This is the morning after the old crank Snapper 9000 situation. Blower looks good. Everything looks great on the Blazer Besides, you know this part right here. so you got a little wiggle in there.

a little wiggle in her jiggle. but anyways, we're about to pull the motor out. Probably take the paint off and see what this crankshaft's looking like because it's definitely not one solid piece anymore. Yeah, good bit of a material obviously.

Uh, things got a little out of whack here. Yeah, she snapped clean off less than I do? Yeah, not good. That's a no bueno? Yeah for sure. Yep, bro.

All righty brother. Good old 427 Reese sleeve. but we're gonna have to be a little bit more careful with our crankshaft in this one. Blazer's gonna be back in action, but listen, please don't let that happen again.

So we got a little crank support action for the Blazer and we got a fresh end up 427 from the good old boys at Texas Speed His other 427 out of the Blazer is technically okay, but it needs a crankshaft so this is going to go back. Get machined up, blocking on stuff seem to be okay, right? Literally just broke the crankshaft. number one. Main: Yeah, well, that's not surprising.

Main bearing a little beat up just from the tension on the pulley, but we now have a fresh 427. This one will get fixed up and be our backup motor. but we got the backup motor out getting ready to go in the Blazer so we can make it to Indy for the streetcar class. Dude, if we had this thing in Bristol we would have been dialed all right.

Ty What's going on over here brother. Trying to keep the crank in one piece instead of two? Yeah, that'd be good. We got the engine back in the Blazer freshened up 427 from Texas Speed and down here we have a custom crank support so we couldn't really find one that worked good for the Blazer one that was off the shelf. So we bought this small block Chevy crank support kit and Ty is customizing it to bolt to the motor and that'll basically hold the snout of the crank from bending and torquing.

No more flexing and that'll help keep it alive. Hopefully hopefully we ready to fire this thing up. We sure are. man.

Sam You cleaned it up just for sending your fingerprints. No look, it's just New Look You can put your fingerprints to it and there's no scratches. Look at that. These guys been leaned over with the belt buckles.
