I'm gon na do a burnout come on ty's, doing a burnout all right, guys, officially the day of freedom. 500. We had some gnarly weather last night, but now there's a ray of light upon the freedom factory. Look at that sun's coming out.

We're gon na have a dry race tonight. Boys i'm so excited the weather is a stressful factor in doing live events and it's impossible. Not to worry about it all week when you see the forecast that we've been showing so to see that we are now looking like we're. Gon na have a dry race, huge, huge relief so heading over the shop gon na check out the murcielago.

We're getting that thing ready for the pace, car and uh just getting everything dialed in for you boys. Today, all right benny! You found some issues, uh, sort of yeah i'll start it up and i'll show you and then once it's once i've turned it off. I'll. Explain: okay, so foreign, like these hats, like this hat simon, camaro, hat fantastic for drag racing yeah, because they don't really bust about the idle.

They just want wide open, throttle yeah and that's it, but with burnouts it's a little bit different. We want the idle um. It's it's just a snowball effect. You know the idle's bad at high.

So then we throw hip fuel out of it to idle and then keep you feel a little bit idle milk makes you know a banana milkshake in the oil. So it's until we can sort this out the idle and all the air yeah. We also block off these yeah and like a lot of a lot of cars, you know a lot of drag racers, probably don't like it, but a lot of cars in the burnouts. In australia we put carbon ribs down here yep, so then you've only got this center butterfly only that one works, which is plenty of air.

I mean this is a bigger throttle body than our other drag cars, and then you're gon na have more fuel. Under your pedal, rather than trying to deal with three butterflies like that, you're gon na have one butterfly and it's gon na be so much easier to drive under your foot rather than having you know, wave your shoelace over and it goes from 2000 to 5000 yeah. So you're gon na have it's gon na be easier to drive. The oil is gon na, be better your idle's gon na be better your tune's gon na be better.

When you pull it into drive, it's not gon na try to take off on you. It's gon na be easier um and then once we get that sorted, then we can progress and chase the top end tune and fix it like that. That would be she'll still make it though she'll still make it she'll still go. The other thing with carbon is the hardest thing is you'll see on the camaro.

It's got a an aluminium insert which will help yeah the butterfly seal, where this is a full carbon face. They don't seal so, and the temperature, because the carbon carbon expands. Oh yeah same as the alloy, so we might get it good today when it's, i don't know what temperature is it today. You know yeah 80 degrees, 80 degrees, and then you might start it up next week when it's 110 and go something's changed.

What's going on yeah, it's just because shrinkage and interest interesting, so that would that would be your issue with the idle and right sounds like a chaff cutter at idle, so yeah, it's uh yeah. That would be it sounded much better when you blocked those two. That's what zach was saying sort of skidded with that we put some duct tape over there with yeah. Just throw some fuel at it, and yeah should be right, we'll go again cool all right other than that you're pretty happy with it.

Yeah we fixed a couple bits and pieces, but yeah, oh yeah. Let me see this bracket. Oh yeah, that's a little better yeah. It doesn't quite move that'll work yeah, it doesn't have uh.

So the variable time is on there. You haven't got that no variable timing, anymore gator dialed, ready to rip for tomorrow and kill a b is good. All right. Yeah everything's good check that over to be honest, it's absolutely faultless, beautiful, beautiful, tomorrow's gon na be fun.
