Well guys, we need to align Leroy's steering wheel a little bit, but hey, we're on the road. We got a spark pushing me Ty back there we're heading to the drag strip to make some licks in Leroy today which makes me really excited because we get to actually do some good testing. Good old private test session goes a long ways with these race cars so it's not like a rush for World Cup like we were last time and we're actually gonna have some time to mess with the car and hopefully get it going good. I Would love to get all like a 7, 60 or 750 today. Leroy's previous personal best was a 767 so let's hope we can get down the drag strip a little bit quicker than that today. That would make me a real happy look at this guy pulling up in his. Grand Prix Yeah yeah, let's see what that thing all right. So guys, we figured out a couple things with Leroy bouncing. the wishbone seemed to be bound up. You can't do that. That's honestly all we did. so hopefully if it's bouncing today down the track, but we probably will. it's a little Ripper McGee right here Dude: a little Ripper McFarland Same size as my Turbo don't a little river dude I'm looking for a little Eighth Mile hit in Leroy turn the power down a little bit so we're hoping it'll just go I need to be nothing insane. You know what I mean. All right Leroy Back at the track foreign, let's go I Don't think it bounced at all. It didn't bounce at all I didn't hear anything. whoa Leroy I Saw 117 60 foot Okay, there is something about this car so sick. We were making about 10 pounds of boots in first gear, ramped up to about 17 in second and then third about 17 as well. So gonna put a little bit more boost in it and try and get a 490 something in the eighth here. and I'm also going to raise the launch RPM and try and cut down the 60 foot a little bit. All right, a little more launched RPM A little more boost out the back. let's see what it does, all right baby. Leroy The Savage Pass number two. All right Leroy on the brakes. We're coming for a seven today. Nice Rip 116. Five picked up almost a whole number to the 331 324 and then went a 10th a whole tent faster to the eighth one. 494 at 144. Oh yeah, almost 145. look at that. Let's go Dude brother, this thing is a unit. Let's go dude. Check that unit out right there. What are we working with here? 494 We're at 144 in the eighth to die I Like to see what I like to see? Yeah, she's going to seven. I added a little bit of boost and I felt it and uh, seemed like everything worked there. so that's that's tight. no bouncing that I felt I think we're moving in the right direction? That was a ripper. Yeah! I Want to disclaim: We have no professional tuners on site. It's a clean tune. Anything can happen from this point forward. Yeah, we got a good running engine. Can't promise you anything in an hour. No bounce dude. I mean there's a little shimmy but the before is I'm so happy. just a little bind up crazy Vine yeah James Also, you know dropped the tire pressure a bit. Oh yeah, yeah, we're down to what 16. nice see what kind of boost we made up here about 21.

We got 100 RPM more on the launch, one extra pound of boost and the Boost ramps faster than it was before. Tuned up. a little suspension adjustment in the back. foreign dude 754 183. dude it looked like it was barely moving. it was slowing it before I Thought he was going to get out of it, but still keeping it at 754 183. Uh, slow down at the 60 foot because he went in deep. but uh, 322 45 9 picked up some more mile an hour. Oh my gosh, 754 183. I Don't know what happened in the video, but that's right. Yeah, he was gonna get out of it, but he just finally put it in fourth and it went out the back. Yeah, could have been a 74th fastest Leroy has ever been a 40 pass right there or something. Definitely dude, you didn't uh do that Granny Ship right? All right? Oh leader, Yeah! Leroy The chefs were hitting so fast that I was like oh crap and then I hit the shift. It just it worked. So good on that run. Oh man, it would have been so much faster if I made the shifts but I was like really delayed. you're in the car. it's like waiting for me to change the gear. Oh man, idiot dude. Wow, that really got me by surprise. Really caught me by surprise there. I think we slipped through the clutch a little bit on that one too, so we're probably gonna have to put some weight on it. but hey I felt pretty darn good. Boys parachute out on Leroy that's a good feeling. He has no idea that he just broke Leroy's record brother. Those chefs are so sweet brother. You're Driving Miss Daisy over here I forgot you're going to church. They came up on me quick I thought that that that was it. After third and then it goes oh seven, seven before dude 485 at 146 in the eighth. Oh wow, look how slow it was. Slower than the first pass with those third shifts. Dude, are you kidding me? How insane. Holy crap. 117 60 foot 322 to the 330 485 lower than that first pass. Bro 754 Yes sir. dude, it looked like it was just cruising. Looked like it was nothing. You guys realize we are flying flying stick car. now. turn it up. Holy crap, let's go Leroy 2.0 baby all the way. Yeah yeah. I'm sorry about the ships guys. listen I do it again. That's no clutch adjustments. That's only tie adjusting the suspension when we're having issues so backed it up. He made some clicks, moved out get the chassis tuned up too. Boy, my shift was three tenths of a second. Yeah! I put them in a 740 or 7 30.
all right, so we need to put a little bit of weight on the clutch. It blew through it a smidge on that one. and then we need to put uh I think I'm gonna rev it higher too. Okay, and then I'm not gonna suck at shifting so let's just throw. let's just, uh, get a weight off and measure it real quick What we've got on there? All right, sounds good. Let's go guys. let's go. That's a good move. It's a good rip. It made some boost on that one. 25 pounds dude. 25 pounds. you can run it out 35 so that means about 40. well, you're around about 40. I gotta be a little more ready this time. It's all happening a little faster than I Remember yeah I was like oh, he's just lifting her Three four is the easiest shift I know I was just in there freaking chilling eating a Thanksgiving dinner. Oh oh wait, hold on. it's because I was hitting the screen I got distracted. distract. gotta be on my game. All right guys. We got about uh, we put nine grams on the clutch 100 RPM in the leaves. same boost though. Then we had about three pounds of boost through the whole curve so it's gonna leave it a lot harder. go a lot faster. I think it's gonna leave a ton harder but should go faster and I tightened up the shift Point 100 RPM and added 200 RPM to the shift point. So it's going to shift higher and quicker as long as I remembered it. Hold it here and what you got on the scramble? No scramble I mean no I put what was on the I hit the scramble last time. So I put what I had on the scramble all night. Okay, perfect. So all in all, a little faster. All right. Leroy Looking for a little better than that? Seven Five. All right. Leroy Let's go. Did you see that? 60 . Dude, let's go 7 31 at 188 Oh my God Oh my God Oh Leroy Whoa whoa. Those shifts were a little better I Still think they can be tighter but those were good. Hey really quick I wanted to address everyone. Keeps bringing up the Sparks back here. those are the brakes. I'm going 180 miles an hour. The brakes throw Sparks That's how all brakes are. You guys just aren't used to seeing them exposed right here. That's the problem. Totally normal. If I showed you a shot of Mullet's brakes on the big end, you'd be astonished by how many Sparks and stuff come off of them working. Now it is 308 at a 330.
goodness Dude boy, you're gonna be happy. Oh my gosh Dude Leroy is flying. Oh Ripper that's that's under 30 pounds of boosters Leroy 31. 00 that's faster than Ruby Leroy faster than Ruby Oh My gosh, look at it. 112.60 foot, 308 to the 330 470 flat to the eighth at 148, 7, 31 and 188. Let's go. let's go! Great job guys! Everyone else right now is stick shift. It goes 7 30s is going 200. short track on this thing is just. it's so smooth and easy in here now. No bounce, none of that crap. Whoa. We just went from our personal best of a 767 down to a 731 and four runs. He's just getting started. Holy crap dude, that 60s Boy Leroy Boy does that feel good guys that feels real good. So I mean this car has a lot of potential. I'll look at the data log but I'm pretty sure we're only running like 26 pounds of boost. We can run about 35. a nice 27 pounds of boost. Look how hard the Boost chilled off in third I felt third like dying off. it actually yanked it to Fourth before I hit the rev limiter. Yeah, because it was. Actually it felt like the car was decelerating. So I just yanked it and then the Boost came right back up and fourth and just ripped. Dude, that's nothing. 22 pounds of boost in third, 26.9 number in my Boost graph is 22 pounds. Oh my gosh, dude. Fire me up. Oil pressure: Solid oil pressure is doing the usual dry sump or wet something where it falls off as it goes. Damn boy. shout out to Performance Shout out to Texas Speed sorry we blew up that other engine. look at that ain't fixed and uh Hey shout out to RPM Transmissions this new transmission boy Ripper sucker is solid. 10 soldiers on the rear end stuff.     You talk about sparks on the big end but the sparks when you'd leave off the line (clutch) is what I figured more people would notice that and freak out about. The brakes were the obvious thing sparking down the end of the track.

    2.0 is a completely different chassis, like Tom Bailey's. Hearing someone say "my car's name 2.0" is kinda dumb. It's still just Leroy.

    It wasnt mentioned how much time could be made up in the 1/8th if you got that boost issue sorted in third gear. theres potentially a tenth there by it having 10 more psi in the second half of the eighth! Cant wait to see a 6 on 35psi in 3rd and 4th
