We got ta get the elko out. We got elko testing all right check out this schedule, brother. We got drift, qualifying at noon and we're already dialed for that, then we got the true street meeting where we got ta. Do the street drive and then three passes back to back to back without taking the hood off, and then you got ta win the burnout contest at four alright already done, and then we got ta go uh drift and then the drift competition starts at six.

Assuming we qualify yeah and then they also are doing that quick 16 drag race tonight at the same time and i'm the one with the driver wristband for elko. But if we need to yeah we'll just sneak in there's that guy running full suit up helmet on. Don't worry about it yeah, so we uh. We have a really busy day today and we're gon na try and make it work.

When you want to win something, you usually just do one but we're doing uh everything we can do so. It's gon na be a lot of fun and uh. Let's get after it, take the elko out warm it up. Here we go first run open for, like an 8-2 that'd, be good, so all right, 8.

29 at 176.. I can't believe it's fun guys. I don't know what to tell you, you wouldn't hate too. It's fun like.

I did not think in a million years of that tune up would spin, but it did so. I guess i'll have to bang it down. I don't want it to spin i'd. Rather, just go a to b, the guy next to us is faster than us and he's in our class.

He let out well elco is making 13 pounds of boost when it's spun, so how much i can really do about that. It was pulling 1.7 g's, which is really nothing we're going to loosen the front end. Give it some more travel, try and get it up on the back tire a little bit more and see if it'll go down like that, all right, guys we're heading up for our last hit. We only got two today and uh after this pass, no matter what we have to go on that cruise, that 30 minute cruise and then we got ta, do three hits in a row without pulling the hood.

So i really hope this one goes smoothly. Last thing we need to do is spin again and then have to change the tune. Up again, we ended up pulling a little bit of boost out of the mid-range added a little bit to the lead and then loosen the front end. So it'll kind of rise a little bit more and i hope that's the ticket, so we're pulling back up we'll make this next hit and then hopefully, after that, we'll just be able to go on that cruise no worries and have some fun all right.

So far we got some true street cars showing up turbo camaro box trucks. So pretty good show out hey to be brother. You need to beat us over here: hey the thing, a little better one 819 at 176 and went out there and spawned at about 100 foot, though, so i can't believe it's still spun dude what the heck we got, ta just soften it up a ton. We spun on both tested so now we're going in blind to the actual race.
Great. Are you all right? So 8, 19., 133, 60 foot and that's fine. Well, i picked up to the 60 foot but spun in the same spot. It went yeah out further like right about 100 foot i'll just smooth that area out that, or maybe just like, have like a one degree time and get for two degree time to get right before it spins and bring it back in it'll.

Take the power out. It's crazy, so gentle in the car, it's like yeah and then i can just feel the tires start shaking yeah all right. That's just really! Not all that bare is what we're fighting for it looks so thin. I can see the concrete through it.

So all right! Well, we got ta go hit that drift qualifying. You did good, though, with the hole putting the car where it needed to be. Okay, all right, you can see smooth, smooth, smooth, smooth, smooth and then wrap blew the tires off pedaled it. I guess it is kind of ramping and sort of aggressive, but i mean it's at like 17 pounds, so i'll just chill that area out and then we should be dialed all right.

So we took a little bit of boost out of that range where it's spinning and james packed this thing full of methanol, so that tank is completely full once the hood goes on right now, we can't touch it under the hood again until we make three runs And then they average our three runs together, but right now we got ta go. Do our donnie qualifier, so put the laptop away and go rip it here. We go you're qualified guys come on so the first runs of practice. We have one practice and then two judged runs.

So we we'll just rip off a practice. Real quick then run our two judge runs. We got ta be smooth. We got ta hit these zones, you know those the yellow, cones, that's the most important thing.

So we got to hit our zones right and if we qualify high, then we won't have a really good person off the bat. If we qualify low, then we'll probably have one of the top dogs right off the head. Got it um. Hmm, let's go perfect.

Qualifier dude one more one more, i'm always trying to make you proud. I'm always trying to make you proud is: let's go. Let's go back to drag racing dude just smoked it yeah just nailed it all right. We got all the true street vehicles showing up for this cruise we got ta do i know some car went like an 8-1.

Another one went to 8-3, so we're gon na be right there. In with these guys, that's pretty sick, i'm excited no one can pop their hood. They pop their head. They're done crazy hope we can make it three runs.

Dude there's more cars than i thought, a lot of cars, a lot of them and so we're rolling out of the racetrack yeah dude. I bet you there's 30 some cars in this spot. There's a good fish, pretty surprised. I figured it'd be 16 or something that's getting dark out.
I lost fast west who's coming around. You know you're, starting i'm from florida. I don't know well. This is pretty sick.

Dude fire me up yeah we're just out here in the cave. They know the deal. We love to love, stop and get ourselves a candy bar all right just got off the exit head back to the track, we're good. So far.

So now we got ta sit, wait like 20 minutes and then, while they gather everyone up and then we go, three runs yeah just like that. Those street crews done and the racetrack right there ahead of us. This is number one goldsmith. I got the alcohol up here for round one nice little burnout uh, you guys can see it spun a little bit there, but that's just what we have to deal with with the track being the way it is, but so far it's the fastest car.

That's gone down, not bad, but it didn't spin, damn it well. This point guys i'm not allowed to touch the laptop or anything so i'm just gon na have to manage the spin every run which it's recovering, pretty good, just not ideal. 8, 29 and 180 spawned like here that time not there, so i took power out of there and then it's one here, calculations going on in my head: dude they're just too complicated at this point. We just got ta make it well now we can't use a laptop yeah you're, just gon na keep doing what you're doing you did great.

You picked up some mom and dad all right looks like fast yeah, it's you and then an 877.. All right. We've got to be consistent, then good job. Do it again all right get all your stuff.

Did you do your things? Yeah, i mean good. All right, see you there all right guys so heading into pass. Number two transcends 153 oil, temps, 162, water temps 160.. We had about - i don't know - maybe a little less than 10 minutes of cool down got the shoot, packed and uh ready for number two.

Let's keep it going all right. This will be pass number two for two street class for the elco. Now the only thing that has been done is all he did was pack his parachute drivers got to do everything to make three back-to-back passes so far that person went 829 so we're trying to get as close to 829 as possible and already the fastest in the Class by five tenths and no one will be able to close that gap, so we just got to be as consistent as possible with that 829 pass 880 at 174. So, as you guys saw it spun twice on that pass but ain't nothing.

We could do about that, it spun earlier and he corrected it, but after he corrected it, it went out there and spun again, so it just lost some et that way it is so slippery. That's not good. For our average there boys a double pedal. The starting line is even far worse than the first pass.

All the street tires have taken all the rubber with them 880. Oh man that hurts yeah. So this is the guy that went 877 first pass griffin. Griffin has a car issue.

He can't make a second pass, so that's a guy when 877., so un829 880s just need another. A to b, hey dude! All i really need is, should be in good shape, 902 out 174, a little slower than we were hoping for, but it spawned a few times again on that path. Pretty sure we secured the wind for that, though uh we'll see after everyone makes our passes and go from there. I think we got it.
I think we got it. We definitely slowed down on every run, but i think we won 902. No, there's no way. There's no way that plays in second those three avenues when we got eight two and eight and a nine, so we're probably like an eight seven average, eight six, i don't know somewhere in there, that'll do it boys, the losing streak is over.

I guys probably barely noticed, but we would go to a race and like something would go wrong and we'd end up not finishing and losing it's been happening so much. Lately i've been wanting to go to a race and just finish first and finish the race for a while, and i think we finally just freaking did that dude, which i don't care a lot of times. You know i'm just here to race and have a good time, but i am a competitive guy, so i'm hoping we just got the w we're really hoping the guy double pulled me another lane, i'm like. Are they gon na hold him back? No one did anything about it, so i just pulled in just like.

Sometimes you pull in right away, if someone's been sitting there for a while the red light, you know, i'm like i'm, not getting red led. I went all the way in here's the full start time and we made it off. Dude god dang my heart was beating so bad. I was like don't screw me over like this.

I got the scooter. Let's go this week, let's dude, let's hear it from mullet. Dude, winner of the true street class, come on. We were kinda on a losing streak there for a little while, where we didn't finish any races.

So, oh man, that's a big fire me up all right. This is after uh, three street driving three passes. Three weird passes pedal in it. Oh yeah, let's see, let's see how much we got left, not a ton of time, but you did it.

We did it. That's what matters might not have a lot left, but you had enough. We had enough. I don't think we should do that if that was good prep and it was fully loaded hold past, oh yeah, it might have been, might not have made, it might have been a blessing in disguise, that's fun, listen sam race is over.

You can touch the car now yeah. Now we can touch it, wipe it down. Okay, hey your first win with mcfarland racing thanks for the help brother. Thank you thanks for all the help maddie.

I also want to point out guys that i've been coming this race for three or four years now and the first two years i got disqualified and then last year we blew up the engine and the nova and the clutch and leroy and lost. So it feels good to come all this way and finally catch that w guess what big dog confirmed qualified. Fourth, it drifted. I know, let's go fire me up.

    Mullet does not meet legal standards for a street vehicle, as the state of Nevada requires cars on public roads to have a a muffler. I live here and cannot straight pipe my car cause cops hate that shit. lol

    Just out of curiosity. Seeing as how you have a dual fuel system is there any rule that would prevented you from manually switching to the pump gas tank for the driving in between passes to conserve your methanol? I know Kevin designed your fuel system which automatically. Not sure if you have the ability to manually switch systems on command but I would think so.
