Zach you're feeling like a six second guy figured we'd uh, make sure everything's set right before we do a six second run. Yeah, you know it wouldn't hurt to double check everything. so the transmission slid back a little bit. Zach's making some adjustments. Looks like our input shaft is still straight, which is good. Driveshaft too. Yeah, driveshaft's killing it. Fire me up! I am excited. You think this thing can go six? It's gonna go 7 30 again. first pass and then I'm gonna tell you, don't be scared, turn it up, turn it up 694. you think we leave what's in it and do the first run? You just put that 7 30, tune up back in it and go. I'll see if I had some before then. Oh well, you got to make sure it can duplicate what it did. You always want to start off? well, you left off. Remember how I was saying like in third gear is D cell or anything I figured that issue out I think with the Boost controller. so I'm gonna at least change that. You can change that and then the second Passover takes just turn it up I say we just skipped the 20s and the teams. oh we're going straight to it. Come on. Hey Listen I'm ready I'm ready guys. since we're on the lift show the people what fixed the bounce because in the video this thing was so smooth. Yeah no bouncing down track. it's crazy. So we fought this with Leroy's old suspension. remember we couldn't get it to hook and it was just bound up and we degrease some fittings. Yeah good to go. Same thing with down on here. this Wishbone is like your track bar I guess keeps everything this was just binding inside from not being greased. I made the personal mistake of thinking that it was uh a like carbon impregnated or graphite impregnated uh carbon in there. That's how someone come. Yeah, so it's not. So we greased it and look at that. that's so crazy. So even in Orlando like when I was telling you guys, oh, it's bouncing, it's bouncing. We managed to go down yeah and you know Towing the car all the way to Maryland and stuff. It probably was bouncing the trailer and just made this a whole lot worse. So then when we got to World Cup The car would do nothing. Yeah, it was basically trying to weld itself together inside. that too and this aluminum inside. When I had pulled it out, it was polished like it looked like Chrome where they were rubbing. Yeah and I think it had just friction polished itself like tight into. yeah. Okay so I spun it in the lathe and greased it and good to go. Now here we are just ripping off 7 31 One's like it's nothing looking pretty good. Just got to get this clutch lined up, put the transmission back forward and we'll be on our way guys. I Feel like there's a serious chance that today we will? Pioneer The first stick shift LS Into the Sixes. Oh, we're going sixes. Oh, we're definitely going. We're going sixes. No. LS stick shift has been in the 60s before Coyote Really? I mean think about it. I am trying to think about it. I think 707 is the fastest ever in an LS that was a Billet LS so we could do it. We could be the first in the sixes. Break a record today. I mean plus it's obviously a Corvette so we're going for that Corvette record to 707. I'm sure glad to have a another second hand here to look at the tune-ups on this thing. Keep pushing the motor a little bit to do this. but I bet we could go extensions at that same mile an hour? Oh yeah, 188th enough to go at six? Oh yeah, you know the last of them. 731 It kind of ran out of boost in third gear. kind of dropped. Weird deal. Nate thinks that we put a half turn of bass pressure in the clutch so it should launch faster. We went 112 112. It very well may go a 109 108 today. so which none of the cars have ever done. The fastest 64 we've ever had for any of the cars in Mcfron Racing is 111. So until today Leroy 2.0 So the Pioneer into one O is for us on a 275 small Tire God that's the theory. So we got a little bit of boost a little bit more aggressive on the clutch tune. This could be good right here so this might blow the rag out of your pocket Dude I know dude wiping her down into fast mode seeing some Earl So I just scouted out. so I'm not. Yeah, All right. Leroy The Savage Baby testing and tuning Looking for a deep seven here? Fire me up! Leroy Oh 7 25 at 187.
dude it's going so fast Play Ride First run like a Savage I saw 111 60 foot up on the scoreboard. Whoa! Holy crap this car is working guys Geez Louise All right I felt a little jiggle I think on the 2-3 shift like it tried to get the tire off when I made that shift like I tried to break loose but powered through. it did not lift Leroy kept on going. It did the same thing in third gear though where it kind of felt like it was falling on its face in third and I just pulled forth again early so we got to figure out why it's falling on its face in third gear. but damn what a spicy rip! I bet that was faster than that. 731 I guarantee you God Dang Oh Lee dude, what the hell faster Bud try again. Yeah, usually you say that when I did go faster 7 25. in the seven twos Okay, you went quicker, but not faster. You're down a mile an hour. Ah I see 187. I Feel like that's enough mile per hour? close for Leroy to go to Six. Oh, it's gonna get short track the heck out of this thing 304 to the 330. 111 60 foot 304 to 330 465 at 151. It did the same thing in third where it kind of like like feels like a decelerating. So I done yanked it to Fourth 465 at 151.

shoes Buddy Freaking Insane Leroy First Rib Just dude. this thing will Gap Ruby I Know all right boys, you know down through there first gear we talking about 20 pounds of boost nowadays. Second gear: 29 pounds of boost. second year was ripping. felt a little tire slip right here on the 2-3 item. pretty sure that's where it was. Third gear: 27 pounds and then it kind of tapered down 26 ish. Fourth gear run about 27 out of the back so we're leaning on it a little bit more now. but I think we got enough to make it. What we need is this amount of boost is 30 right here I need it right here top of first gear. We're actually going to add a little bit of weight on the clutch too, because it seems like now that we're running these big Power numbers, it might be slipping a little bit so we're just gonna throw some weight on it now before we end up frying our clutch. Alrighty guys, We made a slight change to the clutch. It looked like it was slipping down track just a smidge so we had it about six grams total to the clutch. That'll tighten up the clutch a little bit. We're also going to add some launch boost and launch RPM So we're gonna be launching at 5 000 RPM highest Leroy's ever launched. We're hunting for that one oh 60 foot so ready to do this? 2.54 G's 2.5 Holy crap guys just made a game time decision. We're gonna go Eighth Mile just because fourth gear puts the most load on the clutch and I feel like we should just go Eighth Mile till we know we have a six second quarter mile so we don't ride the clutch. thoughts back and shoot, let's load on the car If we want to make today of the day, let's be smart about it. Let's take her to the eighth try and beat that 465 we need like a 458 455 or something. We'll be there. so I'm feeling I feel good. We'll get to the Eighth Mile and see what it puts down. Let's go Leroy a little Eighth Mile Rip Oh holy Leroy Shoot Buddy dang that baby was wicked up as you call it right there she went a little bit but yeah showing them they're gonna boost the tires off. It's like foot damn that felt crazy holy Toledo I lifted right at the Eighth Mile maybe a little bit before it. Honestly, it actually hopped the tire off the ground in first year too I stayed in it so that might not be our fastest eighth, but that was definitely our best 60 foot ever. I know that's not 108.

Yeah, 108. 8 so same Eighth Mile another 465. if it would have held through first year, would have gone to 450 something I bet. Well I lost her 330 because of what it did between the one two yeah, 108.60 108 Dude: 93 at uh 123. yeah, letting off at the eighth. Pretty solid. Pretty solid guys. we can work with that. Yeah, that's good Dude: 108 I mean you got to figure out uh, that first year might have just been. the Boost was just a little too hardcore on the ramp. sick shoot, wait, brother. And so we left. Yeah, that's right. it's fun right there. Left on Ten and a half. 10, 10 and a half pounds. Oh 10 pounds of this getting it. Honestly I think it's just suspension stuff. It'll take up because it took the the hit out. Yeah, and it was right at top of it when everything started to kind of go. Might need to be tightened up even more. We're gonna look at it. make a educated guesstimate. Hell yeah. All right guys. So first thing we checked on Leroy just as a driver I Felt like the car might have been bouncing a little bit again. So Ty pulled out the wishbone piece. he's getting greasy. we're greasing red and Tacky in it out here. This is, uh, the serious stuff. Yeah, so the other grease we used just didn't seem to really hold up. Hopefully this will really keep this thing greased up. What do you think in tune-up wise on this thing? Uh, I'm not gonna change the tune up at all. We're just gonna do suspension stuff. Let's try and get it to take that hit. I Mean it was literally like one 1.2 more pounds. It wasn't like a crazy amount of boost. I shouldn't hit the scramble. Do whatever you want. We should see what that does. Yeah, get it to hug. The sun went away so the track's gonna get tight. It might go like a 458 on that tune that 10865. By the way, you better run it out the back because it's going to do something cool. All right. Come on. So once you get this greased out, put back together, we will be back out with Leroy same tune-up see if we can replicate that 108 60 foot but not spin on the top of first gear. Do The burnouts are so funny in this thing. Oh, you ever want to change that? we can definitely change that. Yeah I mean I mean it was funny at first I'm just not messing with it because everything's working, but it honestly kind of works. It's a oh I'm locked up line lock stuck on down there. There we go. There it goes. Yeah, bend that out a little bit. All right. No I didn't hear it quick. Come back all right. Clutch leg working. Is that nude? I rolled it over itself. so now it's pushy. The arms like this long and it was starting to hit the cracking. That's kind of weird. So I rolled it over. It's okay. the whole bracket's moving with the pedals. What's happening? It's that Newfound dad strength. Oh there it is. Oh oh, 106 to the 60.
shoot Buddy Leroy is ripping boy. that's insane and he's going out there on top on the shock out in the rears. What's happening? Oh okay, let's look for the back tire. It's unloading the rear end. This is what's happening out there golly dude. Well, you can see right there there there there there there there there. there looks like she started overpowering a little bit because there's nothing in front of that. Mark and that marks past the 60. 106.60 foot and it got loose. Basically riding the 60 foot. Sorry, It's like right under transition you see that the car does its thing and it's like goes to level out. right. as the car levels out, you see just something's stopping. Whether it's the touch on 100, the power coming in the same spot, or the suspension just stops, it's floating. Let's see what we're showing. Get some data. let's get a little data. I'm fired up though. Foreign foreign clutch under there, huh? Yeah, let me get a gander here. Not looking great, see how the hours are just kind of starting to chip apart? Oh dude, what the hell it was not like that even the slightest bit. LastPass Well, when you change the weights, you mean yeah. Oh so I'm not sure we'll have to get those out and inspect them, Cut them down, resurface it if we can reuse those. Yeah, we're done. I Don't want to run it again. All right guys. Well, we are. We are done out of commission for Leroy We freaking uh golly so it looks like we might have just tore up the clutch from not waiting long enough between runs. We got too amped up. Well I got too amped up. freaking drove it right up and uh, didn't give it a proper cooldown. Now we gotta hurt clutch so we'll pull it out. We'll talk to the guys at the Clutch company. they've been super responsive and super helpful in this whole process. 106.60 foot gone to waste because we, uh, are just working it out so it's gonna take a little bit to get this thing to go.     Cleeter the issue you have on the wishbone corroding inside is called "Contact Corrosion" it is a chemical reaction and happens everytime you put steel and aluminium together without a isolator in between them…

    An isolator can be grease but you have to stay on top of it and don't get lazy with maintaining/regreasing it otherwise you will encounter always the same issue but then when you DON'T need it the most hahahahaha.

    I would recomend you to use black "Graphite grease" since its a good isolator and it lasts longer then regular grease 💪🏻😁
