back out testing. We got Mullet and at Fl2k we went a 652 at 224 mph. Freaking fought a night fight to the finals and lost to a car that just went way faster than us and we turned it up a ton to try and catch it and didn't we spun the tires. So what we're here here at the track tonight to do is make Mullet's Eighth Mile faster.

Mullet's really good down track because we lay in that big block horsepower. But if you saw every car at NL 2K would beat us to The Eighth Mile and then we'd come around him at the end At the very end. Well how about we beat him to the Eighth Mile And the end? You know that's what we're trying to go for. We're trying to really pep it up.
So we got our 315 big tire back on, which is how we're going to be racing that World Cup So Mullet is in World Cup trim, which is only a couple weeks away. We have Pete in town tonight which is going to optimize our testing. The fastest bullet's ever been in. the Eighth Mile is like a 428.

We're trying to go like 415 or 4.0 You know what I'm saying We we really want to take it up a notch. What do you think we can do to make Mullet a little faster than the eight? Lock it up in first. here. We can try to get some in earlier.

Sometimes that'll help you know, but just crack at it. It's all it can do. All we can do all right cuz these other guys man, they're locking it, unlocking it, relocking it, unlocking it again. Well, locking yours ain't going to help for nothing.

I Don't think cuz you already got your it's It's in a sketchy situation to start with soz it's just so much torque right? Yeah, and we we got a We got plenty of power which just demanded just about getting into the ground. Yeah, well. we got our 315s back on. Okay I thought it'd be cool tonight.

try and go like 44 or something like that. just P pour something to it Pour it in there. Really right? All right, All right. So just so you guys know what we're up to.

We have the same tune that we had in this at Fl2k when we spun in the finals, but we have the bigger tires on now so we're thinking it'll probably hold it. We'll go to the Eth Mile and lift and see what we got. All right. Mullet, got mullet, fired up.

Cleer is ready. We're going to try to go fast today. Boys Oh yeah, Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, did you hear that thing? 693 at 161 120 to the 60 foot Brother 12 298 to the 330 298 298 to the 330 435 at the Eth at 180 mph. That tire makes a big difference.

Roll Mullet guys, that's nothing different but the tire. We went right on through there. We just need our bigger tire. Yeah, just need brother take a look at that unit right there.

Let take a gander at what we got going here. 120 60t 298 to 330 435 at 180 180, got 180 and E with a 120 60t and then I lifted at the eighth and rolled to a 690. Yeah bro! I heard it and I'm like oh my God I Think if you got a big car truck, you should be able to run big tires right? So now we just need to knock down that 60t and 330 and we'll get to those uh four 14s that we want. What was the fastest 330 we've had before this.

Do you remember 289? so we're still a 10th off of that. Oh, we're right there though. Yeah, we're close I mean I was fired up I Heard that they come pretty soft. a great yeah 120.

it's been 111 so 60t. So if we can get that 60t down, get that 330 down. Dude, it didn't even try and shake the tire. It just loves this bigger tire and it's not even that much bigger of a tire.

It just makes Mullet happy. He's like I got my tire back I got my gear back I don't got a REV to 10,000 Give him what he wants. This is what the man wants D All right guys, Mullet's up for round two. Added boost down low just trying to that short track down 60t 330 8 Mile You know that's that's what we're interested in tonight.
So we got it gassed up. Boys are doing tire pressures ready to rip. Oh yep, well she sounds ready. Here we go Mullet.

Oh my Gosh! Oh I think that was just smoke 682 at 163. Wow, dude, that is unreal. Let's go get this man out. Dud that was really fast W cuz the converter locked before the Eighth Mile and I know that's at 180.

Oh boy. so I knew that was fast. She picked up yeah, 430 flat, 181 in the eighth, just rolling to a 682 I know dude. Holy crap I mean she's making some steam? Yeah, 117 60 ft just chipping away at it.

All right. that was a ripper of a run. but when I was about you know, maybe 400 ft out. I could feel the steering wheel was really light like I was just on one tire.

So what we're going to try and do is lower the front of Mullet just a little bit. Ty What do you think of like two turns on the coil over? Yeah, we're going to turn them down two turns? It should be roughly a half of an inch. Okay, yeah, so we're going to lower the nose of the car half an inch. We're kind of running out of the ability to tighten our shocks anymore, so we may have to get those revalved, which is no big deal, but Mullet's just got this monster truck ride height to it right now, so we figure hey, we'll just lower the nose a little bit and that'll probably help it stay down.

About how much boost we're in the 50s. we haven't been in the 50s since. uh, we changed the engine first time in the 50s with the SMX What are we going to do to get that 60ft time down I Want to see like a 109 on this thing? You think he's got it? Yes, he's got it. Yeah we can try more in it.

So that was about almost just shot of 11 on the on the brake Trans braake. 11 lb of boost. Nice. All right.

Well let's see what we can get done. All right. Mullet ready to make another clean rip. Here we go.

Bullet oh my. God Holy crap. Well we got some Sparks down there 115 to the 60 292 to the 3 3431 to the Eth. slowed down at 177.

Yep, well let's go see what them Sparks are all about. Yeah, hopefully that was just brakes and not brakes I mean she was on a rip but SL down 4 M hour? Yeah, all right so we determin that the Sparks are from when I let off. You know it was kind of doing a little power wheel out there. it just kind of rubbed the ground.

We don't think that's a big deal, but we're wondering why it's down 5 mph maybe? I Lifted early Trans Weon? What's that trans? Flipping? Yeah, Well, that's a problem and that explains why we lost some mile per hour going out for our next pass. We got no first gear I Got no first gear? Really? Throw it back. Well that makes sense because it should have gone faster. Yeah, there's your problem.
wouldn't pull forward. Put it in second Bo pulls right forward. First gear sounds like it's slipping and we just checked the training fors too. So man that explains your last pass.

Yeah, it probably play we l time and probably the Sparks maybe? Okay damn. Old Faithful Dude, this transmission never lets us down. Hey Well I'm sure the boys at Eminem will will fix it right up. but I mean what can you expect? She's she gets the crap beat out all the time.

A lot of a lot of horse Tor Turning that puppy. All right. Well bummer. All right guys.

Well that's it for Mullet. Today we got some great progress. I mean we got our 60ft times back where they should be 114 or 115. Yeah, and uh, we're set up on this tire now so we just got to get this transmission fix.

We'll come back on track and hopefully go a 14 or something like that 4.1 something I don't know, but it's broken for now. Okay guys, we are back in the shop and we have some updates on all of you. Mullet's transmission is already gone on its way to Eminem They're like send that puppy in and they're working on it. Our transmission will 100% be back and good for World Cup Yeah, it doesn't hurt to get a Refresh on it over here in the Leroy Department We got a couple things going on.

We got the transmission out of this as well because we hurt the normal clutch we use and then we put the spare in it and ran sixes. Clutch was good, but we were like Hey we're sending this other clutch out. We might as well send them both. but check out this than a gander that input Chef Oh see the twist? You can see a little bit of a Twist in there.

Yeah, so the input shaft on our transmission is Twisted Now this happened last year and we sent it off and got it fixed and then it twisted it again. And who knows when it twisted it. We don't know, but we're kind of like, why would we fix it at this point it's pre-twisted so hopefully it doesn't twist anymore. Our spare transmission, however, does not have a twisted one.

So here's the deal. We're going to leave it. They don't make a better input shaft for this transmission. We have the best one you can get, so that's that's how we're going to live it out.

Hey, it'll go sixes. We know that. See, we know it'll go sixes. so we're just going to leave it.

Hope it's not an issue cuz we know that if we put another one in it, it's going to twist it again. So over here in the McFlurry Department we're doing a rear year swap Rusi again. just did this. Yeah, we just put a 3 0 in the back and we're like man, it loves it.

But now we're getting rid of the Godzilla come up here. Yeah, no more Godzilla dude she gone gone no more Godzilla All right here's the deal guys. love the Godzilla Great engine, but we found the max of what we can do with that platform for now. I'm sure one day Godzilla will be going faster than 750s, but every time we lean on it we heard a head gasket.
So yeah, it's one of those deals. we're just going to move on to a different platform. I Won't say what we're putting in it yet, but I'll show you the turbo. Believe not, we're putting new turbos in with the new engine combination.

But all that being said, we're going to smaller turbos to go faster. Do the math on that yeah means thing. dude be swap. No, no be swap.

dude. everyone wants a bear swap but we think we'll end up in the same boat we're in right now with the Godzilla 100 where we won't be able to go as fast as we want Fox TJ maybe I Don't know. All I'm going to say is the new engine revs a lot higher and it's a lot smaller displacement. Okay, does that make sense? Yep, which allows us 5.3 I already knew it, Not an LS oh God All right, no one say any more engines cuz we're getting we're getting close.

Oh lot of little boxes. Good old Precision boxes. Dude, there's the there's the boxes. So these are Nextg.

Read that we've never had a Nextg Turbo in the shop. This is their newest Greatest Latest Best Turbo. And let's take a garer. So not only is this turbo out of the new Nextg pedigree, it's more efficient.

More power for its size. Because this little baby guy is only a 62 2 mm turbo. A Look at it dude, that's a dude. When's the last time we had turbos this small in the shop? Never had one that small.

That's crazy. This is dude. this is smaller than Leroy's original turbos. These are baby 62.

That's pretty small dude. not big look at that. This is for a golf cart. Yeah, so we had to go to this turbo size to be able to fit in the World Cup finals.

Street Fighter Class rules with the new engine combo that we're going to run so you know it's going to have puny turbos for One race. but after that we'll put big turbos back on it. We save the ones that are coming off of it 76s and we'll be right back in them. Big boost numbers, but we'll be limited by these turbos at World C Sho That made me small.

Wow, look at that little fella. a So PR So Precision build these I can't see it with your hand in you can't sorry dude. I'm so used to it. Big Turbo Precision Built these to maximize the rules of the World Cup Final Street Fighter Rule book is it's the best we could get.

So big shout out to Precision But hold that up to Leroy's turbo real quick. Dude, it's so tiny. but I Guess you know people with these engines that were running run small turbos. It's just what they do.

The guys know what they're doing over their Precision So and yeah, they know what they're doing so hopefully it does what we want and wins the Street Fighter class at World Cup But yeah, that would be ideal. It's scary looking at that small of a turbo in this shot. Look at the look at the outlet dude. So baby dude.

Rodney's got bigger turbos. George's burnout truck is bigger turbos Jang is like brand new turbo. Destroyer He sees a new new turbo. new throws, intake, break it in, jumps on it 56 mm Gates Which these are going to have to work hard to let a lot of exhaust air out because turbos will only be able to take about 20% of it All right? So we got brand new Gates brand new blowoff valve Precision Got a setup and we'll have an engine in a Day stuff it in.
Then we'll get that guy tie over there a couple energy drinks. Couple pallets of energy drinks. Couple pallets of energy drinks. Hey, you don't have to build custom headers.

That's true. We got to set of headers from Holly All he's got to do is build the cold sides. I mean it could well and part of a hot side, part of a hot side. But taking headers I mean typically before a big race we like to make Tai do a full custom set of headers the weekend before, but this time we're giving him a break, giving him small turbos and only has to do the cold side some hot side.

You know we're just taking it easy on him. It's basically a rookie job. at this point, it really is. Back to the stuff You: we got to slow down for the old guy.

What? he working in a chair lately. He's been sitting there smoking cigarettes all day. If you guys aren't already planning on coming to World Cup finals you should. We'll have these three cars our main cars there.

    Cleetus, have you considered running the 31-spline Viper shaft on that transmission? If you're still running a 26-spline, it's a little weak for that power level.

    You should put the 110 mm precision turbo's on mullet that's what Steve Morris had to do when he had that engine in his car you put them bigger turbos on there and you can run less boost and make more power I'm really excited to see if you acknowledge my comment
