees in the shop today. Let me show you, they're extra special.

You don't know about our annual Christmas tree race. It's December 22nd. This year we host a drag race at the end of every year where you have to have a minimum 6t tall tree Christmas tree that's lit, strapped to your drag car and we already have 35 cars I think signed up. It's a 32 car field.

We know we're going to lose a few. It basically sold out instantly. So December 22nd we're going to be racing Leroy mullet and McFlurry but they we have to mount Christmas trees on them and every year we kind of do it last minute. This year we went above and beyond.

spent about 15500 bucks on trees so we get nice Christmas trees. You know what I'm saying. Oh and the the other rule is the tree has to be lit when you go in the burnout box. A lot of things happen with drag cars power-wise so if your lights have to be off for the run, it is what it is.

But if you lose your tree during the pass which I think James might lost his tree last year I don't remember if you lose your tree during the pass dced okay got to keep your tree on I watch my dinosaur oh dinosaur blew off. oh man let me I don't want to ruin it. let me just get this up. we'll R the video all right.

Voila, there we go Dude got a fresh uh American flag tree right here Dude, you know we had to upgrade but this is only one of our three trees and I think I think this one's for My Boy Leroy you know what? I'm saying what we're going to do this year, we're going to structurally reinforce this tree from top to bottom to be able to withstand 200 mph upon the top of Leroy So thinking thinking something like this hey Ty can you come take a look at this my something like that that's easy. but what I need you to do though is structurally you know make her sound and then I kind of want some way for her to stay fluffed a little bit. I mean obviously mile per hour is going to help with that. but I think it looks great.

You know what I mean just sitting straight up something like that? We'll let Tai and Jack have some creative freedom on this one, but uh, it's going to be right. So the only tree we're waiting on now is mullets.

Very nice tree. Got a real premium tree for mullet because it's got to be able to withstand 225 mph more than likely last Christmas tree drags. We let everybody come run testing, tune and the street tires kind of screwed up the track and I love letting everybody run. But here's the deal.

I'm trying to go fast so this year we outlawed all street tires so every car that's in the class is on either drag radi, dealer slick. I Think most cars are 8sec capable, some are 7sec capable, and quite a few are 6sec capable. This will be by far the fast Christmas Tree Drags ever. so you know we're just getting our trees dialed in early for December 22nd And also on top of all that, we hired some jet.

CS So The plan is to roast perhaps some old Christmas trees at the drag trip should be pretty good. I mean jet cars and Christmas and drag cars. It's going to be a great night Monster Tru No monster trucks but Draag Strip didn't improve that. but I tried.

All right. Oh boy, here we are Monday morning CLE Had the trackhawk all weekend for Thanksgiving and says hey, uh, pull the transmission and transfer case out it's going to North Carolina I mean the launches were pretty spicy. Yeah, so here we are. but uh, we know it's getting shipped out today.

yep today. so it's on its way out. It's almost out actually. and uh, I guess we're just going to have to wait for him to figure out what exactly he did look.

That thing looks brand spanking new. I Mean it pretty much is all right. Well, Jack Stand's getting her strapped in. she's on her way to.

North Carolina I Guess we'll see you back in a few days. All right guys. Well, here we are with the trackhawk and as you can see, she's taken apart. There's no transmission in it right now and the supercharg is off.

but that's for a damn good reason. Boys, she's not broke. she's just getting made better. Over Yonder You got a stock supercharger for, you know, Hellcat motor but but it's got a pulley on it, right? Nothing special in these boxes.

from Joker's performance. We have a ported Supercharger so still stock blower but it's ported so we're going to pop this box open. Show you what we got. This can make a massive horsepower difference on a track Haw or any.

Hellcat you port up the blower, you make the ports bigger, smoother, better air flow. These guys at Jokers are pretty well known for this stuff so we got with them. We're like, hey, we need a port blower. They sent us one out so we can compare it to our stock one and then we're going to slap it in the track HW and see what it does.

As you can see that supercharger. Massive. It's humongous. It's huge.

All right Buddy. Tell the difference. that is a thck th unit. I Think it's going to be right here.

Oh yeah, Buddy down here. Oh, there's some live action going on right here. ported and Polished if you know what I mean damn CNC to the max dud compared to the stock we got to pop the snout off and compared to the stock. Yeah wow, that's fancy.

Yeah I'm pretty sure all this is covered. We'll check it out. and I think they make this little cap right here too. Look at the difference.

I mean all that stuff is just opened way up. Damn there's a lot going on. Okay, not going on here. Here's what the factory snout looks like.

You know she's got some daily driven miles on her but still pretty good shape. but you can see it's it's all just that cast. not real smoo, just a bunch of unnecessary metal unne drag on that air. you know that air kinding of get ripping through there.

Then we got the Joker snout in here. ooh damn oh yeah damn she's bogged out. That is crazy. Look at the difference.

Oh my gosh, dude. all right, that'll work. Dral you think there'll be a little more air flow there? Yeah, just a little bit. It's crazy.

All right. it doesn't even look like the same part. just look at that. So you talk about airf flow, this is going to get you that air flow.

So some Jokers got us dialed in with a ported blower ported snout I mean look at how it's all in there. it's all up in there. Oh yeah, gosh, dang, look at the difference just on this piece. I Know that's humongous on here.

Oh wow yeah, just that piece alone. the shaft. So they put this in a CNC machine then. huh? It looks like they open it up from the bottom.

Oh, they open it up and they close it. Wow, that's some real nice equipment from Joker So what we're going to do is put our pulley and sensors and you know, our bricks and everything from our blower onto the Port blower and hopefully make a lot more horse. Tor That's the whole plan. This is just.

you know, freeing up that airf flow. Dude, get it R in the engine where it needs to be. Oh man guys. Well as you can see, we've got the transmission and the tase the track offw I Saw it in the comments.

You guys were all saying that transfer case holding on for dear life. Well guess what, it didn't actually break. but you guys got me worried about it. And here's the deal.

We launched track like 50 times already since we owned it and I was probably thinking yeah, it might blow up. it might blow the the transmission transfer case. Here's the deal that's really expensive to fix. So what we went ahead and did was fix it before it broke because we're giving this track Hawk away.

I Don't want one of you guys to get it. drive it like us And then boom Transmission explodes. So we pulled the entire unit out. We sent the transmission off to Simple Speed and Performance Adam from the Freedom Factory Drove it up to North Carolina Yesterday they did the entire package on the training and then he brought it back and we're about to stab it back in the car.

They got a couple different options for how you can build these things. We went ahead and did what is called the max Effort build 2,000 crank horsepower. This bad girl is ready for now. Yeah, Transmission and Tase R for 2,000 horsepower.

but it'll still drive like it's normal. It'll drive like it's stock transmission. Let's start from the front. We got a Billet stair triple disc converter.

We had to buy the converter, you know it. Just it was too exciting to not check the box for that. Far as transmission goes, you got a modified input shaft output shaft. you got better clutches, more of the clutches, you know, you got a Billet drum and some other good stuff.

This thing built to the moon and back transfer case. you got upgraded chain, upgraded bearings, upgraded clutches. So this whole package has already been 850s in a track. Hawk So this engine not capable of 850s.

However, if someone blows it up and wants to fully build the engine transmission tase. Good to go. And if something happens, Simple Performance is going to stand behind it for you guys. So whoever does win this thing they can beat on it and not have to worry about the drivetrain anymore.

I Saw you guys worrying. You got me worrying. Now we don't have to worry anymore. Simple: Speed And Performance They got styled in 2,000 crank horsepower.

This is rated for that's what they listed at I Mean what could go wrong now? I Mean look at it. I I Think we're good. So really the only thing that's stock is the stock bottom end on the engine now which they say is rated for over 1,000 horsepower and we're not touching that yet so that's pretty good. Zach and Jack Stand are about to stick it in the trackhawk and we'll go drive it here in a little bit.

All right. I'm put her in gear fired up new Trans New blower. put her in gear. Test it out.

Brother question: Oh yeah, that's smooth as ever. All right. Well, that's all good. That's all good is that? Revit Oh yeah.

but let me get by that supercharger first. Oh oh my gosh dude. Holy crap dude. it is so high pitched it's insane.

Yeah, all right. Well this is awesome. Our lowering springs were backwards. Yeah, they were in fact backwards.

Now she's sitting perfect. It look normal. now. it looks a lot better.

Oh it looks so good. Man deide he this ported blower, ported blower, firm shift built trans. Ooh oh that's clean. That's clean.

That blow sounds good too. Man sh feel perfect. Perfect brother. He said to do half throttle poles so slow down and kind of start getting on it.

no breaking. he said 10 miles of half throttle driving. Wow, half throttle is pretty fast. That's very fast so we'll drive it around for 10 or 15 miles, do some half throttle pulls, and then we do a relearn of the transmission and then apparently you're good to rip at that point.

Few moments later, time to to data log a third gear rip. Third gear rip like a Full Throttle rip. Yeah here we go. Oh yep yep Yep.

Perfect. Well trans didn't slip. No all right we got do tun wall down here and we just got to go ahead from the uh tuner to do a full pull. So I'm going to take you for a little rip yeah I haven't rid this thing yet.

this would be the first time I wish I Rod it stock so I could see the difference. It's really impressive what it can do now I Tell you that much these things make big Power these hems they make big Power yeah built ported blower, all the full pull full pull. this will be the first your change under. Full Throttle Line felt too so oh yeah with a new blower and everything new Trans Everything looks a lot better when we got the springs on the right away ready Supra the Supra ready this you turn track control off or you recording it's off it's scan I got it off.

Well we got the engine dialed in but I just got word from the transmission company simple Performance that you're supposed to turn the torque management off because that's what's kind of holding it up on the shifts. She's making all the torque so we just got all that turned off. He said once it's built, you turn that off minus it does pull timing on the shift, but we're going to flash this on and see what it does.

It's really should kind of roll through the shifts versus kind of doing this deal. kind of like that. All right here we go. Way better, way better.

Oh way better damn. I Wish I could take the voice for a ride now. Well now it is just gliding through the shifts, gliding through it. All right? Well that's perfect.
