Let's get to the live action.
Hell yeah, brother, you're on the pleasr YouTube channel All right guys! As you can probably tell, we're not at the Freedom. Factory Right now we are in Arkansas Bentonville Arkansas at a place called Game Composits. So I mean not even two months ago I posted on my Instagram I was like Hey anyone got one of them aerobatic airplanes I want to ride in? One friend of mine reached out and he was like Hey dude, have you ever heard of a Gamebird? It's a aerobatic airplane designed for tall humans such as yourself with a giraff likee stature I said well that sounds interesting so I looked into it and I'm like holy crap this plane can pull plus or minus 10 G's this is crazy Well the same friend then said hey dude I know the guys at Game Bird or Game Composits I can set up a tour and you could go there and ride one of their airplanes I said brother, fire me up So here George and I are and Fred and wity from 1320 in Bentonville Arkansas and we're about to tour this insane facility. We' just been standing outside it but it is absolutely massive so let's go inside looking at some airplanes and I don't know if I really want an aerobatic plane, but I want to experience it because maybe there's something there.
Maybe we have to get an aerobatic plane one day. I I'm not sure. You never know. Let's check it out. Apparently this is the baddest unit you can get. what's going on, guys, how's it going? We're pretty excited. We're good. How are you good? hey? Lee Lee yep Jer Jeremiah Nice to meet youus George and Fred Hey welcome guys, this is game composits.
Yeah, this is a really nice building. How many square footage are we talking? You're right right up to about 100,000 square ft. What? And it's all air conditioned. not all of it.
Um, there's certain spaces that are that need to be like the composite room layup room. I Saw you have a massive uh Arkansas Dude, you don't need AC up here. Well yeah, the summer big ass. Yeah, we'll talk more of that more when we get inside on the composite floor.
cuz that stuff's it's It's really important we get one of those cards authorized. only get your visitor pass. All right as long as it works for. Wow, that's some shiny paint.
This the game bird. This is a game. Bird Gb1 game it is. Go with that I know plusus 10 G's plus or minus 10 G's so unlimited Aerobatics 450 roll rate unlimited 450 that's per second per second.
So if you want you can at V which is 234 450 that's over so you can do over one rotation a second. Most people can't count that fast. I I'm still try one in a quarter so if you're at full speed and you full, you can do full Aon deflection at 234 knots and then you would go 450 Dees per second. o Hang on Yeah, it goes pretty.
That's a lot. Has anyone ever gone -10 Is that? Oh yeah? I mean the professionals that that hurts break them. No. I like the person inside that is insane.
You can't I mean you got to train up to that right? Yeah, Oh yeah, we could probably do it. I mean George he's built like that. I'm pretty much my draft like St I don't take G's very well. we're just built different.
Yeah Clean white unit, wood grain. Dang dude, this thing is nice. That's what I'm talking about. Tall people friendly.
Oh my gosh, it's so nice. Look at the paint Scheme on that one dude that's set up with the Stars dial. She clean. All right.
This is your office building. Nice. That's my office right there. Yeah I Like it got the little back door for One race car.
this is HR right here. Yeah, okay, definitely would be in there. We got the merch. They got the merch up here.
Nice! So we've been in this facility since 2016. Okay, started about 40,000 ft, had about an 8 9,000 ft expansion and then added another close to 50,000 ft to Total What you see here? So now we're building full production. Full certified Part 23 Oh these are certified Certif experimental. No not experimental.
So your fa FAA and Es is certified. Wow wly this is so clean in here. This is where the magic happens. He was supposed to say yeah this is this is really sick.
What do we got going in here? So this is our compos room. So remember I was talking about outside temperature humidity is super important. Majority of these PL that are constructed out of carbon fiber carbon fiber. So the only thing that's metallic on the airplane are like torque tubes. Your stick where your harnesses connect landing gear and your engine mount and everything else is carbon. Everything else is carbon. Okay, nice. How much are they weigh? So just a little over 1400 lb.
Wow, that's much lighter. 303 horse. yeah the engine is probably how much of that weigh I think what about 600 lb? I believe? So half of it about way oh my gosh, look we have carbon. P Bra right here.
Yeah no. I'm not touching anything. We're not going to touch much unless you tell us to touch it. then we'll touch it.
Um, so these green things are molds. Um, we run on one Shi and one set of molds and we do two airplanes a month. Two airplanes a month. Oh okay.
nice. Every 10 weeks an airplane's rolling off a L, so there's not a spare mold that we could use to make our own. We don't have a spare set, we could take all well, kind of a just in time carbon fiber resin process so not a free it comes out of like a refrigerator and not a wet layup where you're actually rolling on the resin. That machine is our laminator and it actually doses the resin in the correct amount of R right onto the car.
Oh, and they're laying it in the mold right there. Oh, check that out. Oh dude. Yeah yeah.
so we got several layers going into this machine depend on what what, what they're building as far as what carbon fiber out. Yeah. so The Spar will take a thicker, more robust. We you're literally starting an airplane right now.
Wow. came at the perfect time. That's some straight up Real Deal carbon fiber right there. It really is.
Yeah damn. I'm surprised it's not as uh like there. There's not resin everywhere, it's just it looks like kind of dry. and that's the beauty of the of the Just in Time process.
This machine does. That machine just doses it and then it goes in. Some guys not heavy-handed one day and one airplane weighs 50 lbs more oh than the other. Hey how you doing How are you good? See hey good to see you man talking to on Instagram Okay Trevor Fighter Jet Test pilot.
you know? would that be the best description? Fly a lot of things. Flies a lot of things. So he, uh, set this up and was able to make this happen. Gave me these guys phone numbers.
I've flown a lot of airplanes. This is the only airplane I've flown that unless I hit the ground I can't break. Okay, all right so you're he. This is the guy that can take all the G's we were talking about earlier.
What's your Peak G You think? Have you been in one of those big rotating I got my call sign dozen for a reason? do? Oh really? for 12? DS yeah and F5 oh my gosh. I would I would actually break in half? So this is a lower fuse slage half. and then you've got the upper fuse slage mold over that they've not started laying up. so once they get that all built up and buil buil up like this far box and everything, all the pieces that go in here, then they'll take them and put them on top of each other. Okay, and that's what we'll get to that and then you get that All right. Take. we can take a look at the wings over here. That's pretty cool too.
Yeah, Wings Bolt on. So they're actually two-piece and they've got a spar that they basically interconnect and then you got two big titanium pins that slide in and lock. Awesome! Oh wow, This is a done one. So a straight up carbon fiber what he's got going on here.
They did the fuel tank sealant. Oh um. so each Wing holds 28 gallons of fuel. it's a wet wing and then your Acro tank 25 gallons.
so a total of 81 gallons. So you're not kidding. This thing is literally majority carbon fibers. Oh yeah, so this is all this is.
The Spar The heart and soul of the airplane is right here. This is the smoke tank. An actual rubber bladder actually goes in there. Okay, and it is.
This is just for airplane smoke. Just airplane smoke. Ju Is that's an option. No, it's standard equipment.
Standard standard equipment. Smoke machine cannot have an aerobatic airplane without smoke. I mean I think you're 100% right? How many gallons we working with? Uh, you working with about 3.7 aze? So a little over seven gallons? Yeah. two t that's what.
I like one in each. Win! This is so sick. It's just a ginormous chunk of carbon fiber. Pretty serious.
So when they're done doing all the build out and everything they're doing with the fuel tank here, yeah, they're going to just take it. sandwich them together like that big carbon fiber sandwich. All right, we're talking the most carbon fiber I've ever seen in a day? Yeah, same. BR You ever seen as much carbon fiber in a day? No sir.
All right, it's a lot of carbon fiber going on. You have to bake the plane in here. You bake the airplane so it goes in a Precure and a postcure. you put the you put the whole plane in here or you just put every part.
Yeah they take the whole airplane, put every carbon part that's built assembled glued together. Yeah, put the whole thing in here gets postcured so it bakes at U about 185 to 200 for it takes about 14 hours to ramp up, bake and then cool. Wow. And what that does is it softens all the resin that's in all the carbon structure, softens all the glue in between them, cool and then everything kind of homogenizes and settles together.
Are you about to suction this part? Can we watch? Sure, look at this. Oh jeez, Oh straight up. Oh look at that y So these are these are some structural ribs for inside the stabilizer. No, those are carving as well.
Okay, but I should have assumed but assumtion safe assumtion. When he said the only metal was like lever the I'm like well there's got to be a little more. The actual building we're in is car. It didn't want it to be too heavy. Strongest building ever. Closing the oven All right Philli, How you doing Yeah Good too. You're the one who started this whole deal. Yeah wow, very cool and I'm flying with you later.
that okay of course we got the guy who's in the videos doing the insane stuff I watch oh boy. so you your with here right now? uh it's in there. oh it's on the it's up in the office. Wow wow Wow.
Holy cow. So the pedals can move a lot more forward so this feels good. Yeah! so I think you'll have plenty of space with the how you feel. How do yeah? do I have head room though? Can we close it? Yeah Sure Yeah.
So careful here with the canopy look oh wow he's got extra. He is so happy right now I have head my gosh this is I'm getting a little nervous. yeah you need I haven't done any aerobatics? Can I stick a camera on some somewhere? Yeah sure I just want to see my face like you know I don't know if it'll droop at all. You can stick it there.
That's the problem. Yeah drip oh gosh, you weren't like weren doing face exercises. You want to see how you look when you're 60's Hey make sure uh when you're straining it's it's your, your butt and your quads. or where the biggest spot to block that blood so it doesn't get out of your brain so you just F your leg Flex flex your legs, flex your butt, flex your quads.
and like just yeah, there's a breathing technique that you probably won't be doing sustain. G's you don't have to worry about but to keep it from leaving your brain I Already got it. Yeah, yeah, that's it. I got it.
I Wouldn't worry about it. they're all yeah, you're done. Maybe put the per. you want to put your shoulders into the per because otherwise you're sitting a little bit further forward.
Oh my gosh, it's a ratchet strap because you don't want to fall out. So the put one first, put one first like that all the way. and then the shoulder harnesses. they go in here.
This is no joke. No, this is no joke, because okay, falling out is probably embarrassing. So I don't want to come back without you. If you want to jump out, you only open these two and then you're free to go.
do not yeah like this, and then get out. Yeah, don't open your parachute. and then how do I open my parachute. That's this thing right hand.
You basically pull two little polished steel pins out of a out of an ey out of a fabric iron and that's it. But we're not going to jump today. We're not going to need that, but we have to to jump today. Let's have you jumped out of a plane before.
Okay, No. I mean yeah, like on purpose, but not out of one of these. And how long have you been doing this 23 years now? Okay I Feel good? then? Yeah, we're good. this.
Let me see your parachute. Look at these. a where do you pull your parachute at parachute. is right here. Oh okay, if you're softy, you pull it. That's exactly what that means. So George look at the aerons. no flaps on this.
it's the whole entire Wing the whole Wing yeah that's how you get that 450 ft for degrees per second rate of what's this power switch? oh that's smoke smoke system. Yeah, turn that on I know we're good. Well I feel like we're ready to to go? y yeah, you flying today? We're going to go do some tricks. Yeah the front is definitely not for the tall people.
no the back is but it looks like you're the one flying the thing. yeah he said I was going to fly. This is my check ride for a game bird. All right guys.
Well we're taking off and uh, we got two bad unit game birds right here I Really like the paint on that one. What do you think about that? Fred that's oh it's I think that's good looking. if you were to get one of these, that's that's a livery right there. Gooding Aircraft Yeah so we're going to go out, do some flying and formation and and see what this thing can do and see what I can handle and see you in a bit.
Oh yeah, good luck man! Thank you on the brakes and crank hand on the mixture. Yep here we go. Woohoo He! hello Houston I got you loud and clear. Awesome! Okay and I'm going to tighten my seat belt.
Entering: Runway will be a left turnout. uh you said where it hurts? do two more. Yeah, kind of here. It's mainly because you're tall you know and so give me away from the canopy a little bit.
That' be nice Yes sir and you'll settle anyway. You know over over time as the seat cushion warms up you'll backing a little bit in the seat. Okay oh this is great brother. Oh wow that's a power and Jeremiah is a little too quick of the Mark here.
traffic 8:00 Oh got the smoke. You got the smoke. Just got to test it. Just got to test it.
make sure it works. He 530 68 base Wow you're very good at this. Once or twice. I've flown in formation a few times and it's this is incredible.
W Thanks so much for doing this. This is great! Oh cool yeah. hope you enjoy it. We're going to jump over to the other side.
We're going to go over your top so just hold still. Here we go. No way that's incredible Phil Wow I'm shark. yeah no worries I mean see this wasn't like hard on the body or anything and this is how it can be.
You can keep it all like nice, friendly and fun and good looking I Would love to help more people experience this. Oh yeah, this is incredible all right. Jer Might just like level up and maintain 160. We're going to space out a little bit, do a half Rad do a B check and then come in next to you guys and ver it if that works.
Good All right. leveling out all right. So what I'm going to do is like pull the nose up 30 and roll invert it and I'll apply the negative cheese very very slowly. So at any point if you feel like you're not safe in your seat or anything is funny, let me know. I Just roll back up. Ight. Okay, well do. All right here we go.
So pull up and see that this is the safety thing because if we do this so now I can just bring in the G's very very slow. The other guys are out there. Are you good? Yeah. Oh, they're down there.
Okay, All right. No. I Feel very safe? Okay, perfect. All right.
We're coming in on your left side. Uh, if you could just maintain heading out for the time being Roger and then going to stabilize on their left side here. right here. So here we going to go.
Push All right. You're even good at it. Upside down? Hell yeah, brother. That's right.
Wait on. Okay, we're going to go right side up again. Wow. The whole trick with this is like with everything else with every airplane.
Be smooth, take it slow and deliberate. Okay, that's the nice thing about these high performance airplanes. You buy time. so as we go out and do some maneuvers, you know nothing has to be quick because you get so much energy in those things.
You can take your time for everything. Okay, and then they are strong so even if we fall like backwards out of the sky, it doesn't hurt anything. Okay, so it like super easy. Okay all right Jent I think we're going to like split up here.
go get over the lake, do a couple. Maneuvers if you want to follow us around, but stay clear I'll announce what we're going to do. Okay, okay, yeah, we'll follow, but stay clear right on. I'm going do a lift break here.
See you in a minute. See you okay your airplane. If you just if you just head over the lake, you can do whatever you want with the power. um I'll just leave where it is.
Yeah, sweet. So I can do whatever I want right now? Yeah sure. I mean fly a roll. if you want pick up the nose a little bit, you then just uh, like 15 or 20 put the nose up a bit more uh 15? yeah like here and then just stop pulling and then put the a like somewhere.
y very nice. look at that. Perfect. All right.
All right I Want to fly upside down for a second? Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, push a little harder. Perfect wait. So if the Vssi says below, that means I'm climbing right? Uh, no, you're the other way around.
Yeah, you need to push a little more. Yeah, that's that's yes. Very nice. Okay, Oh yeah.
I see negative 1 point2 Yeah. All right. Well this is nice. Yeah, right.
You can cruise around like this. Yeah Sweet. Oh wow. I climbed a lot when I did that? Yeah, All right.
so this a good back flip speed? Uh yeah? Sure. Yeah. Okay, all right. Ready Y one? R Nice.
We got to do the roll. Okay, sweet. Oh and then back into it. Nice.
Good job. Oh I Saw Four G's to 3.7 Yeah wow. that is so cool. What's another simple maneuver I could try.
Uh, let's do a hammer together. Let me show you one you see, keep your hands on the controls and then you do the next one. Just going to pull up here nice and easy and then as soon as the Horizon disappears you know you look at your wing tip okay and then put the wing tip about here which is like vertical and then as the speed decays. see we need a little a to make up for the torque and then kick go all the way around. Oh check this, check your check your wing again so it's vertical and then uh, like nice and easy pull out of it again and that's it. So you're airpl you do one Okay, all right, Ready? Yeah. Ready? Okay, so up, uh bit right, a tiny bit right? Yeah, Perfect. Okay, very good.
okay and then check yep and then and check your verticle. Okay, very nice and slowly pull out of it. Yeah, nice, Very cool. This plane is incredible.
Uh so we could do a spin if you want to. Yeah, let do it. Okay, cool. like stay with me on the controls.
Okay, so same thing go up nice and easy and then I'm going to cap off positive. So like winds down and uh, keep the power up and do a here left foot and then the stick goes in the after right corner and that's a like right away a fully developed flood spin. Or spin it. Yeah, all right and then just opposite Rder that's so yeah.
Then opposite. Rudder See I keep the stick where it's at, just neutralize the stick and we fly again. So there was three and 1 half turns with uh, you know, recovery without dropping the nose can I just show you some slow speed stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
all right. I got it for okay, you have it. I'm good. Okay, that's 90 straight up and then uh, like push over here Now we got 40 indicated and I'm just going to keep the stick all the way back and this is as exciting as it gets so we build up quite a significant rate of descent.
Um, but it's it doesn't like Escape we can use Ain We can use Rudder and if you just unload for a second, it flies immediately. Again, right? You feel that? yeah and so same thing you know if I do the same thing power on. So just going to maintain that altitude here. I'm waiting for the airs speed to die to 60 and then just add power here and bring the nose up.
See, this is here's the stall. So if you do the same thing like in a like accelerated store during a turn so 60 bank or 90 at 90, I just pull the stick all the way back. Yeah, Keep fine. Yeah, it's not that exciting and then you relax.
Same thing as before. it just reattaches and flies again. So losing control in this thing you really have to make an effort. The another thing that I can show you real quick yeah is uh.
so we're here and we're just going to pull into a loop from 130 and on top of the loop, we're going to do a a fourpoint roll 45 up C60 1 Two see at 45 NS indicated three Four even at 45 NS indicated you can still fly a fourpoint roll that actually looks like a fourpoint roll and uh, so that's the kind of control you have. You want to go back? do a couple. Landings So yeah, yeah, let's go do some Landings that sounds good. Okay, uh, let's head back. Wow, this is an impressive airplane I mean we're just barely touching on what it's allowed to do exactly I mean I I saw three 3.7 GS the max we did. Yeah, so yeah, as you say, you know this is you have so much margin and that's that's what I like about those. You know you can pretty much do whatever you want without. um, like really putting the machine.
Yeah! B Traffic Sky 172 with November holding shoulder Runway 18 on Bravo Okay tiny bit of left foot here. left foot nice. Hey man. awesome.
Want to do another one? No, no, we can go. okay. just cut the throttle. Okay sweet.
that was very respectable for the first time around. Oh that's that's pretty sporty Landing Well it's for the first time. it was really, really nice. So okay.
good, very cool. Thank you so much Hi! you're welcome. thanks for visiting. Isn't that thing caming out dude? Honestly? I don't know if you need one.
Did you throw up too I think I just want to ride with Phillip That was the craziest thing I've ever felt in my life. Just knowing that that's like probably 5% of what he can do is crazy cuz I've seen some videos and I mean we weren't doing none of that action. we were doing some rolls and stuff and I was in here getting crumpled like a bag of potato chips. Back here it looked he just having a conversation while we're pulling for.
GS You guys just zipped over. I'm straight up doing the fighter P trying to stay alive back here. it's crazy. Thank you so much Phil What an amazing play you it was.
Yeah dude. how about the fact that we're just flying one foot away from I was like that is close He dialed in. Dude, he's just like this just staring at you guys. There wasn't a Time we were like a foot closer.
a foot further away. we were just locked in. It was impressive. That was so cool.
Yeah, so cool. The game: Bird Gb1 That's an experience I'll never forget. Ever. All right.
Well now that we can't walk or breathe or wobbly, we're going to finish the tour. Let's go check out the paint shop magic hallway back here. Dude. Oh oh dang oh the paint.
Mve yeah, that'll work I like that color. oh that's a nice paint. Boo! that's our demo game Bird right? He just got dust on his paint job. opening the door.
it is just shocking that there's like not one thing in just in the corner. You know, like our shop has a lot of stuff in the corner. There's nothing in the corners. There's nothing here that doesn't have to be here.
we're talking 100 plus th000 Square ft and it's all perfectly organized. Yes! I've never seen an operation quite this clean in my life. I Mean there's not a there's not a zip tie on the ground about if I hun out here for a day I can put some stuff in some corns? you know what? I mean A flat surface in our shop is dangerous. It's getting covered up in an hour. Dude, look at that rig right there is Garett Phil's really big in RC model that's an RC plane. carbon fiber most I'm Machining yeah oh yeah, smells like a machine shopp what's up man, how are you what you working on I am the buring these ah shims. uh it's a plunger Rod we H cut them out on the laser. got those little bears on it.
So all right now I'm takings off. Appreciate you. That's a large CNC machine, right? a machine N A N I Didn't know there was that many axes available. Yeah, you can have 11, but Nine is doing what we need to do okay and so you can pretty much drill holes in any direction you can imagine making with nine axes.
uh, lighting, gears. for example, look at the tool box. It's perfectly clean, organized. not one extra necessary nut or bolt.
No yeah, how do you keep it so clean in here? Well, to keep it clean, make sure it stays clean. So if one of these screwdrivers makes it into an airplane while we fly, that'll be a bad yeah. this is all about discipline, about keeping everything where it needs to be. Like every day, all day long.
Yeah and we just can't have one quality. Escape Here we got a little ACC machine. Oh wow. so basically we can.
This building is massive. Yeah it's humongous. this is. Yeah they can make anything besides of this table.
dude. hly Irane foam. that's some solid stuff. This is awesome.
This is like almost size of our shop. literally. This is literally this is amazing. 11 years Stu here all these this a newe have any been flown yet? or you just no not flown yet? This it's going to be a 1200 gon airplane for and fire.
oh wow cool. really do you test F them all yeah that's what I like understand that's right flying this baby on Friday new pick up on Monday so they you got to stick the wings in it and Slide the titanium bar in there. Do you have one of those titanium bars? I love to see one of those see that? All right? Oh man, one of the yeah, that's pretty nice. That's the wow.
All right. Well hey thank you very much. Thanks! A pleasure Philip Uh showed us some very impressive stuff and great to meet the other guys too. This is Gamebird up in Bentonville Arkansas Was an impressive facility but uh I guess we got some more airplanes.
Check out today with dozen so get to that all right? So before we go Trevor is going to show us a freaking Patriot I mean what's more American In a Patriot, where are these built built bibs County Alabama Alabama I Like to tell it, that's deal me 180 horse 19 something horse oh ohow I got you Dam it all right. So a lot of other uh companies out there. What they'll do is to get the horsepower that you want. They'll add like I360 or an IO 390, right? This is an I320 but it's made by a company out of California called Lyon Pro gentically Freeze all the parts polish they uh shave down a lot of stuff that's not needed to decrease weight. So we have out of an IO 320 a very light I320 and the constant constant speed prop. uh this airplane sits with everything, tires and everything at about 11 100 lb. and that's with the bigger wings and everything and almost 200 horse. Look at this Avon setup in here.
it's clean. Oh wow yeah it's it's funny because I've flown I've flown Fighters I've flown commercial I've flying top end Comm You know corporate Jets and this is the best avionic system of any airplane I've ever flown in a Cub looks nice. You know other competitors have just a net in the back seat for your back seats. The doors can open and close with nice latch you longer Wings longer Wings How long are they you know? Uh, 36.
Okay yeah, so 2 ft longer. Yeah, it's about a foot on the other side. it's like 366. She's sturdy.
This is my favorite part about this airplane. right here. So this we call it the turtle shell. We're like, why don't we just make something that gives you a ton of storage so you can bring all your camping gear all your stuff I Just got I Just got Junk back here Like that back seat pops out really easy with just a couple velcro straps and there's like 7 fo 6 of space.
so you can actually camp and use this as your camper. If you're out in the back not have to bring a tent or anything like that, just sleep in the plane. Yeah, that's pretty damn neat. Yeah, it's your camper.
Cub I Love how it just slides back on the rails. That's nice. Yeah, that is cool. Pretty neat stuff.
So we're going to fly it. Yeah, you want to go fly, let's do it. CLE There's a taxi way to the right of there. Just taxi down that taxi way.
Okay man, this thing sweet. that's a fun bird. All right Here we go in the Patriot the little bit bigger, a little bit more powerful version of the Cubsy dooo does have some big old wings. Okay, okay, off they go.
woohoo and we can climb out at 50 or 60 somewhere around there. Yeah, bring the flaps up when you're ready once you get used to it, that flaps lever is really nice. It is nice cool. So let's uh, let's run it through some stalls.
All right, ready. So just power off. So bring the power back. Just let it keep her level, have her start slowing down once you get below 80.
bring two those two Naches of Flaps in or not. Either way, they'll run them. get a more exciting stall out of it. Yeah, this one will be fairly benign.
Then we'll do a power on and that one will be more fun and I'll just keep her planted. Yeah, just keep her planted when she stalls. Just keep her back. It's counterintuitive cuz you want to recover.
Yeah I ain't scared. All right. She's like no, I won't stall now. put a little Aeron in see how you still have. you can still still control pretty well. he's just sitting on the stall. Yeah, 1500 ft H about a th000 Oh there it goes. There you go Now Now Now it's going to get into that a little bit more.
There you go down and you keep it back and back up and and down. just bucking bronco all right. Now let's add the little power. Like great there all the power.
Okay add all the power, keep adding power, keep adding all the way forward. all the way forward. all the way forward all the way forward. There you go.
Now you're looking at the sky. Yeah, little right rer to stop that. That's fun. Yeah, it's a little shorter so if you don't feel comfortable with it, no no harm in going around.
I got you ni? You want to go fly by yourself? Yeah, all right, don't you to shut the engine down? I'll just hop on out. get a video. Yeah. I will I will let me grab my phone.
Are you cool of the landing that hard? or you want it? That's nothing for this airplane. that's what. I yeah thought but you know you're I don't want to beat on your plane. Angle of attack on this thing's nuts dude.
the the angle, the angle you can get the end is crazy. It's really nice. It's like you came in with that tail down really low. Thanks.
So much problem. What a unit? What's that? I Said this takes a unit. it's it really works good. Thanks dude.
Appreciate youle Well well I appreciate that he let me solo. He got out. oh yeah, that's trusting right there. So Trevor AKA Dozen alridge? uh if you haven't seen like his Instagram page or anything like that, you should check it out.
A lot of cool stuff on there. I mean he flies fighter jets so that's just one thing you can look forward to on there. but he's the one that kind of caused this whole trip to happen and got a touch with Gamebirds in the whole nine. So really great man.
Appreciate Good day of flying man! Lots of different things from as slow as you can get right to to kind of unlimited aerobatics, everything. and if you ever have a question about a patriot aircraft or want to get one, just DM this guy on Instagram he can tell you everything about it I mean he's encyclopedia about this what you think about it I think it was sick uh I like The Wider stance compared to mine I didn't feel like I was like as Tippy Also when I was hard breaking the tail stayed down easier which you know. definitely a couple things I like I like the turtle shell right? that's useful. A lot of neat things.
so man, hey with you all right? cool. Hope get back here soon. Yeah all right guys, we got to go catch a flight heading back to Bron That's it for now. Thanks for watching new for freaking see you later n.
That power-on turning stall shows incredible controllability. From what I recall, doing a 60 degree banked, power-on, accelerated stall in a Cessna is a spicy recipe for a spin. This plane looks dreamy.
โIf i hung out here for a day i could put some stuff in some cornersโ โa flat surface in our shop is dangerousโ i felt that fr๐
DOPEY, BIG NOSE DOPE. ……………………DRRRRRRR!
That is wild
That flap handle location in the Cub is one of the worst designs I've ever seen. It' right there in your face when the flaps are extended.
What a great video. It was an absolute joy to watch!
Get yourself into a 42% scale RC game bird, start learning IMAC sequences.
So cool to have an owner with so much knowledge and history of his car but also knowledge of other manufacturers of the period. With Jay's knowledge I could listen to them share stories all day. Great episode Jay.
Thankks. I enoyed the content but got dizzy trying to keep up with the camera jerking all over the place . I would have enoyed it more with less , tight face shots and more shots moved back some and also with more content of the product and not so many face shots. Just my view. I still enoyed the video and thank you.
