Leroy is not a fan of tire shake and neither am I... this got violent and ended up causing a huge mess under Leroy and on the track!

We didn't go six but we broke about six hundred dollars worth of stuff. So you take that as you feel. Hey guys, tune in to the Christmas Tree World Championship Tonight on Cletus Mcfarland.com you can purchase the pay-per-view for 10 bucks or if you already have cleaner Vision you get it for free if you're looking for any last minute. Christmas Gifts Clear Vision is a great idea Leroy the Blazer and mullet will be out there ripping Christmas Trees are on and ready to go.

We'll see you on the pay-per-view Hell yeah, brother, you're on the please confirm YouTube channel. Where the hell you go in my car brother? Oh that's right. I should probably do a U-turn then. Oh yeah, All right, nice spark dude.

All right boys, we're back in the track. Leroy 2.0 We are on the Quest for a six. There's another LS Corvette trying to go with six right now. so we're trying to be the first LS to go with six with a stick shift.

But anyways, the last video you saw we actually Twisted the input shaft. So when Zach took the transmission out to look at the clutch input shaft was twisted and cracked. You know we didn't slip enough. That's the problem.

Yeah I locked up a little too quick I Think we uh, are gonna go backwards tonight. we're gonna take weight off the clutch, slip it a lot longer, Yeah. and we're gonna get the six right off the trailer, right? Probably? Well the thing is, we talked to the clutch company and they're like yeah, if you lock it up like that, you're gonna hurt Parts hurt the clutch. They're like it needs to slip more.

Yeah and uh, if it's kicking dust out of it right on the starting line, then your base is too low so we have more bass in it, less counterweight in it so it shouldn't slip really hard and then lock up if that makes sense. so should make some changes. We got Nate here too drum wall which always helps. So while we're here I Gotta Give A big thank you to our buddy Mike Here The right trailers for coming to the County Commissioners meeting and helping us out so find the good fight right in it.

The war, right? It's not over yet. Yeah, Absolutely. I will only ever get a trailer from right trailers because this guy you know, unsolicited called us to help. So all right, we're testing too.

So we love drag racing. Yeah, these guys are dragster out here. Absolutely let's do it all right? Well Sam's giving him the wipe down and we'll go make a rip. Six second day, brother brother, let's go Dude I Feel it? Yeah, you feel it.

Clutch setup goes down. First rip, go to the eighth place it off see what it runs I Think it's gonna go good, you know? I think so. You got your fast helmet. you got your fast suit all right.

Sam got a six. Second shine on that baby today. Boy let's go baby. Foreign.

Okay, All right. just warming up that new clutch. That's all. just a tad.

What are you gonna do? Loosen the rebound? Yeah, just a little bit. Just a little bit of rebound loosening. Let's try it right where you're at. Just go to the right just a little bit.
All right. if it doesn't work, let's get the laptop. Well, a little more. I think we just dropped 100 RPM real quick.

I mean yeah, that's a way to cheat it. Try it. Yeah, the top 200 RPM bro. If it doesn't work, then yeah, go back.

The same thing. What in the world? All right? Well oh, Leroy is bisoned apples all right? Well, a little fudge adjustment probably. and uh, cool her down. I'll tell you what.

Rattle and the tires like that, just really not feel. it doesn't feel great on your whole body. Yeah, just like imagine getting like just shaking for three seconds I Hear you? We'll get it figured out guys. We took some base out of the clutch, which the base pressure is like the first 30 feet before the RPMs get high enough that the counterweight weights really start to push on the clutch.

So with the base turned up so we thought that would work better. but it didn't So we have to go back to our old settings or close to them. We're not back in our old settings, we're just on our way back to our old settings and we'll see if that helps. Smells like racetrack? Let's go all right baby.

Oh my gosh, 110 60 did a bunny hop. It literally shook them before 60.. Yeah, it's still doing. It's back to doing what it was doing before.

Foreign. Oh, he's got it overpowered. It's a whole bunch of juice out of it. That's a really large setting.

Dude, it might require less power to do what I was doing good. So 110 60 foot and then it's fun. Just wanted to show you guys we are at five grams right now. Weight we're gonna take a little.

So let's just say this. washer right here. All right. 4.6 I'd say that's perfect.

We're gonna run without a sloshers. Ignore our scale going all over the place. 4.6 Foreign. another 110 60 foot.

but boy got a little crazy out there. Well 110 too 110 getting out there. but now they're wearing it. Went past 60 foot under power before all that happened.

Yeah, you can see it. that's why. Yeah, the chassis moving around. Foreign.

Yeah, it looked like it got a little sketchy up there. I'm trying to remember if it made it past the one two shift or not. I think he did. Didn't it? It was very close.

it was right at it. Well let's look at the data log, but it was either past the one two shift or right before it and if it would have held. dude, that was a Rowdy one. So maybe we put that timing dip in right on the ship a lot like Maddie with those eyeballs.

Comparison: I Don't know. You're both pretty cute all right guys. Well, after multiple attempts and all two back it up a little bit, reduce the power. Air is so good tonight.

Why didn't you by itself is just making a ton of horsepower so we're backing down the tune up a little bit. Hopefully that'll get us down the track. Let's go later on. here.
We go. Here we go. Dang it. Thank you.

Ripped the rear end out of the car. Holy. He ripped the rear end down. Brick.

Dude. Oh there's a puddle. Holy crap, What happened. It ripped it ripped away.

Oh no. that's why it's shaking. so bad going out there and the third member's trying to come out of the door. No, that's why that's what happens from it shaking.

so bad. What in the world? Every single one of them? So they ripped the bolts out. I'm just gonna have to pull the rear end apart. Yeah, you can redo the plate.

We probably have room for the I can't go to a thicker plate, but what I can do is weld something on the back side of the Ring area so we have more thread engagement. Normally they're like dog like. this is too thin right here. Yes, so that's what all your bolts has to grab.

There's nothing on the back side so I can double the thickness. but I have to do it from the back side because I can't push the pinion forward or else damn that would have sucked if it destroyed our drive shaft. I Don't know how you didn't blow that thing apart. Dude, that's those drive shafts below.

Like every time you have a problem like this, normally a bad tire Shake sometimes could take them out so well folks, that's what tire Shake will do to you. I Only shook the tires many times tonight until we in fact rip the third member out of our rear end back to the shop for repairs. Leroy goes. It's always like we get the the number like whatever it is.

Nine, eight, seven point zero and then everything goes to hell every single time. Like the car doesn't know it's trying to get past. you know, a digit of seven? It just is going as fast as it can. But why is it? Every time? it's 70, 80, 90.

everything explodes. If it was easy, everyone would do it right. Thinking about joining everyone taking up figure skating. Golly dude.

what in the world? What in the world Jinkies? I'm pulling out, pulling everything I Got out right now. What tardy pretty much G Willis Just as we thought, you know, we switched from that Corvette transmission. We're like we'll never break a nine and a half inch pro gear. Man my jam a straight axle.

Here we are. It's been a fantastic test session. Not only did we total the Blazer ruined everything we have for the Christmas Tree good, Looks like both will be fine. I Think yeah, you could probably fix this tomorrow.

Yeah, all right, we'll get the laser fixed. We're just out here doing our thing, you know? McFarland Racing Break Fix Repeat Yeah I Saw Sam buff in the rear end earlier I think he buffed it too thin? Yeah. Give me your gold star for the day. All right.

Well we didn't go with six, but we broke about 600 worth of stuff. So you take that as you feel. that's it for now. Thanks for watching.

Do it for now. See you later. Probably I should look Oh yeah. Blackhawk that's actually my ride coming to pick me up so you guys are gonna have to push us back.

Is it possible that the wishbone that was previously causing issues due to lack of lubrication now has so much grease in a non-vented tube that it is essentially seized again?

I'm willing to bet those bolts were loose before you did these launches. Those split washers are a scourge, and in my experience, don't even hold initial fastener torque. Get rid of em, go for Nord Lock and use blue Loctite.

I've said it before and will say it again. You push things to the limits and beyond and they break, then you fix it and get faster until you break more things and improve more. That's the story of this type of racing. You're learning and having a blast, who can ask for more.

Hey Cletus u should of had studs in the 3rd member an hardened arp studs an I’m thinking that the rear end needs longer or shorter control arms I would take a good look at them I would call tin soldiers in an talk to them

1400 hp power problems: break the cheap stuff first. That car and team would benefit from 3-axis sensors on the wheels, rear axle, and chassis as well as a data logger to record the g-loading. Leroy is one of the most expensive paint can mixers around,
