That's what i'm talking about that's my favorite let's go rip some sixes boys. So we're gonna try and uh leave in second gear. Yes okay. You think it'll be faster.
I think it will be especially on 275. We'll be able to like i think won't shock the tire as hard yeah it won't shock the tire. It's gonna be in the converter. A little bit so it'll loosen it up.
I think. The converter is a little tight as is okay so that and being on at 275. Now. We're gonna have less strength.
Yeah. Well. It's gonna think it has a parade back in it similar yeah all right we only have a 140 though so it's going to be tricky. We're gonna have to play with it you have to put a lot of power in it yeah.
We got a lot of power. Now so let's try it all right guys right now. We're gonna try the first ever two step second gear. So two step test second gear.
See how that works holy crap all right she's a little too aggressive on the two step these days. We're gonna try and simmer it down a little bit because it might hurt something doing that but here's try number two yeah. It's all about the spiciness. We need to hop in the hot spice.
But not the super hot spice are you trying to find the fine balance between spicy and not so spicy. Yeah. We were at flaming hot cheetos then we went down to like spicy doritos spicy doritos. We really need like a taco bell crunch house cream with the hot sauce on it not fire sauce hot sauce.
One packet. I'm going for full fire sauce or full too much spice. Too much spice my ears was that not spicy enough. It was getting the spice all right that was like hot sauce.
Why we do these two step tests. Always test your two step folks see how much dialing in we had to do always that's a new step all right we got pass number one second gear leave vicky. It's all in first bathroom. Oh something broke. I heard something flying. Oh man that felt kind of good maybe that second gear. Leave is where it's at something didn't sound right so i just pulled over you want to check if it's leaking real quick. It felt good.
But it shut off on its own so i was um. I don't see a single drop. Okay all right then it should be all right yeah. Damn so i lost the fuel belt for that big fuel stop again.
I'm pretty sure. The mandrel broke off again. No way. Yeah cuz.
I got no fuel bumper alternator. How bad for a first hit on a 275. Oh. What a 464 yeah on a smaller tire in our first ever second gear leave yeah 464 at 152 normally we'd be going what 167 on this combo.
I don't know on this combo starting to wonder. If maybe your uh fuel pump needs to rebuild okay so for that to happen on two passes in a row. All right we must have our uh fuel pump seizing up or something because honestly it was started it was starting to do some weird fuel pressure stuff where it would dip up in the high rpm and then come back. So i wonder if like the fuel pump is just eating itself up and if it does a hard break.
And it just snaps at them well you got one pass on it and that was the fastest eight miles pretty much gone on the bit that's the best eight miles down the big block really yeah. Granted i won't throw kevin under the bus and kevin was on a bad track. I'm gonna say we got a really good track right now such a good track. We could have just there's no way to fix it here guys so you can't just like slap a weld on it and hopefully we gotta take some stuff apart into the bottom of this problem.
That was the fastest 60 foot with the big block fastest 330 fastest eighth and i let out before the eighth. Even damn this is mine right here that's mine yeah thank you what the hell dude. We need to open fbi investigation to figure out what what could have possibly happened here. It's like our uh adjustment rod for the alternator.
Didn't quite have enough threads in it came apart. Maybe that has to do with it you know maybe a little bit. Oh we broke the alternator. The alternator just exploded.
Okay. I wonder how hard it is to spin that i spun the fuel pump by hand alternator's locked up that could definitely do it that's the culprit. There damn that might have dinged something up under my car pretty good jackson looking for that 4 10. In the eighth that would be real nice.
We're gonna go like 300 foot and clip. It off so that i can ah okay don't lift dude. No. It's not good.
I mean. If the air fuel looks good. I don't really want you to look down at that. But it looks good he's got it oh this track is sticky.
Oh wait. Damn he did not lift at the 330. He went a little further in the 330 117. 60.
Foot 315 to 330 476. Today. That's pretty damn good for a first lick new injectors. So it's well yeah. I told him to go 300 foot and shut it off. He went a little further fuel muscle looked good yeah. He went a little further. Did you forget where the 330 cone is it felt good so i stayed in there.
I said well the air fuel muscle looked good yeah. It felt good looked good. It was vibing going into like about 500 foot. It's a little bit of red.
But it was just rpm not bad all right so we're back up here getting strapped in we're going to make another rip tuna ball added some fuel to the map fatten her up a little bit and then uh spiced it up some so we'll see what she does hey dude burn out i always just end. The peer pressure. Yeah. Brother bro.
I think swervy 116. 60. 307. 330.
465. And 155. No more boost than what i had before just. Refined.
It a little bit yeah. I gave it a little bit early. But clearly we can hit it a lot harder out here definitely was dancing around a little bit. But felt good felt stable.
It felt a lot cleaner than that first pass hopefully it went faster. I did stay in it the whole eighth. I'm gonna put. I'm gonna put the other yeah sketch it looks fast.
Though i mean it freaking ate a beat pretty good it went faster. I only picked up one number went 116 to the 60 foot. But went 307 to the three thirds what's the spicy nacho rampant. I'm called you right now all right burn out get them every time.

So. Lieutenant dan just squeezed out a 109 60 foot on that spicy spicy ramp. They had put in there uh. He said the same thing i did oops we should have tightened up the suspension.
We made some suspension changes kept the same tune up see what she does all right last bath of the night. Oh man yeah. He was getting it what was it dude look what it went to the 330. Though dang.

When he had 295 in the 330s. Absolutely right gotcha 330 record 295 killing. When it came down and settled. I want to go pull it back and it just scrubbed.

That mandrel design doesn't look inherently strong, it's only supported on the back and the belt is so far away. Just spit balling but is it possible to fab up a support bracket for the front?
