MC YouTube Channel So guys I just walk up to McFlurry and I'm like no way we're doing that cuz I See a nitrous bottle seat belted into the passenger seat, but there's actually a bracket behind it so it is bolted. That's nice. James You can just reach over and get it all right Guys, here's the deal.

We had really good weather and we had a track rent this week so I said we have to get a new converter but we decided we're not doing it. We're just going to go ahead and try and make this six with this converter which is going to be a struggle. However, we have Dr Tunal down here and we went ahead and implemented the Nitrous Spooler 9000 that we had on Rocky Mountain Race Week years ago on Mullet. You guys may remember we now have a nitrous line at the front of the turbo that's going to help this thing spool up faster and hopefully create less heat on the converter, which is, uh, ideally what we need to do because that transmission fluid that came out of the Bruno drive it was smoked.

It was not good. Yeah, we're trying to avoid that. It's got fresh flu now though. Yeah and I'm feeling good I think Jack can get that six today.

We've got really good air. it's nice and cool out like 60. We also hung 35 lbs of weight on the nose which we don't know if we 100% need yet. Nate Said he watched the video and said he can make some suspension changes and dial it in.

yeah I was talking the shock out which you can see here which I'm trying to figure out how to flip it around. so this is a shock sensor which normally it's supposed to go this way. yeah but the data is backwards. Yeah so it's going down but you can see where right where he pedal to fast.

Okay so we got to tighten up the rear end. hopefully with the Nitro spooler 9000. some suspension tuning and a little bit of weight on the nose and a Jacki in foot through the floor should. Oh yeah, she's chared hit her brother.

Let's see the handy dandy button there she is. Ah, she ain't really spooling it exactly how I like it to be I think it'll work because it just needs that cold air. It really doesn't matter if it spools, the turbo does it small. J Take J oh there's a jet in it.

What's our uh, tuneup looking like? So Six is what you guys went 7-Eleven on? yeah saying six. Um, the rear shock was super loose so reset the rear shock loose in the front. just two clicks. Okay and then the air is much better.

I had the air so much better. Proba hit a boot sa it must have. Yeah damn man. So we were ripping and then coming off on the Finish Line we had a pop like it did a boot cut or something I just had to get out of it not knowing what it was.

Man it was ripping I bet he just hit the nitrous button. screwed us all up. button down there dude I would be like brother. you're done 1260 Put 297 first, 2 second 330 452 Dude I'm telling you right now, way faster than the other day.

a little bit we can go 4 this. Let's just keep turning up I mean easy. You got to see what it did, how much boost it made I'm fully confident it made a little more boost than what we were hoping for I saw it pop and I was like oh, it didn't make any. No, oh there's the noise.

yeah, missing about 40 mph out there? Yeah, got 158 so that thing probably would have almost went 200 right there. It's all right. so close. All right, we regroup.

You can't get on the first trve that's no fun. that's no fun. It's a M racing way right? Yeah, exactly. There's our potential 6C Mustang right there buddy.
Oh yeah, like a you hit the nitrous didn't you? No, it would have been it. It felt like it was on a roof R it was on R00 Footage said figure out what happened. Yeah, you want a 52? Yeah it was. It was felt like a 52.

How much boost did it make? It's only 34 lb. That's what's well, then why the heck did it back? It looks like it lost RPM signal right here. see the lean Spike where Yeah, that ain't good. How much boost did it make when it left? it was 14 lb.

Okay, right where we need to be 11260 put that's getting after it. see that I was like Oh and it kept accelerating I was like this is awesome All right. Well let's figure out why she backfired and we'll go from there. We did have a little issue up here in the engine bay guys.

we have these breathers JB welded onto this pad because the weld broke on it and now uh, the JB Weld just popped off on that run. so we're going to try and fix that real quick with some more. JB Weld Problem is you got to pull the whole valve cover to fix it and we just didn't have time to do that. Tried to get away with JB Weld and it didn't really work.

so we'll see what we can fix up and make another lick. All right, Jack you ready for round two here? Dud, If it don't pop, this is it. dude. Yeah, so the pop we think.

was it losing crank signal for a split second? It's all fact, which is a mystery. You know we might have to put a uh crank trigger on the front which we probably should for how fast we're going. Yeah, think about how much the crank's bending in this thing. you know the factory stuff doesn't really love that type conter they back side of it.

yeah. Factory Sensors don't really like making 2,000 horsepower and we're in that area at 34 lbs of boost. Probably so real close. Probably at least 1,500 something like that, but we'll see if it does it again if it does it again.

Back to the shop. Just one of those things. Yeah, at least it's not a 70 Cur like we were I think if you go all the way you're going to 690. the slip shows would have been a 6 something on that on that last RI All right, well let's go do it.

It was. It was a 10th and a half faster to a th000 fo so it would have been like a 69. Yeah, it would have been like a 694. All right, let's try it again.

So uh, definitely have to go back to the drawing board on this one cuz it popped at the same exact spot and that was a faster 60t 110 on that one. So uh, see if we can't overnight us a crank trigger and maybe try again tomorrow. Yeah, 110 60t. Yeah, we're just so there now and now it's backfiring on the big end.

Okay, lot of smoke. Hopefully it's just that breather tube or something. Hopefully it's that breather tube just blew off again I need to probably put a little weight on the nose now. but 453 with the pedal dude pedal I Didn't want to change anything cuz the air just keeps getting better and better.

So we had a rental today, but we've been spending the day getting this all done with the new fuel pump braacket and things like that. and uh, there's only 12 minutes left in the track rental next door. All right. What are we on? Uh Day Day 50 of trying to run a six Something like no.

this is our third attempt to go back to the track in this video you guys saw. we went a 452 in the eighth. Well then we had more problems. more problems.

More problems, Figured out some of those problems we think and uh, we changed around some wiring as well because it turns out we weren't actually losing RPM signal. We were losing power to some coils and then big backfire and that you know caused other damage. Here we are, we're going back to the track. we have 2 hours of track rental left and then they close down the track for the weekend for this big event.

So this is literally our only shot. Otherwise you have to wait till next week. Let's go You feeling good dude? Come on dude. See, this is a thing.
If it doesn't pop, it goes a six. Yeah, if it pops, we didn't fix our problem. Okay, it's going to be. It's going to be pretty night and day.

It's got the tuneup. We got the car, we got the power. We just need the pop to go away exactly and we'll be good. So no pop and we're good.

All right Dude, we are. Same tune, same tune, same tune. The air is a little worse though. hotter day, not as cold as hope.

All right. let's see if all F Got a six iner today. We hopefully got this issue fixed, but this will be the test. Don't even got to worry about it.

No see. The other day we had a very cold track. very tight track. This track today is very tight but warm.

You know sun's been on it all day. So uh, we got the car pretty tight. for these conditions. we're going to have to drop some weight off the front, loosen the back up.

didn't even try to go. we just instantly on the tire. Well guys, we are parked at 14 lbs of boost which is what we've been running same. RPM but we did add that 40 lbs to the nose again to pull off it just little too much.

So that was our one change. I was saying we didn't change anything. We did change that. so let's pull that back off.

Odds are it'll go down. We'll see where we're at to get past that first 10 ft we game. Once we go a 699 one time all these problems go away and we'll be able to go sixes with E. It's just it's just always.
