Today we have a custom tie built Ford Ranger built in his home garage. Tell us what we got here. obviously powered by Ford But what's the deal up here? Uh bone stock Gen 1 Coyote with oil pump gear? That's pretty much it. That's for the engine.

and uh, big old turbo. Big old turkey. What are we doing with Turf key here? Uh, it's an old custom-built turbo off of like a really old super build. yeah from induction actually.

guy from Vic years ago. Wow. and um, looks good. It's roughly an 88 mil, but I'm not exactly somewhere in that somewhere in that range.

It's big, all right. And you build this at your house and today we're gonna throw around the dyno see what she'll make. See, we're going for like 700 horsepower, right? Yeah! I Think seven is probably a safe upper safe limit for a Gen One. Okay, so this thing's really cool dude.

I Like some of the Fab stuff you whip together on it, some of that custom tie fabrication goodies put some sprinkles on top. Yeah, Yeah, and you got the motion throttle body with the 90 on there. Oh yeah, I'm talking about brother. Honestly, this looks really sick.

I'm excited to, uh, excited to see what it'll make on the Dyna You know brother, you don't want that thing blowing up. Get a couple pets. Well John a longer spear there if you're good. Holley Terminator There it is sweet.

So how do you get this exhaust off? Uh, you don't. You just take it. You have to take the whole Fender off. There's a big band right here so this man that lives with the car.

but oh, put some rib nuts in it. just kind of leave it with the car permanently. Yeah, all right. So we got the radiator out of something we can't remember.

it might have been toast I'm not 100. Then we got fuel tank out of neighbor from when I crashed into the wall and then um, shifter out of the Blazer Rangers off of El Toro Oh yeah, making it work with what you got. Yeah, right off the gate, this is just what Gabe will make. Yeah, it should make like three and a half pounds and then I'll spray it to where he wants it to be and then James will get the bottle.

We'll probably do it now. Yeah, James will quadruple the power of just the nitrous. How do you feel about that? I Feel like be walking home a little? Yeah, a little? more worried than I Normally there's a fire in the hole so I pretty much trying to get this thing all ironed out figured out for the danger. 30 of your fuel system. That's that's good. 30 on pump I built it all for E90 and then I was like I'm not making enough for E90 I'll just run pump and now I just got a ton of fuel systems. We also have a lot of oil pressure about 85 PSI the whole rim 88.

got you a boost controller? Now dude, hear that? Oh there's something fast. Money Dude. All right, give me that Dyno controller. Raise whatever, be aim for about 15 First Rip: Ty's getting nervous Dude: Foreign Springs in it.

We all probably have to change them controllers on and they've had enough to make a difference. You know it's adding a pound or two or two. Yeah, we're almost maxed out. that was 90 duty cycle which remember on Ruby that'd be like huge swing so need more spring? Ty need more spring Brother spring.

Weld them. Shut up. It's it's got a lot of wastegate on it. It's got 250s you get your some Springs slap them in there tomorrow.

That was 100 so it was fine. It was 90. Oh yeah, all right we. uh, we needed more spring in it.

So we put more wastegate spring in. Where do we go from? We went. We had three pounds of Wastegate spring. We doubled it to six.

so we'll see where that goes too. We're gonna find out. 561 656 towards 561. Sir Sixty Five, Sixty one.

Get in there. That was, uh, seven pounds we made Seven Pounds Yeah now we got something to work with. What's it looking like Mr tuner I mean everything looks pretty freaking dialed. Time to turn it up? Yeah.

I mean ideally I would like it to make More Boots as it climbs I mean whatever you're comfortable with. made 7.3 pounds of boost on that one. It's a 350 Coyote motor. Send it.

No, we can throw some duty cycle at it and see what it'll make I'm not worried about it. all right? Well, I'm glad we got that on camera. Whenever you said that foreign. that's eight pounds of boost a half.

Nice dude. So what percentage was the duty cycle on that? uh, knock valve 40 now. oh, someone's doing something. Yeah, so what I could do? That's 8.6 PSI It looks like it spark knocks maybe once or twice.

Yeah, it did okay. Let me look at the ignition timing see what kind of timing we're running here because she had a little spark knock a rooski the cold pulled like three degrees out just to make it super safe. Which means we're going to have to add a little bit of boost to get back to that number I always want to make it in the 600s and then I think we're probably good I think so too. He said 650s where they started acting funny.

So we'll be about 6 40 or so. Yeah, yeah, I think so. 48 649-ish that's fair. He said 648 649 is a safe zone, right? 650 is a Red Zone Still like 653s probably will let it sit at okay, we'll see what two pounds does I wanted to make seven but the torque's already really hot.
Well I can lay into it later if you want the horsepower. no I want usable whatever is real I can't control the boost down low. it's just making what it's making because the turbo is not that huge. it's a small exhaust.

Yeah, so it's just gonna make what it's gonna make. which is I don't think it's in an unsafe area. Foreign. it was riding it so now we know we need a little bit lower.

number. Yeah, I think we call it there. You got a good running track. The rods are not on the ground.

Very good. 670 Wheels She's a good daily now. So good now. I Don't have to be nervous because the dino session's over.

so exactly I Feel like I already won if it blows up in about 10 minutes. Whatever. Brace your ears my friends. the Blazers back in town Oh I Thought you're gonna say again because it rhymed oh you know I'm the case Your ears again my friends, my friends.

Yeah, we'll work on the jingle later. It's time to fire the Blazer back up. Just when we said we're pulling the motor out, we need the blazer for this weekend, we said through it we're putting a new motor plate in it one last time. Hopefully the water pump Bulls can hold this thing in.

Fire it up Georgie I Feel pressure. That engine's compression is a little uneven, but we're not gonna worry about that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, never get those foreign. It's lean.

Now that's why it's so hot. All right guys. We just idled the blazer for like 10 minutes and we leaned it way out and then we got a piece of cardboard to cover two of these holes to stop some leak by. Good news is we burned off any methanol that was sitting in the oil because the oil's hot now and we are now prepared for streetcar takeover because this thing has to idle for 15 minutes to be able to participate in the streetcar class.

So we feel pretty good about that. now that it's all leaned out, it's not burning a bunch of fuel, it's not milking up the oil. Should be good to make a rip. Only problem is alternator is not working so you're gonna have to go get that puppy replaced.
