But since there's some drive days on race week, i figured i'd throw this right in the mix because some days we won't make a full video out of we'll be back to race week, content tomorrow. Is this weekend at the freedom factory and i will be driving the mustang there, so you should definitely come check it out i'll, be totally untested, ripping it all weekend. So we fly right back from race week to go test in the mustang and then compete the next day. So what could go wrong? Call me and say: okay, i need the car, that's what's gon na happen. Dude, you got some tore up race cars in here, huh yeah! Well, that happens. You know when you got guys by the name of adam ld and chelsea de nova on your team. Yeah yeah they're pronouncing that i mean you know: cleves mcfarlane's not been known to bring a clean car back to the shop either come on.

Man come on, oh man. Well, i guess people already read the titles. They know something cool yeah. Let's go see this thing.

There, oh, is that it right there i mean it could be freaking fire me up all right, let it rip dude, yes, dude brand new baby, everyone looks strange. The whole team just loves the look yeah like they went from wanted white, never been a thing, and now it is and everyone's like totally yes yeah. I can't wait to put marks all over this. We got ta pop the hood, though. Okay, the the wrap is sick. Fun have a wrap, is looking good, but wait till you guys see under the hood brother, fresh off the dyno too huh now yep. So it's off cornet racing 428 late model motor, it rips it revs to the moon.

It's uh 9000 is like super safe. We got the chip at 85.. Can you hit the chip in it or you can hit it, but don't like live on it yeah. You know, is it solid roller? It is, i believe, yeah yeah, i'm going to connect you with jack cornett.

So you can know everything about it. Holy collino, dude looks so good. These things just look sick too yeah, i feel she's warm. Can we fire it up? She is one bad unit here, buddy reliable.

This is this is built to actually drift hey hit the uh throttle linkage, yeah. No, that's how you get all the all the throttle response there, yep itb yeah. No, this is you touch it no joke. I basically hit up vaughn just so you guys know the story i hit up on.

You know obviously he's like you're gon na be calling me right after round one clutch kickers to buy this car hit him up. I'm like hey man. How much you want for that car he's like well i'll, sell to you, but i got to set it up my way, and this is how this is, how he set it up. So here we are, i mean i kind of was like.

Maybe we should uh. Do an ls and then he's like nah he's like no this car, it's staying like this, not a chance. He says he knew if he gave it to us without an engine it potentially could end up with an ls. So here we are.

I want to do it all right. Come aboard jesus, what the hell - oh my god, dude. It sounds. Legit like the late model i drove.

It's got a super small seven and a half inch clutch. Okay, quarter master um, dude super small white, flywheel revs to the moon super fast. It sounds like legit yeah. You know we got all this room up here.

This is kind of the crumple zone. We don't want to get past that huh, that's the crumbles on. I got a bunch of spares yeah all spares, i'm going to walk you through hell, yeah dude. Oh my gosh.

I can't believe the sound reppin penn's oil too yup. Yes, sir yeah and nitto. You know the deal come on. Oh we're money.

I can't even see her with a hood in here: they're like chelsea to nofa dude like vaughn, getting junior, i'm getting junior junior, now yeah fun, getting junior jr dude just think those are a little like little baby. Ribs! Imagine hearing this unit up there. Eighty-Five screams you got ta grab just reach out and grab this look at the inside of this door. She's like she's, not heavy.

You keep all your stuff right here, oh yeah, whatever you need dude fun. This is this is crazy yep. I am scared. We got some fresh parts under here, too eh yeah, we put uh so back in the day we limited steering angle because speed was a huge factor in fd, and i know now you know.

Obviously now everyone wants angles. So we put scotty d designs, uh front end kit on here. It's got a ton of steering angle and plenty adjustability. Oh really, really nice kit yeah, it looks sweet and then obviously, we've got an amazing new tire.

So, like we're gon na do a bit of development together yeah to get this car back. You know where we understand the full box. You know 2014. I had every note for any track that you needed, but we got a little bit of adjusting to do, but the good news is, it's all going the right direction and it's going to yeah fire me up man.

This is crazy. All right guys so doing some adjustments and off the record von gave us a full explanation of strategy for the car. You know just what we can start with at least, but we've only got one day of practice for clutch kickers and today and today, so i'm trying to keep it as stupid, simple and then we'll evolve. Yeah later i mean like i was explaining like this is a weapon and you can either use it.

You know as a semi, auto or a single shooter or you can put on full auto. You know like it's, it's just a you know we'll have to get there like you're, not gon na extrapolate every ounce out of this car this first weekend. So i wanted to get you something. That's fun easy to drive.

That's got the speed that you would need to do well at clutch kickers and then we'll just continue to evolve. Yeah because it gets complicated. Like here's four different sway bars we can put in it to tighten or loosen the the grip but we'll get there. We'll get there so good that'll become super.

Second nature. You know, yeah, i mean 20 years. We do this at the drag strip. So i imagine we can uh start to learn from your ways.

It's literally a it's a dirt track. Slash drag race car that goes on asphalt. That's that's a good way to look at it. I love how this is live axle.

It's been my first uh straight axle car, you know, so that makes it super super simple um we do have plates in there that give it toe yeah um change, so there is toe in on it. But it's just a lot less to worry about. You know, and so and it's got the capability of drive you'll see how fast this thing is. Well, we are making some adjustments the guys working on some stuff and then we're gon na go out and drive this thing, but check out that big old rear axle got a quick change, diff, so you're buying this yeah, i'm giving you all this.

Oh. I appreciate that so i hope i don't need too many of those. So these are all our spares, so spare panhard two rear bash bars. Basically, this will touch the wall first yeah bend in so it doesn't nose you into the wall, so you need this.

Is this is the rear bar that this bolts to so this is your crush panel aluminum? Then steel got it right so that folds easy that does not. You may get into that, and if you do, you have one to replace again, i would do jigs or draw these yeah. This is your front one, okay, cool, so that this bolts to that sweet drive, shaft spare drive, shaft um. You've got two spare composite panels for each side: one two: three left side: wings: two spare wings, wow uh, steering spacer and rack.

Two headlights rear deck lid; two front; fenders, one rocker really cleaned out the back room; huh. We really did all right brother. Are you ready, dude? Yes, i think so yeah. It looks so good.

Oh there he goes. Oh, that thing sounds mean wow all right. So if you guys remember the fox here's one of my old fenders off it from when i tore it up a little bit signed it, and since we got a new batch of the flight squadron t-shirts, we got a brand new batch of these on funhour.com. We're going to put this fender in just a random order, we're going to give it to you and we might actually we're going to have your steering wheel too.

Oh okay, why are you just really donating all my purses, maybe we'll just throw that in order took this new fun? However, when they just came in today, so that is so fresh, we got the eye too italian. We got an off road in two colors and on the cheekbones, all right cool, damn right. They got to move the steering rack, so she's not going to be fully dialed for today, totally fine, because we're not picking the car up for a week, but but this is the only time we had to test scar before rocky mountain race week. The next time you'll see this we'll be at clutch kickers, which is in one week at the freedom factory. We get home friday night i'll, be testing saturday qualifying saturday competing rookie me this thing's scary, hey! Well, there's uh, not many people in the world that have an rtr. I know i feel like a drift car.

I wish i had a race suit on because i'm like i'm like this thing's a race car, bro, hey, thank you vaughn, i'm excited dude yeah, i mean, let's start, let's drop tire pressure with some grip. Basically, it's in one piece, slightly tested couple things: we're gon na fix and change, but uh yeah we're done so rock and roll in the shop.
