Hell yeah brother you're on the policeman for on youtube channel wells, diaz, ruby check out the john deere unit, this thing's, so rad, you guys have been doing good man going here. Buddy, it's gon na be a good day. As you guys know, the results of last night's racing were not good for us. Leroy's gon na have to run super hard today.

Srt10 looking clean, but leroy's gon na probably have to dip in the sevens today to maybe get a win. The calculation is, we have to run half a second faster than whatever our opponent runs. If he turns in an 8.5, we got ta turn into 795 to get back in the first place, so it's gon na be tough, but we're leaving early. So we can get a bunch of runs.

Let's do it. Brother, let's make it happen, also got the new cleater windbreaker on dude great unit right here, nice unit. It's a little windy today, a little chilly. These are sweet hope you got some good sleep leroy! Oh all right made it to our checkpoint and we're also getting some fuel.

This should be the last fuel up for leroy on race week. We are making good time we're gon na be at the track on time today. Hopefully all right guys by now. You all know the drill last and final day of rocky mountain race week ask the final car wash with our girl ruby, get her cleaned up ready to go for the race today we're about 20 minutes out from the track, making good time we drove halfway through The night last night, so uh got a short little bit to go.

It's still early. You got plenty of time, so we're gon na get this thing cleaned up and we're gon na get it to the track. I got ta duck on reattach the wastegate i'm gon na. Have me a couple tic tacs of the mcmack and uh go ahead and make us a rip.

That's it brother 000 miles down. We made it. We made it back to thunder valley. Look at that! Dude! We're early there's like nobody here is this what it's like to be early? This is what it's like.

We've never once showed up early on a racing track day, but today we're going all out. We had to be here early. We got to run this car to the fullest, all right, chad, you got us and you got us by a tenth or two yeah yeah we're gon na have to go pretty quick, see. I'm just gon na push you to get your seven there you go.

I like that there it is brother there. It is hey. We made the drive. Now we got to make the pack all right there.

We go ruby all shined up she leveled up, so we had to level up her class and make sure she rolls on the track shined up yeah. Well, i think gleaming. What definitely gon na have to go. Stick that thing back on there with some of that.

Some of that metal belt machines well we're close to the track and i'd like to make it there and do it at the track not on the road so uh. Hopefully it hangs on in there it's a little bit longer the old crack pipe dang. It crack. All the way back there, the whole turbo's gon na blast off.

Oh dude, stuck on the side of the road just to get us to the track, we're only 20 minutes away. We got 18 miles to go. I'm gon na take a ratchet, strap and just hold the gate to the pipe to make it run. Ish better, i'm gon na just put it here, pull to something on the front end, maybe just the radiator to keep this up tight enough to the pipe.
So this way it's not too big of an exhaust leak, so the air fuels aren't wonky. So the car is not surging. Sometimes you get the candy bar. Sometimes you get the rapper side of the highway james using the richard shrimp and what's the best part about the last day of race week, the best part yeah.

We got ta leave it in race mode. So we hate, like it's. A process switch this car from race mode to street mode. So this is the final time we have to go from street mode to race mode and we don't have to go back.

We just put it in the trailer and race ready. So obviously, when he's home he's just we're just ripping him well, oil change for our boy, we're not doing the oklahoma oil change, but we're doing the regular looks pretty good. It's a fresh oil there and a fresh filter. Wastegate fell back down, really wrecking us right now, with the fuels they are just blasted in here eyes are watering i'll guess not our thing.

No, i don't care not pump gas fans over here, but we're so close to the track. A couple miles left for the old ratchet, strap hanging by a thread as they would say, green line. We got her strapped up. It was slowly peeled.

There's got to be one little tiny spot see. It's finally rested on the fender, so it stopped moving. This way. Kind of quick fumes get steaming in there dude.

We were dying all right. We've got a little piece of cardboard here: block the wind, big yeah, i'm feeling actually that ain't going okay, ain't going nowhere, that's it dude! We got ta. Let we got ta quit letting the janitor do the welding dude the groundskeeper knows. Oh my god.

I was sitting there and it was pretty bad at the hotels like it should be able to make it, though so then better now yeah, i just welded it all back on. You know how to weld. Oh, my ready for a cool 7-5 pass. Yeah.

It snaps off george, you look a little tired. Just got to get that rip in today. Buddy there solid, dude, still bogged on the launch. It went fur but overall full pass.

That makes me happy. 8. 13.. All right, that's good! Now we got ta.

Add some power we got ta. Do it carefully? That's a good start: brother yeah geez. It's trickling, some power now yeah 177.. I know it's freight training, there's just nothing down low yeah, all right guys back in the lanes day, five uh! I already make the first rip had an eventful one, with ruby ran out of gas twice, trying to keep it low.

So this one's in the trailer doesn't leak. Any uh pump gas out so ran it gas twice and also had the wastegate fall off, but got here got it well to back up and uh ready to make a pass. Got a dice down. Fueled up switched over ready to go.
Look at that smoke. All right, jackson, let's get that a little bit, you guys saw it. You know it took the hit and spun 120 flat 60 foots that definitely been a 750 pass, but it went out and spun. I recovered it quick and i got back in it just to get some collected.

Data didn't go under power. The whole way down, just because i didn't want to have to pull the shooting pack and all that stuff to save us time, but it uh on a 5 14 at 143 and then an 804 at 149, because i got out of it before the quarter. Coming out there uh 125 right after that, the power is coming in. Oh, it's fine! I could really use that one 260 foot you got there.

If i had a 126 foot, i'd be going 780 yeah. 140.. 813. 177..

Now we know the clutch works now we'll trickle it in, for others all right guys. I know it's hard to see, but this bog is rpm going. That's killing us, that's our 60 foot time getting tore up. The rest looks nice, but all right, that's not working for us, so i think a lot of the reason we're having so many problems with leroy is the power management is crazy.

I mean we went 177 on 21 pounds of boost that used to be like 34 pounds of boost. This is insane. Turbos are wild yeah. We really got ta figures, so we're gon na try and bump it up to like 26 27 pounds of boost.

Let's see how fast it goes, uh-oh where'd you go. I see your parachutes out. I've just been pulling it anyway. I only went uh 8.69 8.69.

Oh man, you're gon na keep running. Oh yeah, oh yeah, i'm here i can turn in my eight, no matter what so i'll turn it up. Now i got more boost to go. Make it happen.

Brother teamwork makes a dream work, look at brent. You can tell from 50 feet away he's just fired up. He just did a drum roll on top of leroy about to make her hit, hopefully a good one just so it turns out we're right next to leroy, okay, let's how about some side-by-side seven action right now, you want to run me. That's a big mistake.

Buddy big mistake: oh yeah, oh yeah, roll through that glue baby, get it nice and sticky. Leroy did not get a good run. Ruby went 7.94 all right. Well, that's better little gap.

There dude yeah dude. What's up with your boy pulling the parachute early dude, i don't know so early. He just wanted to pull it until you've seen it yeah he's about 30 miles an hour shy on his run yeah. I was like what the heck so bran.

If you look, it was actually still bogging again, it was on its way to bog and then yeah, i don't know bro brent and i are starting to think our clutch might be too tight. So, do we make a clutch adjustment, i mean we. Can we have the capability yeah? Let's do it, it's not that hard. Let's do it.

Yeah, there's one washer on there. We can just pull off spawn real bad yeah. Just did that break up thing again, but 49 yeah. I was like why'd, you pull the parachute so early.
Well, i was doing the breaking up thing and i was pedaling. The car started moving so 489 dude the car looks solid as hell. It's rpm and see launch up here in the rpm rpm's climbing in high gear climate, climate, climate, climate, climate and then it says, sinking and then i get out of the gas and get back in the gas and boom it comes back, spend enough time down here. Might as well spend some more we're going to drop one of those washers off of this thing and you've got ta loosen her up.

All right. Clutch weights are changed. Oh damn, brother, it's still bugged. That was 50..

It worked, though i mean it was better. It just bugged, i definitely was not a seven lost our belt. For some reason, this header looks like he's moving a lot. No, i have the saddest news.

Ever these headers have lasted so long and look the turbo broke off hold on the turbo broke off the whole turbo is broken. I can legit, oh dang, it turbo literally fell off the leroy. I would've been waiting for this day to come. That wasn't my weld.

Okay, that wasn't ties either. That's an og weld from when we first got this turbo kit done, i'm fairly sure. The reason this happened is because brett and i took the turbo mounts off - there's mounts that normally hold the turbo. So when we had to move the motor to pull the trans, we never put them back and it ran for years without them, but these are bigger turbos we got, we got a problem.

Come here, turbo turbo broke off. Look up here. Oh my gosh. Oh, my god, until they've broken off turbo, we got ta weld it right.

All right, let's go hold on i'm gon na. Take this off. Where did it break up? I don't know i was on the way i was on the shutdown. I was like that turbo's broken and it was literally because they're rattling the brackets the bracket clamps are sitting right there.

Damn leroy raises your wastegate falling off and raise you to a turbo that has fallen off yeah wow. It just slowed down to the 60 foot but uh. I think now that the clutch is loosened up. You can definitely hear it, throw some power out.

It sounded like it's dead hook. It doesn't matter yeah, let's give her the beans now so now we got ta. Go we got ta go 877 or something here. We'd have to go eight, seven to catch him.

We better get to work. Seven! Seven! You mean yeah. We have to go seven, seven to catch him now! Oh my god, all right guys! Well, it's welded up on all the sides. We can access, not the prettiest thing in the world.

Those ones don't have the best penetration in the world, but you know we're using welder out of the trailer and we are going to put our mounts on the cage right here and tack them to the downpipe to try and take a little bit of vibration. Out of this, but go and check that out, i think that'll help we welded the old brackets in here just for a support. Oh nice, yeah, okay, wow, all right! It blew the turbos off. Well, you don't see that every day where is it there? It is that is bogging still we got to uh.
Should i put the dr tuna walls two step on it and build some boost. Remember that from dx2k just depends on. If we can hook it, i mean. If the question is when it went on 767, it launched at 4 900.

we're only at 45.50. So let's what if we take a little weight off right up to 4 900.? That's what i'm thinking! That's exactly wrong! We're trying to get this back to where it did its best yeah all right all right. So just so, you guys can see the difference between a 767 and an 815 same launch, rpm or close, and then the 767 straight up 8-1 bogs down and then look at the shift points. How different all that is all right.

Guys, clutch change! Number two we're gon na go to this little bolt that should drop our weight quite a bit. Oh, my god, all right brent, ready to rip i'm ready. This is. I think this is it.

This is our first seven second race week pass so guys. I turned everything up because i didn't want to have a good 60 foot and then not have the boost there ready to take it on a trip so 58 the right way if it makes it to the 60 foot cone under power. Apparently, i think it's gon na go with seven all right, leroy, so holy crap, the first 10 feet was like yeah. It shook shook out all right.

So that's the first time it hasn't bogged and look at that. It was perfectly rising. Rpm wheel, speed ripping, and then you can see right when the clutch hooked up tore the tires off all right. Guys back up here got our old crank sensor back in it, since it worked better, also shimmed it to where it's not touching the reluctor wheel and hopes that that fixes it yeah, i'm gon na try to run it down through there.

If it pops, though you'll see me, get out of it again and just let it roll on through there trying to just roll on through, if it doesn't make a clean rip, i'm trying to roll to something better than a 790 to turn it. Oh 164.. So yeah, that's what i'm talking about! Hey big dog yeah! That's all right! Like a champ, i was gon na get in the middle of that there we go all right! Wait! Do that again! Dude what'd! It do. Oh also, andy just went a 799 first ever gto run yeah with irs in second place.

Yeah. That secures me second question. The first place got broken yesterday, just come to the track and hasn't made it faster. So dang look at that thing.

Oh, so we just too low at tire pressure. I mean it widened it up left marks on the track. I feel like it's going to need more than just tire pressure, though i don't feel like, i feel like tire pressure needs to come up, but you need more of the tire pressure. Okay, we're going to try to make something if it'll help yeah, we do better.

Exactly all right, sorry about the line so chad's winning 809. So now we got to go 758, our first race, we take home second place. Big team second place right here, two times, george and james. In second, we got second, but it was not for a lack of try.
Definitely the hardest. I've ever worked on recently yeah for sure you guys were grinding. All week we were trying man hey bro one day, we'll go with seven in leroy on race week. One day, just nothing next time, completely unprepared brand new setup we'll do some testing we're going down to florida.

That's fine, we'll come back literally, all right, guys, great job, great job, everybody, great team, great team and parker and ben around here. Twice, don't finish good week. Hey? What about chet going nine? Oh chat, nine out of ten pretty good! That's true! We own that thing. We're headed off guys thanks for watching, do it for dale, we'll freaking see you later.

You.

Love the Race Week 2.0 coverage. Was on a long business trip when this was happening live.. Came home and had hours and hours of content to watch and relax with! Fantastic, thank you guys so much for an awesome week. Please, Please give Leroy the TLC he deserves so that Race Week 1.0 2022 he will crush the stick shift class and not only be running 7's each track, but maybe looking to go sub 7.5. What ever it takes!! Let Kevin go absolutely nuts to help….

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tony Hill says:

You need to start using stainless steel for your exhaust systems. More weight but its in the front and JACKSTAND needs that anyway.

I love love love everything about the channel and the cars . The ONLY thing im not a fan of is that clutch. I know it’s a pretty amazing piece of tech but I really like the gear jamming with the monster clutch

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Adam Garcia says:

Wonder if going bigger/wider(rear tires) with slight adjustments on the suspension would help Ol' leroy the savage!!? 🤔🤔

Loving Leroy, but is it time to ask KSR for them to look at your data and any suggestions regarding setup with the changes to clutch. Just a thought.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Greg Ballard says:

Just watched KSR video and surprised to see that Kevin was in the race with Dale to boot and not one min of footage out of five days of him or Dale. Very interesting , Very interesting indeed.

Yall wonder why your headers are always breaking, hmmm might be your hangin a fuckin turbo off of them. Make a supported flange.

Nice thing about the leaking exhaust being on Ruby, James and George don't have to worry much about drain bamage 🤣🤣

Watching the last couple days made me wish Cleetus had a SK 46175 Extension in his road tools. This 1/2 inch female X 3/8 inch male X 35 inch long extension is a must have tool for trans and clutch work. With a set of Snap-On 3/8 metric impact sockets, bellhousing bolts become easy.
