Yes, oh my god all right well, who did it better c7 or neighbor hell yeah brother you're on the please confront youtube channel all right guys! Well, this is it. This is the last of the stack, and one of these is already accounted for from yesterday. All right, we got justin r from dartmouth, oh canada, that's another canadian winner dude. What do you know and he's getting the precision turf ski in today's video? And then we have one more of george's amazon junk turbos right here and it is going to melissa b of viper kentucky wow.

Well, there's viper kentucky i like that: a girl, one it's more of a memorabilia piece and then uh the other guy can enjoy his actual precision. Turkey, three laps guys. You know the deal with policemen.com, let's get to the live action. Well, it's a big buenos dias out here today, ty's finishing up some headers, which you're pretty much fully mocked up, huh yeah they're fully packed.

Are you gon na mount the turbo? Today? Oh yeah? Oh nice, we got turbos going on today, cool i'm finishing this fuel rail zach's out here, carbon dooring. It up you gon na, be done with these today, buddy yeah, oh yeah, you're, like done done yeah. The only thing we got ta do is make our driver window see if we can get it to come up a little better. Okay, this one! Well, you got ta, try this one too huh yeah.

This really is the main thing unless it stops in this door. Put it back on the car, the window is pretty good and uh. That's gon na be the next hard thing i'll do. The mirrors dude gon na need those where we're going all right.

So we are gon na cut this door up and get all the pieces out of this one. Stick them in this one. We got a lot to cut. So what i went ahead and did is just so.

I don't get confused and cut and drill the wrong holes. Is i marked everything out with a paint marker, all the big obvious stuff and then, as i get closer and closer, i'm going to pull this thing apart, part by part and transfer one at a time. This is the driver's door, so once we're done with this, i will loosely mount the hinges on this side and we'll stick it on the car and we will go ahead and make sure it all fits all right. We got a lot of our holes trimmed out here.

So now it's actually time to go back to the car and take the door off. You can see it's still on over there and we've got that door out completely mount up our hinges and our stop will fit the door to the car first and then i'll start making some backing plates. As you can see the first door yesterday, i made some backing plates to put in here. Just to kind of you see it in there sandwich just to make it a little stronger, so we'll go ahead and uh get that door ripped off start getting the latches put on, hang it align it get the door power window assembly and uh.

We should be looking good. The hinges go right here, but we can't just put the hinges on because there's not enough support here, so we actually have to put a plate in here i'll use an aluminum plate. You know 80 wall and luckily i have my template from the first door. So we'll just go ahead and cut out a piece just like that slip it in from the back side right here and we'll mark our holes for the hinges and then we'll put our striker in and go ahead and line the door up on the car.
So hmm foreign foreign, oh girl, don't got that door hung up on there yeah a little bit still yeah wow. That fits pretty good, though dang. That's crazy! That's a big difference! Wow slam that door! Damn boy yeah, let me go, feel the whole door. That's so funny all right, so this is the exact finished and done door for the most part right for the most part brackets to make popper open there and the windows nice and tight in there.

Now this is that kind of custom built little l bracket. It's riveted in right now, but we're gon na panel bond it make it a clean flush. Look all right all said and done no paint and some stickers so we'll count that as the paint weight 41 pounds, so we gained 41 pounds per side which we desperately needed. This thing was going to be 3, 700 plus pounds.

We didn't do this all right. That's not ideal. I was hoping to save more, but with the glass we can always switch to light sand down the road, but our classes call for oem safety glass. Hopefully they don't give us crap for having carbon doors.

We better get these painted asap from the inner street. Oh, i think, with our youtube channel that might be kind of tough. No one tell anyone alright, guys, hmm, all right guys! Inner fuel system is completely done see. Now we have both connections off the back to clear the distributor, getting ready to put this back on.

It's waiting for zach to switch out some of the pins on the wiring harness for the injectors. Then we're gon na put the harness on the bottom, zip tie. It up pop it back on sam's cleaning up our head surface here, so we can get a nice seal, we're probably gon na clean the intake here too, and then put it back on check out what a tight fit. This is that's why we had to pull this off.

There's probably one millimeter clearance, all said and done, but it's all in there. It's really nice and tight. Those injectors are not going anywhere so, like i said, we'll put the harness on zip tie it down here. It'll be super clean and ready to go back on here in a minute.

We'll get these cleaned up in the meantime, put the o-rings back in and let it rip all righty guys check it out. Carbon doors are done. Look at that freaking zach did a great job and i'll give it to you guys. I do like the look of the exposed carbon.

A lot of people were like, don't paint, it don't paint it, but i think the idea we're gon na go with which was in the comments, is putting like either the motion, racex logo or our logo on the door and then painting over it and then peeling. It off so there's exposed carbon of our logo, which would be really sick, but they turned out freaking awesome. Look at how tight zach got the window freaking it's like oem, close is perfect. Body lines are perfect.
They are all done pretty intense process. To put these on, but they are incredibly light, we're pretty pumped about it snatch the door right off if you unplug it we're going to get these mounts for the uh trailer. So before you go on the trailer, you just take the doors off, hang them on the wall, then you can hop in and out of the car easily when it's in the trailer. So guys.

Just so, you know we're trying to pump out the the rest of the month of freedom. It's it's definitely wearing down on everybody. You guys came in on saturday to bust out today's video, i'm uh gathering up what i got for the next couple days, but it's like everyone's a little wore out we're getting through it. We hope you guys enjoy it, but that's it for now.

Thanks for watching see you later bye.

Neighbor wins in both sound and smoke. I love the idea, paint over the logoโ€™s on doors and remove, to expose the carbon. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Neighbor did it better, but only because it was purpose built for you to be a little more wreck less with it. Let's be honest if the c7 had bash bars and was purpose built for burnouts and skids you would of ripped it alot harder than what you did…

I did it better in my golf cart full of beer, mnt. Dew, and freedom hamsters.

Pro tip, let those doors bake in the sun for a month before you prep and paint them. That'll help to ensure the resin has fully cured and shrunken. If you don't it's liable to continue to shrink into the carbon fabric and the weave will be prominent in the paint. It's likely you'll see the weave anyways, but letting them bake before sanding them will help mitigate it.

So having seen some doors fly off on 1320 channel recently, how are those front hinges secured so the door can't lift off at 200mph? Think extreme pressure and a bump..

What does he mean a little worn out? You can't build up, run, and maintain a racetrack, multiple race cars, shop, and YT videos everyday? Kidding, you guys are crushing it!!! And as a local couldn't be happier you are doing it here ๐Ÿ™‚

Don't forget to add drain holes in the bottom of your carbon doors.
