Pulling into the Freedom Factory As you can see so already kind of Stormy around here, the place is pretty cleaned up now. We're kind of ready for this after last year's deal we're Freedom Factory got nailed by the hurricane.

Keep things a little bit cleaner around here. We definitely have a couple things to do, like these trash cans gotta get put away or they'll be gone. We're expecting 115 mile an hour winds. The hurricane we had last fall was 150 and 160 mile an hour winds.

This is 115 so it's a little bit better, but we still have to batten down the hatches make sure everything's good to go. all these. Crown Vics Luckily will be on the road with us on our way to Bristol So all of our valuable vehicles for the most part besides the drag cars will be with us in. Bristol A lot of our convicts are already on their way to Bristol We have some left here to finish, but we gotta.

We got most of them on their way already so you know we've just been working hard. Brought the engine stand over. We're gonna swap the motor in one of these. Mr George What are you doing? Uh, putting the seat back in here? I'll put the seat in.

Oh, check out the containment seats guys! So we have full containment seats for Bristol It's loose right now, not bolted in. don't think that's how it's mounted. These puppies have back supports. We got a lot of turkey seats to make all this happen so that's looking down.

We got Jh's car right here, getting ready to do an engine swap here in a few. It is absolute chaos right now guys. George Is a chaos. Dude, The chaos.

It's chaos. It's worth it. Fresh nittos, You know the deal. I Know that a lot of these pay-per-views look, you know, pretty simple, but all the guys go so hard.

a couple weeks before any of the pay-per-views let alone Bristol which is 30 Crown Vics to race plus four backup Cars Plus Tour of Destruction cars and we had to add racing seats to all of them which meant all new seat brackets, back braces. We do nitrous kids cages and 10 more cars because of the additional cars for Bristol So the guys have been hustling. Shout out to the team for just freaking going hard making it happen. and they're doing hurricane prep on top of all this now.

So it is absolute chaos. But let's head back to the shop because we gotta test Corn Cob again. Make sure it's dialed in. All right guys.

Test Number Two of Corn Cob. We lost the pulley last time. We're not gonna do that again. Let's see if this thing can do a sizable burnout.

We got fresh tires on it. We don't want to blow them, but we got to make sure it's good for at least 20 seconds or so. You know what I mean oh that sucker is Bill it Bill and aluminum. nicest part of this engine.

Oh Nimble little clip I Don't know what the hell that noise was that sniper getting locked and loaded babe thank you. A little bit of water, foreign dude, that baby turn some RPMs Okay, it's definitely running really rich at Idle. We have to fix that. Other than that, it's running fantastic.

It sounds so clean in the burnout. So good it has enough power to run third gear, baby. You know the deal. Yeah, she was singing out there.

yeah I'm gonna look into changing just the fuel map a little bit. dude. how many RPMs does that baby turn when you're revving it? Don't know. It doesn't have real life.

It sounded good. Yeah, that's it dude. What a nice piece of equipment. I Told you man that sniper was getting locked and loaded in there.

It said ciao, No more smoke, needs just a little bit of throttle blade. It'll be good. but I Just leaned out in literally four seconds. Sniper: EFI is the real deal.

Well, the boys have this thing looking pretty good, minus the fact that there's no headers so that falls on me unfortunately. I Get to make another set of headers. So I'm going to start the driver's side because that is the hard side to get everything through. That's the side with all the fitment issues, steering rack, and the shaft for it right down there.

That's the culprit. I Gotta sneak past that. This side's wide open though. I've got tons of room to throw a header down this side, All right.

So I got the flange on there and right away you can see some of the uh, difficulties we're going to be having this: Gap looks big on camera, but it's really not that big as much as I would love to. Time Lapse this I can't really get a good camera angle where you can see what's going on all the way up there. so I'm gonna get this side jammed out real quick and then once it's off the car I will time lapse breaking it down and Welding it up and sticking it all back together. All right.

Well I don't know how I I did it, but I did it. We have all four primaries in there, everything's lining up good, they're all nice and flush inside that so I can put our spike in there. We do have plenty of clearance. it looks tight and that's because it is tight, but everything clears these Z-bar style uh, rack deals are kind of funky.

It actually moves a lot so we had to, uh, do some crazy stuff to make it clear all that. but luckily I didn't have to go around this side of the steering column and rack and all that stuff so that's really good. That means that this header will be a little bit easier to sneak in and out of there. Now this side.

I'm going to do generally about the same way: I'm going to start at the rear primary and work my way forward that way I Know I have clearances on everything. The driver side header is all tacked up and stuffed away nice and neat in there. Got the passenger side stuffed in there too. so we're gonna pull these, weld them up, and shove them back in the car and then we have a whole exhaust we have to make foreign foreign because it's just such a classy piece of machinery and it's the only thing that fits.

All right guys, You know when you're plugged in, some action's about to happen. Neighbor is really close to firing up so we just send the tune off to Dr tune them all to switch it up, turn around to Coyote which won't be a ton different because Zach did all the wiring. But really, you know the engine and fueling is going to be about the same similar sized engine lower stick shift. I Mean there shouldn't be too much to do now.

One thing we had to do the Neighbor to get this engine to work was build a custom set of headers which are boy. Tai Just finished up. Let's check these things out. Dude there they are nice.

That's the steering column saver. Nine thousand Yeah, dude. that's beautiful. You have put a lot of custom headers together since you started working here.

we have. It's really yeah. It's becoming a thing that whenever we build something, it's just going to get a customer. Yeah dude, it's so much better.

I Guess when you know it's gonna fit because you made it instead of on it and you hope it fits, It really just fits 10 times better. So we bought some headers and they just wouldn't fit in here. Ty builds them and then you have inches of clearance. It makes everything so much better.

We got James up here just finishing up some coolant lines and a power steering line. That's it. Dang nice dude. we're really close.

I Accidentally just primed the fuel system that seems to be good. Sounded dry but nothing went fly at all. It picked something up. it had some pressure at the end there so battery was real low but we might have some fuel pressure.

Oh I Hear the fans running right now. That's not helping us. We're gonna get those fans shut off. We got to get this thing on the charger.

We're gonna update it. We'll get the tune back shortly and hopefully we can fire it up. It looks so modern in there. You know the old engine is kind of much taller this way that way this way.

remember the old blower kind of fit this build. This looks like modern. This looks brand new. dude.

Interesting. but I mean if you're if it's that good with the cars and still I'm sure moving, it's pretty so what we can do is after Bristol we can get a second to apply them together in the trunk yeah and then tuck that up to it. It's pretty cool. It'll be nice.

Oh yeah, you don't have to run the engine to push it. Sweet dude. neighbors poor engine just sitting here having to watch all this greatness happen. Just finish up the exhaust and we have a tune from Dr to them all.

So guys about trying to fire this thing up. Throttle cable, headers getting tightened, water going in the motor. Oh we got some bubbles. We got some bubbles.

What you got there Bud, You know, some heat exchanger water for the blower. She holds a lot. Yeah the more than I thought it would be, people are nice and cool. So this whole supercharger is full of water now.

Yeah, that's a lot of line technically. you can start right now right? Easy one. I Got one more header bolt to go down there in here clutch too. but that's the least of our work.

we gotta get Bristol we don't need a clutch, he's got power bud. I Gotta go up, bleed the clutch real quick and then fire in the hole and then burn out. Then we do a huge burnout. No tune.

Unfortunately, he's not here. We might just have to take you to Bristol like this and have him figure it out in the parking lot because I don't know what else we can do. We got the hurricane coming tomorrow or we Dino it. but I don't know what we're gonna do so we're gonna make some calls.

We got the car running. we gotta look everything over. It's got oil pressure it runs. it sounds good so we'll update you when we know what we're gonna do.
