The blazer guy doesn't stop no. I told him not to do it i know so here we are unfortunately we got some weather. So we're kind of waiting for the rain to die off hopefully we get to run tonight. But the cars are just sitting in here resting george drinking.
A sprite getting fired up get my sugar up you know i don't want to be slow. Yeah. This is peak redneck life driving the motor home to texas roadhouse. I've always wanted to pull up in front of one of these and honk.
My horn. Now we're going right up front on this thing. We're eight people we gotta all get out at the same time to make the effects. The side.
Oh is it always right here wait for it here. We are load up kids come on they said an hour and a half. But they like our rv. So i'm good ready to rip today son.
Driving ruby huh all right all right. It's almost like we all got to run the streetcar class all right yeah. Yeah. There's three they separate into three classes.
So we'll see elsa is warming up blazers out shining turbos are spinning bacon is cooking we got sam put some spray wax on fair enough dude. The blazer sounds crazy what is following you is gnarly just going to the tech lane. This is how you idle in a big blower car baby. That's okay.
It's lonely at the top man ruby's a bad unit dude. Yeah. That car is so thick sometimes when she sits in the corner of the shop you forget how cool. She little is test for ruby's been a while not working.
Unbelievable that one should be yeah. What so classic ruby guys we pull over here and her trans brake stops working so the solenoid that engages the trans brakes. So we can do a two step check isn't working and we got eliminations in a few minutes. I haven't heard my girl ruby doing two step tests in a while the wires ripped out of the button.
So we're back. So. When you drive this car you got to have your left foot on the brake. It was just really otherwise it does this i just wanted to see what it did yeah.
No it's your first time driving it so i put it pretty firm. It'll still push through the brakes out of retirement 8 15. And 140 now we got mulled up for his first pass that seems super spicy that seemed extremely spicy maybe a little too spicy about our girl ruby though making it look easy on any track. Like she always used to that's awesome appears that she's not making this type of horsepower.
So she's still just i love that car seeing it go down. It's been a while makes me happy looks like we're just gonna coast. This one out lots of wheel speed there track one ready for it looks. Like we pulled up a little bit of uh concrete right.
There now for the real beat. Oh. My goodness golly wow. Dang it dang it dang it dang it dang it dang it dang.
It that's my bad not ideal folks not ideal. I really hope i didn't hurt the blazer. I definitely broke the motor plate dang it man. I think he might have crashed uh she looks like she's leaning a little right down there yeah we broke our motor plate and i got no steering. Now how big was that big bumper. There well tow hitch has uh rubber on it she hasn't done that in a while all the wheels were off the ground. It was like this i tried to shift it fast. I just wasn't fast enough dude.
But we're out here. Oh. My god oh my gosh. Yeah.
Yeah. That's it right your back. Did. It actually now it feels like i just left the chiropractor.
Oh. You made the best lick out all three of us at least it went down. Though yeah you know i spun the blazer. I didn't want to do a burnout went to the moon.
I'm gonna have to play with the yeah. The blaze is wrecked it's destroyed i didn't see it i saw him taking up the grill. Though yeah. Yeah.

How do you feel after that drive of shame over here terrible did everyone look at you like an idiot before when we had it just ratchet strap down it did a little power wheeling. You know just rolled out with it so i was like all right.
But then it kept going and i just tried to shift and i was like i know you were in the throttle. While it was in the air. I was like wow guy i really didn't want to lift it's just qualifying dude. Yeah.
I was just trying to get a good run you know i know i know definitely did not think. It was going to do that dude look how the motor plate is bent away. It's got an actual crease hey. It still runs so that's a plus.
But since the motor plate is so screwed up guys just leaking water right out in the front of the block and to run in the streetcar class. We got to do a 10 mile cruise. So stop it well it's what happens. When you let nate tune.
It you know. It's like just kidding. They literally said. Second.
Gear. Lead. Which it definitely wouldn't have done that yeah. Yeah looks like the mid plates bent up too push.
Backwards maybe. I don't know george is that new that looks brand new that definitely was not that bad. I don't know what this is it might have pushed the whole front end up yeah. I mean i doubt it bend the frame.
Because you've done this before and it was fine so it might just be a midplate tomorrow. We might be back in action. Yeah. Why you got lucky i don't know how many more times.
You're gonna get lucky buddy. I don't know how many more wasn't that bad times crazy. Yeah. We might just have to push the front end down well guys. The mid plates crease too wow. So all right guys well the blazer's done. I just wanted to update you because there's so many people here that rip our videos. I want to get this video out soon.

Am I the only one who thinks George just doesnโt have enough experience behind the wheel of something like that to be driving it so aggressively? Maybe thatโs how you gotta do it, but seems to me he doesnโt have the reflexes and knowledge he needs to drive a race car of that magnitude safely. With all that said he is and always will be a much better driver than me and has already driven the hell out of that thing and laid down some nasty passes, but from day one Iโve just thought about what will happen when he gets squirrelly at the top end

Might be time for some training wheels out the back of the Blazer 'till George learns how to control all them bald eagles.
You want me to enter a draw I just want to see the work on the blazer, put any prize towards nose weights or a dry sump for the blazer.
Step 1 Getting the weight balance right is the key for a short wheel base is it needs to be nose heavy. One easy way is water tanks in the nose till you know the amount of weight to add to not wheelie.
Step 2 With it heavy tune it to be predictable in the wheelie (without a driver swap) and remove weight from the nose as you tune and learn to setup the chassis.
Step 3 You need to fold the top and bottom edge of your engine plates 90 degrees (or get your awesome fabricator to weld on a stiffener and maybe some small gussets) to stop twisting and flexing of the plates.
Step 4 Add some more mount points into that front plate or brace the top of the motor to the strut tower in the direction of the power (Top of motor to right strut if looking from the bumper).
Step 5 You need to jack up the rear and set the suspension links BEFORE you race to make the car nose heavy before you start, this way as it lifts the nose it transfers more weight into the chassis earlier also that top motor to strut brace may twist the chassis causing it to drive right.
Step 6 Restart the engine tuning from a consistent drivable point for each track or class.
All the tuning is in the rear end making the wheelie long predictable and slow, the geometry that worked best for this (for me at the track) was the top back links were higher at the diff than the body and lowers were pointing at the middle of the back of the seat (Real wrong for street driving). Basically, no 2 situations are the same hell I've run a pb, did an oil change and it didn't run the same.
That Blazer will go and will be consistent just like Ruby. Look at the chassis tuning you put into Ruby and Mullet 1.0 and once done the car just went the motor was the next weak point. Both the Blazer and Mullet need chassis tuned to get the power to the ground and get it off the line, traction control is a safety feature to save the car not make it faster ๐ also you have a lot less water in mullet so less weight it and weight has moved so needs rebalanced.
I have removed horsepower from a car, the chassis has worked better and gone faster, I suspect Mullet is outdriving the suspension and chassis setup and the Blazer is a far more complex chassis to tune as there are no small fine changes on a short chassis, short links, short shocks bad angles and lots of power.
Watch your Blazer Dyno video and watch the rear wheels try drive under the car off the dyno strapped down, that is really poorly setup for a SWB drag racing and why it is lifting the nose you want to have it rear static or get slightly longer from my experience but as above I don't have the car, tune, data or setup so you guy's do what you think is best just record it and post it up, VERY FEW WOULD KNOW WHAT IS INVOLVED IN CHANGING A CAR FROM ROAD TO TRACK OR DRAG RACE MODE OTHER THAN A FEW UP ARROWS ON A KEYBOARD AND CHANGING TYRES.
