RPM So the only thing I'm doing in the tune is doing the boost control and Rick's doing all the fuel and making sure that's right. So we're gonna throw some boost to this thing a little bit earlier. Today it made 25 out the back door and hit the Boost cut last night.

we don't need 25 pounds boost, we just need 20 ish pounds of boost. but we need to get in early to make a fast run so we're gonna try that today. see what it'll do? Hey, is this on I think so? Is it? Yeah, it's it's. honestly a laser beam in my eyeball.

It wasn't overheating. so I just drove back. Well, it's up at the catch can so that's a good the. Overflow I think it was just shooting out of the catch can I think it did I think it's blowing out of the hole on the side I bet you that thing's full.

Yep I think it just blew out the can. but hey, hey. here's the thing though. we may have pressurized the cooling system AKA Shoving water out of the Overflow so should I drain the water out.

Brand new engine, All right. Oh damn could how much boost was that? 488. That's awesome than yesterday. really? I Just put it in earlier.

Oh heck yeah. 116.60 foot and what the hell it takes an animal? Absolutely a beast. Uh 88. that's like Ruby times that's insane.

On the fourth pass today's mile, it's crazy. Oh yes, yeah. Train in. We'll see.

the fueling was still a little bit off, but it made 25 pounds of booth at two and a half seconds and then it was making two and a half seconds. That's why I got up. yeah and then out the back just 23 pounds I mean not even lean on it. just barely crept up to 25 for a second 25.9 Oh actually 26.2 Peak but I mean dude that was easy.

It left on five pounds, made 14 pounds and 26, then down to 23 on the back. I mean I'm I'm not a Ford guy I doubt it got the head gasket. not a Ford guy at all here, but due to LS would take a lot more boost to get there. I don't think he got the head gasket but we'll see I'm not worried.

All right. So guys, what we think we figured out is that our overflow catch can which has a vent right in the top of it was shooting out right onto my window. It was completely full so we emptied it and with the car just revving up, we don't feel any pressure in the cooling system. Nope.

so we're hoping the head gas is okay. We emptied the Overflow and we're gonna go out and run it again if it squirts water on my window again which it instantly will and I know we gotta stop and we got a problem. but that was a hell of a run dude 488. What the hell? But just here in a few minutes Guys, we have round one of eliminations.

McFlurry is number three in this free card class. the Blazer is in the 9-0 class so he can't go faster than nine. Oh or nine one. I think and none of the other cars in his class can.

Then Leroy's in the unlimited stick class. so we'll be running some other seven second stick cars. but no other six second stick cars. brother.

Yeah so then it restarted the Boost ramp or something and it started throwing all his boost at it.
