Hey, what's up guys, today's video is sponsored by raycon if you're looking for a high quality set of wireless earbuds, look no further raycon's got you covered alright, so these puppies cost half the price of normal earbuds sound amazing the base so good. I prefer to use mine when i'm traveling on the airplane. I know georgie uses his right here in the shop. You can use them when you're working out whatever it may be.

What's pretty amazing, is these earbuds have an eight hour battery life on their own? For a total of 32 hours of battery life, with the charging case hit it with a hammer james, no i mean you got ta hit it harder than that. That's like nothing! Okay, they're pretty durable it smashed the metal into it out there all right, a little harder still runs like a cadillac one, more crap. That was pretty hard dude, so this case will protect them, no matter what you're doing. That's that's a strong case, protect them, while you're not using them and charges them at the same time.

They don't come out of your ears. You can use them wherever you go, take it from the people. Who've already bought them. They have over 48 000 five-star reviews and raycon's everyday earbuds look feel and sound better than ever with optimized gel tips for the perfect in-ear fit, and today you guys can get 15 off a set of earbuds for yourself by visiting buyracon.com cletus mcfarland.

Well, that's it! Let's get to the live action: hell yeah brother you're on the please confirm youtube channel all right guys. We got mullet back here after sick week. It's time to do some maintenance go through see what we broke, see, what we didn't break adjusting valves all week, because basically we were losing lash completely and we were having a cylinder stay wide, open and losing compression completely. So we're going to take these heads off and get them sent back to the machine shop, but we're going to see if we can get some better valve train in there and maybe we can put some more boost to it and get our six second pass.

So we found some damage from our last pass or last pass on the 7 30.. Something happened to it, so we decided to take it back here and take it apart make sure everything was good, but there's our push rod. So basically, we just need to get some better valves in here is probably beating it up, which caused the bolts to come loose just got to get it apart, get some better valves in it. Relash everything do hmm um all right, guys we're ripping out the radiator and the rip saw today.

We put a hole in it or there was a hole, not really sure we're going to find out when we get it apart, because it's pretty hard to see in there. As you can see, this thing is really shoved in here we even have a mechanical fan. Just like the factory truck, so we're gon na start ripping this out and see if we can squeeze it out through this hole all right, so i pulled the mounting bolts out of the side of the radiator on each side and we've got a little air gap. All right we got her out, only uh took a lot.
Look. How big this thing is. Here's here's my shoe compared to it. This thing is huge, looks like the mechanical fan was our failure for some reason.

Maybe it was the extreme nose dives. I don't know. Maybe well we let george drive it that that was it's hard to hold up to these things. So when it got nosedived, i'm guessing that the fan you know, wobbled smacked the radiator, so you can see got it really good right.

There bent them up right there and even smacked up here, so we're going to check out the fan clutch see how that is, we all kind of want to throw electric fans on here. So that might be the solution here, but you can see the tip of the fan: blade broken where it was eating the radiator all right, zach and i are getting the rip saw back going just topped off the hydraulic, fluid zach's punching together the air box and We'll be dialed in got our volvo semi radiator back in talk about a tank mechanic, complicated huh yeah, those guys they go through a lot yeah. Imagine a real tank like a military one would be such a pain all right. So we went to take the tank out the other day.

As you see, we've got one two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and nine ten. I just took these two off um they're leaking very heavily. As you can see, it's all gooped up this one's mount's broken completely, so we're gon na go ahead and get some new calipers slap them back on bleed. All these breaks sure we're gon na have to replace a couple more calipers eventually, but this should get us back on track to where we can play with this thing again, all right guys so we're putting this other caliper on over here and you can see how Far off the center alignment is to the rotor, so yep we're filming, so we have to space out the calipers and bring them over to try and center them to the rotor.

We don't have much room on this one right here, because it's going to hit the side of the body itself so looks like this washer right here will be enough, especially got one right here. Looks like this. Washer will be enough to get it over not really going to be too picky about it, because i don't think we're going to get it perfect, but it's not on the side anymore. It's a little closer to the center.

Did i say we weren't going to be too picky? I meant i can't do that added another washer over here to get it to where it was perfectly centered. I don't think i'm going to be able to do that on this side. I really wanted to do it, since we could actually get it that close over here now over here, we're not going to be able to get over. It looks like i measured out we'll be able to put one washer in it, which will be better than it was, as you can see no brake pad pushed out over here.

If it's too close this way, how's it going getting the leaks, all checked out a couple: calipers yeah, all the calipers are torqued. Now i think every time we ride it, we need to re-torque it just to make sure that'd be good. I see you got some actual backing nuts on some of them too yeah some of the brackets were stripped out so on those we just got extra nut to put on the back yeah and torque those ones a little tighter, yep new fans for the brakes. I mean, i think, just having them not.
Overheat will also help so getting our fans a little more power up front too, to get the heat out of this cab yeah. So that way it doesn't overheat when we're beating on it cool yeah. Let's go rip it. Let's go: do a top speed run today, see what she'll do freedom factory front field top speed test coming at you folks, oh yeah it'll definitely go yeah.

That thing gets down all right guys, so zach's been working on their install changed out a bunch of brake calipers changed out a bunch of fans we had like that mark working, so we got a lot of stuff mixed up. We're about to beat the hell out of this thing and mama as well she's ready to go back. You already know shaking his head. Well, hey that tail light was already out my bad dude.

Look. We didn't even feel that all right, let's test it, i mean we might as well. I was like hey just go up there and bump him. He goes.

I didn't mess around with that thing, but we're going to have one end up dead. What are we going to say? Then? I said we ain't going to say a whole lot of nothing. What's going to be dead dude, we didn't even feel him bumping really dude. He is high tailing uh.

How fast you think you went there with about 67 68 mile, an hour 67-68 like it. What's he doing again, heating it hot lapping. This thing look at that thing: rod it is riding. Oh, it's smoking! Oh boy, uh-oh might have chucked a dummy.

She got hot smell like coolant. We got smoke over here. It only had 200 on the dash little little water leaking, i mean yeah, you were running there, pretty pretty hard can't be too upset. Oh, we lost the cap, you might need the cap.

Did it feel like it was governed there it just stopped like it ran out of gear. Okay, do we gear it or change the horsepower? No, it's out of commuter yeah, your horsepower. Oh it's out of gear, yeah, yeah yeah! It needs a gear change for a rear gear. Now it's still down in here.

We can. Maybe time doesn't grab it. So that's got a serious gear. You have a ratty average cap dude, that's meant right.

There, dude they're, not even smoking. That's good! That's the first time they haven't smoked, that's the first time i've ever ever stopped and not been smoking. Granted we weren't training, spanking new. You know i wasn't on the brakes when you're coming at us they're, not even warm.

Well that one doesn't get. Oh, do this thing coming at you, it's all tooted up and when you pass all you hear is turbo in the tracks. It's insane god. Dang lost the radiator cap, but the brakes are good.
It's okay, we found it. Yeah i mean it must have. Just came. Must have been on all the way because those can't just unclip we lost a lot of radiator fluid, though bucko you should probably take her back high parking spot.

Well, it's not that tight at the spot really tight parking in this field, not that nice you're, good yeah. No, no you're gon na turn right, hey buckwheat, hey you better steal the head open that bottle better steal the hit over here too. Oh you're good. Am i good yeah silly mary's got left, don't forget to steal the hit, knock my mirror off.

The only mirror you got. Did you spin yeah me too? Let's do it in the grass. Oh in that spot. I was right in the sugar sand.

All right, hey! You got ta come this way when you all take off like all right, we'll go down there. Yeah come at me. I couldn't see anything yeah. Well, they can't.

I mean it's just obviously his flags. That's it look at that flash flying freedom, machine and they're gon na go down and line up head. This way, hey you're done! Oh the cobalt's hanging in there. The cobalt is hanging in there.

Oh my god. Oh my god. He nailed that thing. Dude you're wild you're, airborne all right run.

It back hold my running back. Oh they're, running it back colby with the gap, the big gap again dude you caught so much dude. This thing is a mighty beast. Oh my god.

It's definitely messed up, though. Okay, you definitely did that. One did not see that going. Are you on the nitto still yeah dude you caught so much air over here he was k he caught air down there too.

The back tires were off the ground about three different times a little different than it was did i get up to 50 and it just it's like having. I know you top out a car and it like, gets all the up, speed and then stop. That means i was going like 70 off, you were going 70 dude. You were going 70.

yeah that second one was about a three-car gap. The first one was tighter, dude, hey the only thing. The only thing left to do between this battle is a tug of war. I think, oh boy, oh my gosh dude nailed it.

No. They definitely got used more in that. Turning and ripping and stuff you can smell it, but they ain't smoking, not a wig. The true test will be if they're still torqued to what i torqued them to yeah.

If they weren't they'd, probably be smoking a little more yeah. Well, all the seals are in them. Now, ain't getting no fluid on that seal in there boy they are all like off alignment. The brakes start working yeah, how many shims lots of shims and everything too yeah.

Look at that! What do you know? Oh geez? Oh, my gosh, oh there's a crank on it. What did you do? Oh he's, coming back for more literally, look put it to the floor in reverse. This is as fast as it goes watch it don't steer into me. Dude all right, i'll, see you in there.
I think you got it, i think you got it. Am i good? Oh, no yeah you're good yeah you're good. I can move, i just don't want to get hit by the air bag when it goes up. I don't think i'm gon na make it george yeah yeah.

I think you got real, you got room, let me go, don't steer into me dude, i'm, not i'm steering away from you. James get off the wheel. Okay, so we got great temperatures. Brake temps are good, brakes, worked, fantastic drives better.

Now it's a little like i don't know what was wrong with it feels tighter. It just feels tighter yeah. It's still, it definitely will go 60 on the street. So it's back in action and the coolant temp didn't get hot once the cap was on that's good, that's good! Cobalt has broken daylight.

That's the only bad thing about this video yeah and that's really not even red tape. Okay, you know we ain't using them. You know we ain't replacing it with the full system. No, all right guys, thanks for watching dude for available freaking see you later, you.

You boys be careful searching for speed, that tank isn't a drag car. Imo, it's fast enough. Great vid!!

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars stan nelson says:

Is there a reason why mullet is all mix and match parts and not a 100% proven combination. So much throwing ship at the wall and keeping what sticks. Fun content though!

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Carter Andrews says:

Garret suncoast makes a 6 speed kit for your tank, itโ€™s a strong engagement with the C2 and C4 clutches, the C3 is the weak one. So you will get an extra 350 rpm or maybe 10-15mph or so

I noticed the rotors are worn more on one side than the other which is common and then it hit me… Changing those rotors looks like a Jay Oh Bee. lol

The all steel pbr pin drive caliper would prob be a better choice in there. More swept pad area and prob more clamp force. The steel would be more durable.
