But the crazy thing is it used to have a smaller pulley on it and this thing's been a 960 on the drag strip which is fast flying. It would probably run I would say maybe a 990 as it sits, but we want to slow it down to just Marauder territory which would be like 10.50 and then if you guys want to put the fast tune up back in it, that's on you. But when one of you guys wins it and it leaves the shop, it's gonna have a little bit slower tune up on it and all you'll have to do is hop onto here and just select what you want. But that's on you. Well guys, we've had the truck ripping for two or three weeks now and James I Got bad news for the truck. I you had me order the part and it's not good news. We got a bigger pulley Guys, we're turning the boots down a little bit. This thing is so freaking rowdy. it's it's a little over the top. Yeah, it'll be safer on the truck, safer on parts, and safer for whoever wins the truck. Good news is this thing is tuned in speed density. So yeah, there's not even any tuning we have to do. We just turn it down and then we can just throw the other pulley in the glove box. The only worry I have is it might need a different belt, but we're probably gonna need a bigger belt. Yeah, it's It's so close that it may have. it may have enough in the tensioner, but we'll see. Well, that's not a huge difference and the belt looks like it's gonna fit. I Think it's only fair. we're gonna rip it. make sure it's good. It was so easy. Five minutes left, we got the right amount of slack in our belt because we didn't change the belt. How does it feel? s A couple different responses on this. It's on the side, but it's gonna be completely fine. Square Pulley if you need it, it's already pulling party fully. Yeah, don't even gotta swap the tune up. ideally. What I was going for is it not like blowing the tires off you like it did before I didn't punch it and it just Hooks and goes fast but not like annihilate the tire lose control type situation? you know? that's what we're trying to avoid which I'm perfect you know? and better gas mileage? Yeah, I mean yeah because it's all about the MPGs Got out of the MPGs Oh yeah I Can still definitely Gap George's truck. It's still. It still gets crazy. It probably lost 150 horsepower and it's still just fast. It's still making it's got to be making 12 13 pounds of boost. I Mean it feels good. It rips still. That's that's a way better level. Honestly, it was so fast before four. was almost unusable. Like if you didn't heat up the tires, you couldn't do anything. Now it feels like it actually wants to hook.
