Hell yeah brother, you're on the please before on YouTube channel. All right guys! Today we are out here with Donnie uh last time we shot a video with it it started making some really really bad noises which I'm gonna have to start up in a second to hear before I take it all apart but it sounded kind of like our torque tube came apart went away all right. as you can see Sam's been cleaning it from our last adventure with it which you guys will see soon. I can't tell you what it was but car's Pretty Dirty Sam's getting her all cleaned up you know Donnie just he's getting some love right now so we're gonna put it on the left and see what this noise is.

really quick all right. so we're in the car. let's see if we can hear the noise as you can hear something is broke in there and I don't see anything crazy going on in the bell housing right now I don't see like any scratches. see if I can get in here I don't see any scratches or anything's.

like rubbing the sidewall of it. So we're gonna go ahead and pull everything out and get a deeper look and see. obviously we see we have a rear main seal leaking dripping right there. but that's typical.

You know with the RPM that we're revving this thing out. Oh foreign. We got the transmission out and first Sanders there's kind of some oil flowing around here so this seal right here might be starting to fling grease out, but you can see the play and the torque tube right off the rip and you can hear the noise. Oh so we did put bushings in it.

Yeah, I'm gonna slide around. Oh oh, there's a bolt. metal. Okay, oh nice.

Okay, that shouldn't be in there so it looks like this bolt is backed out. Oh loose is fast brother who's seen our new shirt built loose to go fast. Dude, it pulled the whole ring. Oh man, you know we couldn't do the Month of Freedom without Leroy Definitely could give it a Quick Throttle Blow.

All right guys! Leroy has really struggled on any track that's not absolutely fabulous, just pampered like he's had the spa type drag day. today. it's 100 degrees outside, the sun's beating down on the track. Look at all this weight that we have now.

this is secured with a bolt, but also you got 100 pounds here, 100 pounds there. and then if you look down there, there's another 100 pounds. So we haven't scaled the car yet, but we're gonna make a hit and see if this works. If it does work, then we know that we just flat out have too much of a 4 ratio in such a light car.

Which kind of I mean we can't do that. What did it end up weighing? I Think it was like 58 or 59 on the nose at 25.50 Yeah. I Want to say so forward? If it works, then we're going to take it back to the shop and figure out what this weight bias is and then we'll actually put some weight on it. Permanent good weight on it.

We probably don't want to go a quarter mile like this because if I were to crash at the end, these are basically missiles. Yeah, yeah, that's why I Got three knots in here. dude. there's a big bolt in there.
Show them the bolts so they know it's big. You can't even see the head of the bolt, but there's a huge 14 inch long bolt through those. But this isn't the right way to do weight. We'll try it and uh, make no prep.

Yeah, you know I mean Desperate Measures Leroy just hates not perfect traps. That's how he is. He's always been a sweat. This will give us some data to hopefully make it faster.

We had to have one Leroy a month of Freedom video. You know what I mean We can't run it out the corner because you know? When we went 701 we heard that engine so we know the limit is pretty much right there. So we don't want to waste a perfectly good engine. So we're just going to do some testing.

and then we have that really gnarly engine coming from Pete Harrell which should be done too. and then we'll slap it in. Then we'll come to a perfect Drive day and go that six. but we'll get some data today, hopefully.

Well guys, can they have something that you're wrong? All right Leroy is out here. The track is very hot. We're gonna see if we can make something happen out of this. Oh Leroy is back.

Yeah, look at all the weight on the back. oh my God Unreal. Well did make a rip. oh my God Foreign.

Okay, that's gotta be the first time Leroy's ever gone down on a hot track. Well I was like no way. what is 60. 126.

pretty solid. Yeah, not bad for being 100 attracts 146. What? Well, so we gotta scale it. put it on the scales.

yeah, see what she weighs I Think well what the percentage is gives us a good idea what it likes because it definitely likes this. I was actually astonished that it went down. Yeah, there were blisters on the track. I mean the Blazer That ain't no problem.

What is your laugh at that all day long? but Leroy would never go down that. I Think that way a lot of cars wouldn't want to go down there. Yeah, non-ideal tracks. but if that weight was gone, do you think that would have happened? I think if you took this weight off and kicked the tire my feet All right.

I think a lot of what we've been fighting. is that all right? Let's go throw it on the scale, see what kind of data we're looking at. Well, Bud scales are out All right there she is. Okay, Okay, yeah, there's definitely 200 pounds extra on it.

All right. we're sitting at uh, 26 sitting at 26.60 with all that extra weight on the back so we have 250 pounds on it. that means the car is around 2400 ish. But with me, All right.

So with me in it 28.90 What are we? 53 on the nose right now I was thinking what a difference 52 so that's pretty close. but for sure what it is. Yeah I Want to say it was 59 before? So okay. but 53s 59's like perfect track like we've been fighting.

You know that only works on it. Yeah, and 53 is more. It'll go down anything like that normally, which it did today. Kind of proved it so we won this much.
weight is the question though. I think if you can keep it like 55, 55 is probably the most you really want on the nose for the kind of racing that we do for the radio, 53 might be a little bit light. It might be a little light on the front end if you're like really leaning into it, so like on the next motor, it might start trying to Power Wheel again for 55. we're probably too much, right? 74.55 would be a lot safer on the wheelies.

Yeah, yeah, you gotta stay in there. Man, that's big old bolts you got there, Boys, you know. The funny part is we talked about wanting to slide the motor for further when we were building a car and we didn't I'm really glad we did it. Like the engine any further forward, everything is working perfect.

We just need to get this not perfect track tune-up dial then. All right. So we're taking 50 so that's 200. All right.

so just take those off. 100 pounds. That's everything off now. We just dropped it 26.87 Look, it went to 58 on the nose.

Oh yeah, all right. so we need about half of that on the back because Ty's not gonna put the weight there anyway. so we might just have to leave it on the scales and let Ty hang weight all over. Yeah, this is the other thing too.

We have movable weight Like there's no reason to add weight. Yeah, because you're trying to keep. You always want to keep your race car as light as possible, but have it scaled to where it works. That battery is 40 pounds.

We can take that battery and slide it back and sliding weight back. Like think about a teeter. You know you got it like this. If you slide the weight back, that's already there.

it's going to go to where you want it to be. So sliding that 40 pounds back is going to be Huge. Yeah. Science degree? So science.

Yeah, that's how we're gonna get this figured out. All right. Well, we kind of made it clear today though, that weight is our issue. So you took that other 60 pounds off, it'd be 50 59 forward like it was and then it'd be a nightmare.

guys. We got you your month of Freedom Leroy content I Know it's just a morsel, but we're trying to bring it in for you just here at the end. but that's it for now. Thanks for watching new video.

We'll freaking see you later! Foreign.

Opinions like bungholes. Go figure. It's science! I'm just another foul stenxh.
    You found a progressive key.
Don't add useless weight, instead, simply relocate the working mass.
What if the mass is movable throughout the run?
Full fuel tank at the back off the launch, nearly empty at the end?
    Rocket science maybe?

Hey Cleet! Maybe if you put like giant weighted ball bearings into the back part of the roll cage and have a reinforced metal plug and a rubbery material on the bottom of the plug so they wouldn't fall too fast and would just be able to roll them in at the top of the cage
