The link is in the description below as well shout out to simplestay for sponsoring another video here at the police department youtube channel. Let's get to the live action. Hell yeah brother you're on the policeman for on youtube channel.

You need to rip a hard one right now, nice wow, are you firing up today, buddy i've been so fired up, blazers coming back dude coming back strong long way, coming back strong super strong! You guys get an update on a lot of stuff towards the end of this video, but you can see we're stripped down here. This thing isn't ready to rip going full race mode, but to go full race mode needs a full race mode engine, and what we got here is a whole combination to make it happen. So you guys have already seen this. This is our 1071 blower shot, blower that we had for toast right here back in the day, we'll get this out of the way, because you know the real business right now is to show you what's inside this texas speed, crate we're doing an ls blower.

Instead of a big block, blower combo, like we did with this before, so we also have some parts to adapt that over to an ls. So let's move this. Actually, let's, let's pop open these blower style boxes come on. Do you know what let me grab a little knife? We got doctor tune ball here, what's happening, how you feeling i'm feeling good? Okay, i'm excited for jordan, hey you know i.

I know we originally talked about like a thousand horsepower. You know that range, but i'm gon na tell you right now we over built the engine just slightly just in case just in case we ought to add nitrous or something so this here is gon na, be your manifold brother. Oh brother, whoa chrome gets around chrome to the boat a little bit different than toast hole inside. If you guys remember the blower little spacer there with the injectors in it, this will have injectors for each port.
So, oh my gosh. Oh this all day, long right here, yeah and with sam buffing out the new paint, it's getting real nice with your chrome. There brother, oh, my gosh, open this dude. This is what really matters here: piece of equipment right there, holy crap, damn yeah, so guys, blower shop builds these uh ls cathedral to obviously like a 1071 blower intake manifolds right here.

This one will be running on the blazer. This is the o-rings. I imagine holy fancy dude. Look at that.

How does that make you feel like one yeah like a real beast right, tingling yeah, big bad. I haven't seen one of these for an ls, yet the big black ones were cast. Oh, this has a spring. She just kind of shuts right back on yeah yeah.

We know you like the backfire, so we got a spring-loaded burst panel for you very cool. Well, that is nice. That's some quality equipment from the blower shop. There all right box number two from the blower shop.

The blower shop, okay, yeah, we got a bunch of pulleys in here we got some pulley spacers. The ls pulleys stick out a little bit further and that's going to take us to why we have a different engine today, billet snout with coupler no that'll be for this. Oh no, this one's longer yeah. He said the ls stuff's way longer so that'll be something i've figured out.

So there's all your blower stuff. What about this? What's in here? That's probably a gasket, oh okay, all right! So now we can go ahead and move this stuff and we can get to the engine all right, so you guys remember: we had that six liter ls with the rods and pistons around here we were talking about putting that in the blazer. Well, the problem is that thing did not have an aftermarket crank. It just had a stock crank which, if you run a stock crank on these big old blowers.

What tends to happen, jack stand, stink, break the smell snap, the snout of the actual crankshaft off, just because there's a lot of belt tension and stuff. So we had a tech speed, we're like guys we're doing this project with the blazer and we need something with a forged crank in it. That's what we got here today, but they went a little overboard. I'm gon na be honest.

Dude, i told him we needed something for a thousand horsepower. They said we got ta hook our boy up, so it's a little spicier good for that and then some it's a little spicier, i'm not gon na lie gotcha here, uh 427.. What much better than a six 427 stock block? But it's a re-sleeve deal, so it's got the dart and sleeves in the stock block. So i mean 1500 horsepower, probably wouldn't be a problem for it.

You got the prc. 247 heads got the uh texas speed, billet i-beam rods, y-scope pistons. This is pretty much our bad to the bone. 427 really yeah, we're not in that range where we need a six bolt block, but we are in the range where we needed an aftermarket crank.

So we're like well, you know what we might as well just go 427 on them. Get the nice rods get the nice pistons, these texas speed engines, they take an old 5'3 aluminum block and then they put sleeves in them and they hold up pretty dang good check that out brother. That's! The buenos md! Yes, camshaft straight up buenos dias logo! On your camshaft, so when you're ripping dude, you just have the buenos dias rolling straight with you. So now you got your buenos diaz hat.
You got your buenos diaz shirt. You got your buenos dias cam brother dude! Don't scratch it don't make me laugh dude! Oh, my gosh, okay, guys, oh yeah, we got to put one of them motion. Race works, close and following here we have brother valve covers uh valley cover. Oh yeah.

I, like that shout out to blower shop for forcing people to have to use aftermarket valley cover hit emotionraceworks.com when you need that careful careful boys come on dude golly, that's a freaking big unit right there, dude buddy dude, that's a shoe buddy and a half right. There, oh my god, oh my god, that's so sick go stand next to everybody! Go stand next to her! Get in there. Almost that's almost behind you. There george! That's a lot of freedom right there.

That's a motor look at that! Look at that dude match made in heaven dude! No, that's good right now take a picture everyone's like ready, all right. Let's put the engine to the side for now and all the parts we got ta go over to the blazer and talk a little bit about strategy, one of our good buddies. You race, with trey perez jr, innovative racecrafters racecraft. He may say bolt on slash weld on tubular front end kit, similar to the one that's on the el camino yep.

For these, what it's going to do is well. The el camino has the same brand one there. Oh yeah, actually yeah. It is innovative.

So we're going to do one of those front ends on here. It gets rid of tubular front, gives us rack and pinion gives us uh knuckles, lower control, arms, coil over conversion and doing so yep, which will give us all the adjustability. We don't have on the front end uh tie as you can see the it's gutted engage it place, it roll cage, coming brace it to that. So we don't bend it up and then uh we were talking since it's going to get mid plate motor plated that we might shift the motor forward and down yeah to get the center of gravity, get everything out this way as much as we can yeah.

Unfortunately, with doing this tubular front end, we are going to lose a lot of weight in the front end, so we're trying to compensate for that by moving the engine forward and down get that center of gravity as low as we can, because we don't want our Boy, george doing a wheelie every pass, i mean little one cool, but it's cool, but with that tubular front end yeah, it's not going to be as strong as she wants. That's not how that goes. Yeah. How do wheelies work out for you guys all three of you? Actually you go up and then you come down and then you got to fix stuff yeah, not tight, it's cool for now, but you know now that we're going race program yeah.
So that's uh! That's what we're at with this and then, of course, we'll get tbms to match the route for the front yeah, so we're doing tbn brakes we're going to do a new master, so we'll get rid of the brake booster. All the way up here to the booster go full manual brakes yep, but the goal is to keep this a street car. So we will have a gas fuel tank on board and then we'll probably have like a race e85 tank. We're just talking about that of doing like either keeping the stock tank for driving doing dual systems yeah like all right.

So at this point, what you said just jump over your time lapses, because i know you've been working like crazy on this thing, while i was out of town everything yeah all right cool, so check out all the work that george ty and all the other guys Have been putting in on this thing, it's coming a long way very fast. Well, a little overspray on your valley cover there just for sealing purposes that fly seal's still sealed brother. Oh, i was faking it, but it's really stuck! Oh there. It is, it seems, extra heavy.

Oh, you can smell it. Dude, let's see roll that puppy over, oh yeah. You know, i think it pinched it down pretty good, like look at how thin it made the flex seal when it pinched nearly invisible. It was all gone.

You can see where it just blew right through here right through there. I guarantee it blew right through there holy toledo, all in all didn't torch. The head, though, definitely smacked every spark plug shot. Did it oh yeah? Well, just that one, no, the one underneath it yeah it did actually is that from the piston hitting it or yeah, it's got a little tight, so without the actual head, gasket material seems like okay, all the pistons confirm that yes, too tight.

It was a little too tight of a clearance, so that was the pistons hitting the heads. Was that noise? Oh now we know oh man, so maybe it wasn't the flex seal dude. Maybe the piston just hit the head hard. Now you got the pressure with the nitrous in there.

All it did was make that harder took the other head off. Look at this, we got broken pistons on this side looks like it wasn't only the flex seal that was causing the problem. These pistons are cracked, too looks like it was just from the nitrous. The head, gasket did its job yeah, it did something hard to say, did something except let all the water out yeah did that, but we already had some crack pistons, probably from too much nitrous.

So it could have cracked, though, when you know this, half of the motor wasn't running the best, so we were feeding it all right. That was good. You know, i'm not blaming it on the flex. Seal science works like that.

Sometimes, when you got water in your cylinders here, cooling your flame front down - and you got all the heat from this side of the motor - got too much heat in the motor over here yeah. Regardless we got this way. We got broke pistons on both sides. So now we got an empty clean engine bay.
We're gon na pull all these wires out of here, get all this extra heavy metal out of here and get ready to do a full rebuild on old rocky all righty guys strip down to her bare bones. There is nothing left in the blazer, alright, no dash there ain't, even no steering there's nothing in the interior. This thing's fully gutted fully d wired, so we're gon na be starting from scratch on the blazer and turning it into a full-blown race car, which is something i knew might happen when we purchased this thing. It just had to happen so, but that's it for now guys, thanks for watching see you later bye,.

Moving engine forward sounds good but down idk sounds like no matter wat your going to wheelie so low could mean oil pans. Maybe strengthen up the tubes front end for a cpl slaps

I thought the last wheely bent the front frame. Caused a big panel gap at the bottom of the door.

George is awesome, so glad hes no longer with that other shop, who not needs to be named. George is my favorite… thankfully that weird fuck cooper left, even better he's not apart of the extended crew anymore.

George for sure deserves this, exciting to see!! Makes me want to build so bad when you guys post these videos, very inspiring! Hell yeah brother!

Either make a wheelie mobile or use a moveable CG. Just saying a burnout then a wheelie to the line, change the CG, then a drag car with a planted nose, well that'be cool.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jorgen Larsson says:

George is gonna sleep next to that engine tonight 🤣 Just look at him, Christmas came a bit late.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Medienhexer says:

More drivers, more driving. You can see it sinking in in George‘s face. This is no toy.
