It's the last day of midwest drag week. We are leading the event right now fastest car overall on the property and uh we got ta make it to the track. Today make two hits and if all goes well, we could uh be leaving with some trophies tonight. Boy are we getting good at that there him? You got throttle duty sure do yesterday morning.
Had us a little worried about this morning. Kicked up on ollie turbos are just waking up. They're waking up well this. Is it guys one mile to go? We are back at headwater for the last day, one mile, i think we got it.
I think we're gon na make it well kev. I don't know if we're gon na start racing on time with this fog, yeah, that's a little scary. Well, we made the edgewater, but man is super foggy wow. That's some thick stuff! Look at that fog! Man probably can't even see the end of the drag strip dude.
You can't even see the 330 cone. Oh, you can barely see it. Oh my god! Nutty we got gary the golden over here, living it up, eating some fruit loops. That's how you know it's gon na be a good day, all right, so guys.
I see your comments about putting my face mask down the problem. Is it's been so humid that it fogs up instantly and it's like? Would i rather be able to see i'm going 200 or have it down, but uh? We got some anti-fog and it appears to be working so chewy. They are prepping that thing all right, guys. Edgewater is definitely going all out on their prep.
This time we might be able to go another six today, that'd be pretty sweet. I'm gon na go off the week with a pair of sixes. Let's leave a spicy tune up in it yeah. I went up a little bit instead of down hey all right.

I think it uh shifted early like it accidentally made. The 2-3 early or something well check that out but hey it went down yeah. It's like the car left and said. Am i left in? Second? I don't know i look down.
No, i don't work. That's okay, though, because our average is so far ahead of the rest that uh we just need another good, seven second rip and we will secure a w. So i thought maybe a boost cut or something, but no, i i feel like it. No, it still went one night or something it felt like it shifted earlier or something one.
Seventeen sixty oh, was it a one, seventeen sixty, but they said wow one, seventeen sixty foot, oh brother, we goofed whoops, guys. We did not check the transmission fluid and it is low and it it uh slipped the transmission. Well, it didn't slip it bad, but like it didn't firm shift. Nothing like that.
We just pulled the dipstick out of it with it running and uh. It was pretty much dry, which you can have the best transmission in the world, but if you don't run transmission fluid in it, it ain't gon na work. So hopefully we didn't hurt it we're gon na top it off right now, dang it. That was an idiot move. Big idiot move, crap feel so dumb. Why didn't i check that? Well, let me learn. Hopefully it's okay. All right, i called eminem told them what we did.
They said that typically, not that big of a deal should be okay, but we'll know if it's not and the way they're set up is when they're low, they kind of start the converter, rather than the the transmission itself, and so you'll get some slip. But the trans should be all right and the fluid doesn't smell burnt, so i think we might be. We may have just barely gotten by on that. Well we're doing a really good job teaching people what not to do with their own race.
I know i know well, we had a really good 60, but that was going to be a freaking. Was gon na go awesome? Well, it's got a fresh gallon of fluid in it now hundred dollar bottle of fluid wherever that thing is yeah hundred dollars. For that, so let's hope it works. Now that burnout thing was weird.
Trash control is like no no burnouts yeah. I'm not sure why so the traction control is not supposed to activate until it's in the boost time yeah. So i don't know. Why did you floor? It baby yeah cause.
I was trying to get it to go. Okay, so maybe that's what it did, because when you floor it it can start yeah. We got our fix boys, hopefully we'll uh. Let her cool off and try again here: hey guys.
Transmotion has topped off; let's hope it holds. We don't know if it don't. This will be a testament to the build quality which we know is pretty good. So you know policeman crawling parts testing.
You got a part, you need broken, send it to us all right here we go ah 205.. These short shutdowns are crazy. On that note, we just won overall fastest car on the entire property at midwest drag week, 100 security with that pass no way, dude slapped her together in two weeks shout out to the boys at the shop crawling racing. I love you guys thanks for giving me such a good hot rod.
Shots kevin too. We just won midwest drags, not only won our class unlimited fastest car on the property in the whole event. Good, i think it's fine and she's still got ta compress. That's the best part when you hit that key and it still has compression that's just a great feeling.
Now steve morris, dude mother, took a beating this week and she's dialed got a lot more ahead of it. You know guys this was literally like testing, because all it leads to rocky mountain race week in three or four days, which is way more miles harder tracks. It's got a brutal brutal week ahead of it. So to get those two passes off feels really good.
Hopefully the trans is good. Let's see what we ran. Definitely got ta flush, the brake fluid. I tore up the brake fluid pretty good. Stopping the car yesterday, definitely hotter out today, too 706 205 baby, oh man, i slowed down so much 60 foot. I went to 124 to win the 117 it did before it would have been another six now, whatever we'll take it, we secured our w and that's what we came here to do, man, what an awesome tune up that is, it's so smooth in here dude. It lost a little bit of mile per hour, so it might be just the weather. I kind of thought that too, but i mean for it to pick up seven to sixty foot.
It should have gone at least a ninety flat. Oh no, it went at one. Twenty four six, oh so it was weak again. It felt like it shifted, yeah, okay, 467 and 163 yeah.
So it's just last couple mile an let's go yeah good job on the left, yeah man. Thank you. Buddy all right! There's a big hill yeah brother! Well, big shout out to edgewater: they really brought the prep around today. I wish we could have used more of it, but uh.
We got our numbers so for the first time ever we're finishing the fastest turning them in buddy. Look at this guys, our parachute mount, which is also our hitch mount for the trailer, is about ready to rip off. It's got a lot of wiggle in it. Just with my foot.
Look at that yeah, so we got weld that off. It might have ripped right off if we did another run. I don't know the crack under. There is pretty bad what you know about that driving in a trailer after even testing tunes are great to be able to drive the car in and out of the trailer but a week-long event, 200 mile, an hour average.
How many street miles. I don't even know. Oh man, freaking, hey, let's go to this awards ceremony, dang stock marauder, how you guys doing good job. I freaking see you how's the car.
Okay, i have seen it like all over you guys putting miles on it right i mean yeah yeah i mean we came down to clean up some cars indy yeah. Now this was a four hour trip now and i've been seeing. You drag racing it and we drive it to the track every time, so we're driving it to the track. That's amazing any major issues or i think the turbo got, hurt yeah, it's a turbo dying.
That's your turbo! Oh! It's! Not! No! That's his that i bought for his first, our first christmas together yeah. I remember you telling me that we're gon na take the one that was originally on it to precision because they're right there by us, we can yeah, there's no blowoff valve in this system, so it makes that cool two to two, but they might not survive as Long so have you guys had any other engine issues or anything? No, we changed. That's awesome that was about it and did doctor tune them all turn it up. A little bit.
Yeah yeah what'd, you run at the drag strip uh the fastest et we've had was 11.3, but i have the fastest mile per hour at 130.. Oh dang, a hard tire too yeah. That's true! Look at you drag racer, i'm so happy to see this sam would have loved it. You got tire dressing on there, yeah yeah, that's amazing, guys. Stock marauder out here, just ripping out dropped her check that hold that up for a sec. Look at that dude. Unlimited brother number one love it dude. Thank you for doing such an awesome job.
