I don't understand how we'd use a lathe, because i've never used one, but i'm here to see anything now how many times we take those elevator brackets put it on there and it chucks a belt yeah. We have no ability, but to guess, with the washers yeah, i'm in here cutting down something the size that you need boom spacer boom, i'm gon na shift her dude pull her in the high gear.

Oh, that is not the old block. Oh yeah, let me look at these holes. Look how quick now yeah so guys. As far as neighbor goes, you know the old engine right, it looked pretty good, didn't look like it was in too rough of shape when we yanked her out here.

Here's the situation head, gaskets, toast, pistons rods, you're done block you're done. Everything was pretty much done. The heads were so warped: he had to take 20 thou off the surface of the heads to uh, bring them back into spec, so it'll be flat again. Oh yeah valves, you're done.

Basically, everything done had to do a lot of machining to get everything straight again because of all the temperature that neighbors saw a lot of stuff just warped and uh, not only that we were running just straight up: tap water in it and salt water corroded. A lot of stuff, so he basically said: let me give you this engine back, run it and when it breaks, throw it in the dumpster, because it is not savable after this point, but we got some fresh chains. We got a bunch of good stuff. L m engines, as you guys know, built it before, and it lasted two freaking years and l m engines is who fixed it again, yeah for him to say what was wrong with it and as good as it ran up into that point.

I'm surprised nothing yeah. It owed us nothing now refreshed. You owe us something again, brother you're done so here's the deal we're slapping this sucker back in neighbor, but we are putting neighbor on methanol to try and keep this engine cool instead of just overheating, it shutting it off and then hoping it runs again next time Which worked out pretty good for a couple years, working our favor for many many times yeah, but now on methanol. Theoretically, you should stay nice and cool and that'll be great, so we're hoping to get that dialed in james has already knocked out a bunch of stuff.

You can see, look at that we're paneled up dude, no air conditioning, none yeah. We had it working the first time we put it together yeah. I forget why, but we cut one of the ac lines in a pinch. Yeah cut it ever since then, and that was like weeks after we first finished it.

So this time i figured let's just get rid of it, it's in the way, yeah and went ahead and sealed your firewall up. So now it's looking good looking real good, plus we're doing a transmission tunnel right. Yeah it'll have a nice fr rated flame, uh flame resistant. You know fr rated chip boot around the shifter, now yeah seal, the driving compartment.

We did have a lot of tire fires with this yeah, so with methanol we want to be a little more careful methanol. We don't want to have to worry and depend on the luck aspect of the tire fire, so we're just going to seal the you know. We did the firewall in the back yeah. Now we have the firewall in the front and that was shifted.

You know shift food sealed up, yep we're getting it all sealed up so and then we got to redo the cooling system, so this radiator is shot just from having salt water in it and itself bringing a new radiator we're gon na put a reservoir up high. We think that a lot of times the engine wasn't actually fully filled with water, so we're just going to improve on a lot of the situations we got going on with paper. It'll help a lot before you know it. This thing will be back up and going and a lot more reliable, but also it'll.

Last longer, you know two years is a long time, but it should last even longer yeah. You know when we first built this car, it was still a multi-purpose. You know tree drag street, they had to do everything now, it's you know dedicated solely to doing burnouts and some drifting yeah and now, after you know, four years of doing burnouts, we know what it needs to be. The best burnout can be so now we can make it there plus we had the angle kit show up.

I would like to probably put a new rear end in there. I think that one has some taxes. We can definitely attend. To that i mean it's.

I think so it does have a lot of play in it hasn't gave up on us yet, but we can definitely it's due. Let's do a fresh one, we're gon na get some coilovers for it, and this sucker will be ready to go and over here we're going back together, yeah about ready to heat cycle. This puppy yep we'll be able to heat cycle it and then take it all back apart yeah we got to put our new throttle body on we're just changing this out for one of the updated motion resource throttle bodies so a little different than our og one Yeah bolts won't be coming out of this one yeah not possible, not possible, but we got a heat cycle. As you guys know, you got ta heat cycle this engine and then re-torque the heads with this type of head gasket that we're using so once that is done.

Mullet will be ready to run. Some more sixes sounds like we're. Taking this thing out to ls fest west, so we got ta get her dialed that looks so nice and like not corroded yeah. She knew she knew careful now careful now the valve covers are cleaned up.

I'd, say it's up in there now yeah! Oh, i just dumped out of his skin wiggling yeah. The heads on this thing are so big man. I forgot about that. Look at all that room yeah, so listen guys, even though you know we've had these stock manifolds on here forever.

We were thinking about putting some long tubes on it, but we can't turn the power up, because now it doesn't have as good of engine components. You know what i'm saying: it's got to stay right where it's at about a thousand can't wait to dyno. It's still a crown victoria yeah y'all. We got that fancy new core thick boy corn.

There got this. How bad was the old unit? Oh, was it it wasn't uh too bad. It was good, that's sick, so we can tension it right. There yeah, oh frick, see something about this.

That does not appear as though it will work. Beef dog on there. Look at that sucker is that right, oh yeah, because you actually just that looks pretty good god dang brand new shined up all this stuff looks so good. Got that lower brick all cleaned up too.

Look at all this room! Well, yeah, the cowling! I got rid of all the cowling and windshield wiper stuff. We don't need you ever heard about windshield wipers. Well, yeah! I don't need those where we're going. I guess not rain x.

That thing we're good. We got sam on a buffer, we're solid new piston new piston goofing come dude. This is you kill everyone. There you go dude hell, yeah yeah, that one's not adjusted all right fire me up son.

Now we take it apart. Torque it up put it back together. Yeah you're gon na do a full heat cycle, though tomorrow, okay, so yeah we'll run it for like 10 15 minutes tomorrow. Let the water just bake in that thing and then re-torque the heads that seemed to work really good for tx 2k.

We had like no cooling pressure, 12 psi we're at 40 pounds of boost. I mean yeah dialed in so mullen's, going back together, neighbors going back together and we have andy from motion.
