the two yellow marks right there so thanks to Traxxas you know got some broken RC car parts in my toolbox they have the perfect size bolt for my tensioner pen threads right in there look at that so things easier it didn't yeah but hey it happened so the whole engine landed on the balancer and dug into our concrete floor pretty deep I think you guys need to sign that yeah I got I got the shark oh here you do the honors good news is the crank is measuring straight measuring straight but the balancer's toast luckily there's this rubber grommet we took the brunt of it flexed a little bit you can see by that yeah but the balancer is actually damaged so Joe called Joe at Five Bar yeah and he had one because the atis are on back order right now yeah so he had a stock one because he upgraded his sent it to us overnight at that so yeah what are you gonna see this so five bar Motorsports thank you guys for the stock balancer we really appreciate it me and Ty really appreciate it we were we were like oh crap we'll just have to get a new one but they're not really out there like we couldn't just get one from the parts store so five bar Motorsports thank you right now is we're building a firewall for the back of the car we have to put a fuel cell back here and we don't want the driver to be in any kind of danger so I'm making this in two halves so this will be the right half that'll be the left half behind the driver it'll have it split up the center and all I did was cut big generic holes to get everything out of the way and then I use tape to quickly uh form a line and then I you know if I need to add something I'll add it on the piece we'll transfer this to aluminum cut it by hand real quick and then we'll fold it up and stick it in the car and make it fit okay so I am covering up this giant hole we have in the back of the trunk and the one thing that is really important is we're making a template we are not making a finished part so when I say that what I'm talking about is cut this thing big and easy to fit in the first try and then you can fine tune around the corners like if you want a radius right here instead of taking this in and out and fitting it exact 37 times cut it big and open like that and then you can take a piece of template paper cut this little piece slide it up to where it fits perfect and tape it on and you can get a template done way faster that way all right I know we're going to be kind of skipping ahead on them because the time lapse has got put away and some hard work got put in it's just thrash mode right now that looks really good man it looks like a bomb went off in here that looks fantastic so you got your template done in the back cut it put it in metal put it in the car with some rivets there clean and then underneath look at look at all this action dude transmission cooler we got a bar support across the bottom hold that big old fuel tank we got our rear end powder coated by Mike's Custom Coatings our same guy who's powder coated all of our stuff and that's a 10 soldiers race car Miranda which we've already showed you it's all done put in dude looking incredible yeah a little bit more I need some love I'm not even gonna show them yet because we're not close enough but I'll give you a quick shot of Ty's firewall that he put in the back of the car to protect the driver from the fuel cell that is back here this is our Drive tank so this is the tank that will hold just pump gas while McFlurry is cruising down the road and then we'll have a smaller tank up in the front of the car that'll be for partying two or three gallon yeah we're getting there if you're out here bud some fuel injector Clinic injectors yes sir I'm about the best oh thank you they're perfect fuel injector Clinic coming in it but just maybe a day or two before the race so McFlurry is a maybe we have the computer we literally have haltech guys here which we're going to show you in the next video we have the fabrication done which all the guys have been thrashing on but we're stuck waiting on our freaking transmission I will tell you guys right away if it comes in but McFlurry is a maybe for sick week right now so
