Hey guys, today's video is sponsored by Raycon. You probably barely noticed I'm wearing a set of Raycons right now. Not only are they discreet, can barely see them, they're comfortable and they won't fall out of your head no matter how hard you shake your head. You could probably make a drag racing past these puppies in your ears.

So I'll pop them out and toss them into their magnetic charging and protection case. right here. You see that Boom, You pop them in there and it charges them. Yeah! Eight hours of Play Time A total of 32 hours of battery life on these Raycons.

These puppies are perfect for everyday use. You can make calls, listen to your favorite music, they block out noise, and listen guys. Raycons cost half of the other leading products on the market, and they sound just as good. These things sound amazing right out of the box.

They come with several different sizes of gel tips. They can fit pretty much any ear hole and they're sweat and water resistant for that occasional I left them in my pocket, they went through the washing machine or you drop them in the pool. Not only do Raycons sound awesome, but they're pretty dang tough. No wonder they have over 50 000 five-star reviews.

That's a lot of dang five star use. They're easy to pair, the list goes on. and guys, you can try out a pair of Raycons yourself on your first purchase. Get 15 off using my link which is Byracon.com Cletus McFarland These things are so good at blocking noise.

I Got to come out in the shop and yell Ty's name freaking 46 times before he'll hear me. and he's got a loud job. They can really block out some noise. They're already a great price.

15 off guys. Click the link in the description below. Thanks to Raycon for sponsoring today's video. Let's get to the live action.

Hell yeah, brother, you're on the please confirm YouTube channel. All right guys! Today we're going to pick up the toter home from Lakeland actually north of Lakeland Florida would normally be an hour and a half drive. We got a 35 minute flight ahead of us because we're gonna take the Cub and land at Mike's house the owner of Right Trailers. So instead of driving an hour and a half in a truck to drop Zach off for taking the cup 35 minutes and we're gonna burn three gallons of fuel.

And then part of Aviation is disregarding all other expenses and just bragging about the fact that you're only gonna earn three gallons of fuel. So don't worry about all the other costs that go with owning an airplane. We're only talking about the three gallons of fuel. Let's hit it.

If you guys look right here, see this quarter turn valve. This is the parking brake. So you just turn that off and now the brakes are released on both sides and this is the co-pilot pedals Right here. The top is actually the brakes and then you push on the bottom for the rudder and then you'll see up here.

those are mine up in the front so show them the rudder. I'll push on that if I push that right pedal in, see the rudder move. So now the brakes are off. See just how light this plane is and it just moves that easy downhill too.
Yeah, it's so light, let's move it right around. and then when we're controlling the trim, it actually moves the flight control up and down here in the front of the elevator. Depending on how the plane is loaded, you know you might have to hold it, stick forward the whole flight or slightly back from its resting position. So on all airplanes primarily I think all of them probably 99.

There's either a trim wheel or some way to trim the elevator. This, we just have a switch whole flight control. so then when you're cruising along, instead of having to hold this in a certain position, you can trim it and then you can pretty much let go of it and it'll fly straight and level if you do it right. Thing practically flies itself.

Yeah, we're just trying to give you a little bit of Aviation info every video. you know. Not going to slam it all on you guys at once, but eventually you'll all be Pilots So I'll get you dialed in all right, so we'll just let it warm up now. and then we'll do a Magneto check and we'll be on our way.

And then once we fly out, we're gonna make a left turn over the lake and head north. I Think this is the only thing I own that I Let properly warm up, just roll her up to full throttle, push forward till we feel that tail come up and then I'll verbally say rotate and when I say rotate, you can you know pull slightly back and are you ready? Yep, let's do it. Full Throttle All the way there you go. go ahead and pull back.

rotate. Perfect. Nailed it. Nailed it.

Dude. keep climbing all right. You can use the throttle back a little bit. That's what I was about to go for after takeoff, but I was like that's probably a bad idea.

Look at that dude, you're a freaking you're ready fly so you can kind of have like a North Northeast heading. The real beauty of the Carbon Cub is that you can land it off airport. When I was looking at airplanes to buy for the channel, there's certainly other airplanes I looked at, but none of them can land off airport like the Carbon Cup. So in this scenario where we're going to Mike the owner right trailer's house, he has enough room we can just land at his house versus going to the airport and driving over and so which isn't bad.

But that's the beauty of the Carbon Cup as it goes wherever you want. as long as you got. uh, you know it's nice to have at least 300 feet of space, but really, once you touch down, you know it's under 100 feet before the plane has stopped. We're gonna be going into Mike's house today.

He luckily has an RC airplane little flying field at his house so that's what we're used to be. No problem. And I I do a lot of off airport. Landings Just from you know Learning to Fly helicopters and flying helicopters.
you're constantly off airport. so if you want to do a reconnaissance Circle From up high and look for power lines, trees, obstacles, issues with your approach or you know, if you have to go around you want to eyeball all that stuff. Looks like someone's going to scare the cow off right now. Oh yeah, I See I'm running out there any power lines towards the front of the property? Oh I See the power line follows the fence line.

Okay, yeah, it's totally clear where it will be. Yep, that's the thing with houses in FLorida You know there's a power line somewhere and it's probably not. Underground Oh dude, that's so much smoother. Oh that was a deal.

that's too much room. They could have made it harder for us. I Mean we should have just left the cow there. Yeah, they should have left a couple cows for us.

That was too easy. All righty guys. Well the toters not completely done because some of the parts that we ordered didn't come in the mail. But check this out! We started the process of blacking out the toner so we got some black powder coat on the wheels, some nice black center caps.

Yeah! even got the cameras. Even got the cameras and brand new tires back so you know your steer tires were getting a little wore out. Yeah, we got this all right. Got the dust powder coated fuel cover powder coated dude.

I'm gonna have to keep a Sam's uh spray wax with me. Yeah, yeah, for sure. We got the Mirror covers even awning. So we're just waiting for the grill, which is no big deal.

We'll bring it right back after our Indy and Bristol trip and then while we're doing the awning end cap. But other than that, man, the blacked out killer. These turned out amazing. That was a giant Chrome piece right? There is something we can still replace it.

Okay, good. and the wheels. Yeah, these are three coats of powder with an epoxy bottle behind it. Oh really, three coats of powder here too? Wow.

Stainless steel. Hardware Everything's powder coated on that. They're doing it right. And the back wheels looks big.

I Even saw the handle and the Renegade That's what Renegade should do. Yeah, it looks good. what'd you say? We even got the rain so the toner We dropped it off dirty so don't judge us for having the actual truck is dirty. but look at that.

Wheels Dude. Freaking beautiful. Yeah, even the work lights on the back so she's all blacked out. now.

it'll look a lot better. Towing That blacked out trailer. Oh man. the black on black.

Nice. what? Starter was clean, but damn that was good. All right. just cover up the Chrome Grille We're getting there though.

Oh yeah, see, the original plan was to Black it out like two years ago. Never did it. Damn that looks sick. all right guys.

Zach's heading back to the shop and I'm heading back to the shop. We'll see him there. All right. So I'm on my way home guys.
Stopped at airport Manatee which is just a couple miles from the track. and basically the way this works is you pull into any of these little airports around Florida or anywhere in the US and you walk over here. you swipe your credit card, you pull out this self-serve pump, and you put a grounding strap on your plane and you filled up. This thing holds 24 gallons of fuel.

Not a ton, but it doesn't burn a ton so it's super easy. I'll be fueled up in 10 minutes on my own and then I just turn around and go. All right. So 74 dollars and about five minutes later fueled up and ready to hit the road to get some bathrooms in the vending machine.

Nice long grass Runway Doesn't wear out my tires. We didn't have time to get the trailer fixed, but we got a little something cool about the toter home you're gonna like. Okay, dude. Oh snap, the grill didn't come in yet the parts for the trailer.

but check out the blackout dude. she looks good. Oh yeah it does. Yeah, the trailer's still in disrepair, it's missing an awning and some other stuff, but it'll be ready after.

Andy Will take it in. they only need it for like a week or two and then she'll be dialed back to 100. Oh those Wheels look sick. It looks so cool.

and then you see that side. Don't look at that. We'll blur out that whole side. All right.

Takeover Friday Night So we're loading up. McFlurry We're gonna see if it is upstairs. You got about 18 inches two. Knuckles Yeah, we're That's about how far we are.

so we gotta let the front air out of the tires for sure. there's still my dare in this tire anyway. I I No, no, it's not hitting right now. Oh, we got it.

Hey, what are you worrying about up here driving right? They go right a little. All right. Another word: we're in baby. We're in good luck getting out.

I Just avoid all potholes. Yeah, we're gonna distract them by the body, not not the suspension so that it can't go up and go. Oh hey, that's money. This not so money you're doing great.

Lots of walls. I'll put a scratch on those walls now. Just got this thing back. Dude from detail.

don't let your head scratch the pain. I'll be 31 in two days. Oh God brother, we're gonna need that belt. Yeah, you ain't making a little pressure on this one.

You have to stand here and spin the oil pump. Oh she feels tight no once. I Got oil in there yesterday, then it got really tight. Wow.

fancy. Pretty impressive all right. So we'll slide that on and then we're ready to fire it up. All right brother.

You ready to fire this thing up? Let's do it. Feeling ready? I Gotta say, there's about 54 hoses that give me reasons not to feel ready. There's a lot of hoses. All right, we'll hit the key.

New Motion Race Works Operator shifter in there. You know the deal. Here we go. Sounds cool.

There we go, there we go. biscuits. Oh now that I don't have a oh my arm here I'm gonna sit over here I think your brake clean pool down there. Well yeah, that's why I was going back and forth.
All right. All right. Oh my arm hair. Okay, we got a lot of brake clean in the intake.

Turn it over. turn it over there dude. your eyebrows are going. Yeah, so this one's 75 of the injector right now at idle.

Yeah, that's fine. So we're riding on 20 injectors Exactly. That's why I was doing nothing. and this one is.

This one is what it's cranking on. Is it? Yes, that's the new. Well, that's the injector driver is cranking. Okay, so throw that back in.

Yeah! I don't even know that that injector driver goes to this hole. The wiring guys, man. I Tell you what. I don't know who wrote that.

That's too right. That's too pretty for my writing. Just hit the starter someone wrote that is injectors. Thank you man.

I'm always something I lost my armpit. Oh man. you're never going to believe this. At least.

no leaks, everything's broken in. Now you see this. This is the great relabel of Uh 2023 here. The great reset.

Oh, you're gonna make that right. Pete We figured it out, Brother: where the wrong injector harness plugged into the wrong hole. So we'll be calling you a little bit from the track. All right brother.

All right. thanks. He said that'll do it all right guys. For now, Mullet is done.

We're gonna head to the drag strip and hopefully make a lick before we go all the way to Bristol to race Friday Night at Streetcar Takeover. Wish us luck. We don't make any metal, We make some fast rips, but that's it for now. Thanks for watching new for now.

We'll freaking see you later. Laughs Foreign.

So do you only fly the Carbon cub VFR? Do you ever need to inform ATC of your flight plan or do you pre enter it using foreflight?
