So guys, the first day at Tx2k got canceled. There's a bunch of rain this morning so we're now unpacking the car so we can tuck them in. today. we'll only have Saturday and Sunday of takes 2K So well it's up here after the long ride on I-10 Still on the lift though, so that's good.

Mullet is here McFlurry is here. And most importantly of all, the spark we need a tech guy to verify this hood that we spent hours on. Is that gonna pass? It's like a hood to me. Are we good? or we're good? All right brother, you got your launch! RPMs 3, 000, 323, 43600 on that thing.

So I'm thinking 3 000 today and then I I built you a couple boost tables here. so number one's gate pressure number two would be like a eight one. number three would be like a 780. Number four would be like a seven sixty.

number five, seven forty I would think so. probably running on gate. That's what I was thinking. we're gonna make this thing pretty slow, Huh? with our one qualifier hit I Don't think we've got any choice.

this is my 10th year ever at the X2k, 10th year ever at Tx2k because of this guy. Hell yeah, you're a minor back then I know she's had to be her dad for the weekend. All clear, the whole truck out there there we are. Pull it 8.75 at 160. real slow out the hole I think that might have been in their tune up there. So guys my Boost switch right here after the burnout I know I had it on for the burnout because I used my line lock and then out of the burnout I must uh they after the burnout they told me to shut it off because there was some smoke from the car in front of me and I must have just gone like that and then when I restarted I didn't turn it back on which normally I turned on the burnout I never have turned the car off and I just I messed up so you want me to put it on the two-step Pete a lot more.

Such an idiot dude that sucks guys. All right. we got McFlurry out here ready for a rip. e that's how you do a burnout boy.

All right baby. Qualifier for McFlurry out here at Tx2k Whoa. Really bad. Well what did James run well McFlurry Somehow like went straight to a limiter right out of the hole.

so I don't know what it was really so he just cruised the rest. Yeah, both of us aren't qualified. probably. So yeah, Mullet Mullet I left the freaking boost arm off because I had it on in the burnout like I normally do because it's the line lock.

it's not on the line lock doesn't work. but then I had to turn the car off for the guy who broke in front of me and I must have fat finger finger switch. Yeah, that really screwed us. Really true.

once again, it's all on Leroy Well Frick guys on the McFlurry side the car was making a rip go all the way up to 11 pounds of boost and then a safety. Turtle So we're trying to sort out why that safety came on. all right. So we opened up the Clear View still some yeah, most of it looks it's red is what really serves me for a loop.
The only thing that's red in there is just Loctite that's on. Uh, rocker arm stand stuff, rocker arm shaft bolts, stuff like that so you're good to run it again. Okay, yeah, maybe I'll turn the Boost switch on this time if you turn the Boost switch on it. Yeah, that'd be really good.

That'll clear it up even more crap. All right. Well I think we got Mc40 figured out guys. The wide band on the left side was reading super lean I thought it was already off.

it wasn't off so it was going into engine protection for their fuel ratio because the wide man was telling the car hey, we're super lean so it turned on a rev limiter so we're gonna fix that. Luckily we're getting another run and we're gonna have to make it all. Count on this next qualifier as the good news is this is where Leroy shines. You know when all the other cars are failing Leroy seems to do the best, so we got that going for us so maybe we get a good run of Leroy here, then put him away and the other cars there we go.

Nice burnout from Leroy look that way. Really cool brother here. Holyroid! Oh faithful, you know I can't believe he's spinning that far down the track. Dude! I'm excited to pull this clutch today and I can't wait to see it! Well we clutch data that's really soft tune up but still spun it out all right.

Well so far guys I messed up the run with mullet. we had a air fuel safety come on with McFlurry and then Leroy you know just did Leroy things and made a dirty pass. but hey, he's still the fastest out of the three so it's getting colder and colder but hopefully we can make something happen before round two with these two cars or we're kind of screwed. If we, if we qualify with an 85, we'll be raising Eight Second cars and more which will be pretty dumb.

So we really need like a 690 or a 7-0 Dude, this thing sounds like it's running way better. way better. Nice. Hopefully I'll make it past uh, 40 feet this time I like the shoes Dude Simpson said you need some American Spirit Dudes, yes sir, what'd you say the ball? apologize 7 to 89.

So 789 is the bump out right now for the fast class. So James needs to go slower than 789 and I need to go faster than 789 to be in the fast class. and then James will be in the second fastest class, which would be ideal for our streetcar class takeover that we're attempting to do. So we really need like a bottom seven like a seven, three or seven four even would secure our spot.

Oh yeah, oh man, guys, we might not have qualified all right 8, 13 at 185. that was insane. They kicked the tire off so hard. Dude, what was the short track? Because that thing was falling 60 foot 310 to the 330s like it was cruising and then it just blew the tire off.
There's probably old on this. There ain't no way, Dude, you can see the tires hazing before it kicked sideways. I didn't know I can't believe it kicked off I Mean that just blows for us because now we're gonna be racing second car. I mean we're gonna be racing.

been blurry now I know it's cool and all. but like I want to race the fastest guys here. So basically you know they break up the streetcar class into two groups. the fastest 16 and then the second fastest 16.

and now now we're gonna be in the second fast 16 because we didn't get a good qualifier. Well, we didn't crash the cars 21 pounds of boost. the car was settled in. man.

I Just can't believe it's fun there. That's crazy. All right we got McFlurry coming up I'm jealous. Second qualifier: The track is super cold.

Because when I got when I was like sitting trying to figure out what happened I had to push the button and roll the button again to get it to restart. You're probably in the third class and I'm now in the second. which hey, at least we're not gonna raise each other I'm Gonna Roll to it I Mean it was.

it went a 50 508 at 130. it's pretty solid so it's pretty solid. It was on us, probably a 790 or 8-0 packs I know and now you're gonna have to race eight 70 cars you have to perhaps and just turn the thing way off and you're gonna have to like partial throttle that is. Oh, that's yeah.

Oh yeah yeah, it's awesome. So it's gonna be a prop and then just wait for them to catch up and then just try to eat them at the Sharp without breaking out. A lot of show we got going on here. Yeah, less than ideal situation.

Very less than ideal situation guys. We got a new sketchy attachment for Leroy 5a's bolt holding down to weights on the back of the car. So we had about 50 pounds of weed on the back. Now we got about 100 pounds a week bolted to the chassis so should be well.

but I think you're always still on there. Yeah, yeah, we got the old weights too. So so you got 100 on the tail? This thing's just too light for thinking what is gold? You got some weights in the back. Yeah I need more weight on black tires so all you did was picked up 100 pounds.

What you doing in the quarter because that the Chevrolet motor? Say something a little different. It's been a 701 701? Yeah, you'd be careful. You got God in the steering wheel on your goddamn side usually I just take it off. Don't do that tonight buddy.

but you know I blew it for mullet. but now I haven't had Moonstar Well well you know, maybe he didn't blow it. Maybe that's just the way he was supposed to go. You know, you never know.

Yeah, maybe man beat. it's meant to be. What happened in Leroy there were you getting into traction controllers. Things are spinning way at the end of the track which is so crazy sitting weird.

you know? we're definitely not where we wanted to be. we're we're qualified with Leroy and we're qualified with McFlurry and mullet. but we're not in the position we wanted to be. so mullet tomorrow I think he's restricted to like 7 30 or 7 40.

I'm not 100 sure, but it's gonna be weird because we can't run bullet in the sixes. That's like what we came here to do, but they won't let me opt into the faster class. So we'll run the Me group and then you've been flurries in the C group and we're just gonna. We're gonna have to race our race.

You know these are the cards we were dealt in. Y'all do we gotta do so? I Just now we're gonna cook some dinner, hang out and hit it hard in the morning.
