You guys really need to start taking hearing protection seriously. Get some electronic hearing protection up in the shop. You can talk like normal in between starts and not go deaf from loud noises.

The cam is already going flat with those Edelbrock heads and idling the engine.
No, the needles under the shooters are a one way valve, allowing fuel to be pumped out of the nozzles, but when you let off the throttle, all the fuel is drawn from the float bowl, otherwise the fuel would just draw back into the accelerator pump chamber.
