Black and white flag any over aggressive drivers before a black flag. Some sort of signal to all to pull up immediately, as most of the carnage was after the crash. Reuse the old seatbelt buckles to make the door nets to drop down in emergency.

Do not let outsiders dictate what you do , A lot of these people who are criticizing you do not understand what it takes to run these events and what you have to go through and insurance.People are going to criticize you always because youโ€™re the organizer youโ€™re the big dog and haters are gonna hate

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tourรจ says:

let the drivers deposit a 5000-10,000 and they get refunded if they didn't cause an huge accident (clean driving) otherwise they are gone. or award the clean driving and penalise the dirty driving based on that money system.

Have to draw a nascar comparison as I watch it the most. Accidents happen even with professionals and millions of dollars of engineering and years of experience. There have probably been just as large of wrecks at Bristol that happened with Nascar or other motorsports vehicles.

I don't see why anyone can criticize the safety especially when in the end the drivers were all able to walk away. I know many don't want to see people get hurt or see accidents happen, but they aren't called "accidents" for nothing. As long as you are going to push a vehicle to its limits and put that same vehicle next to many other vehicles just like it, the chances for error or a wreck are just going to be high.

So, all you can do is fix the netting so it can be pulled down and do whatever minor improvements you see fit. To the critics or those with their underwear on too tight. Don't watch or don't participate if you were one of those drivers.

Gloves to be worn by competitors – kyle from boosted bois was lucky he wasnt badly burned when the radiator drenched him and his only way out was the window the water was coming thru

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars gafrers says:

The ones moaning and attacking KSR are the worse. Especially since it comes from members of the teams that weren't in the car.

    Racing is inherently unsafe.ย
The danger is what makes it fun. And exiting to watch.ย
Take that away and you take the excitement away.ย

Seeing the end of this crash the cars are safe enough. But learn from it.ย
The driver door nets. Is the roll cage tubing thick enough? Are the welds holding up? If so. Then it is good enough.

have a light on the dash that with a remote to warm the pilot from the outside

A real raceseat with leg supports and head supports like in leroy & mullet. Deegan moved so much during the impact.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daniel Edwards says:

So Kevin rubbed a little too hard on the back of Nics car, rubbing is racing isn't it, as he said in his apology video, he saw the chance to be in the lead of a race at Bristol and he took that chance.
Good on you Kevin, you're a good dude and a fierce competitor, those things are both positive attributes.
As far as car safety goes, I think you're on the right track Cleeter, a few minor tweaks like removable window nets and making sure drivers take their own safety seriously by wearing all the correct safety apparel is the right way to go.
There's people who will keep on complaining about safety no matter what you do, don't waste your time listening to that negativity. You should be commended on the effort put in by both yourself and your crew in putting on incredible events and attracting new blood into the car culture, well done Sir

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Geoff McMillan says:

In Kyle's in-car view he didn't even have gloves on, that's basic safety and pretty ordinary considering someone's already been burnt at an event. Get a NASCAR safety rep in to go over everything before someone gets killed

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Clinton Haney says:

Please invite the millennial farmer back he's a hell of a driver

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jones says:

Seeing how bummed out Kevin was immediatly after crash and owned up to his mistake immediatly to Cleetus and in his video makes the SXS hit piece video even worse.

What do you think could change to make the races better??
