Hell yeah brother you're on the policeman for on youtube channel: hey kevin. I don't think i've said it yet on this trip, but buenos dias. That thing is so cool we're up and at it boys, 6 00 a.m valve last job we're closer to the track today. So we don't have to get up as early got ta pop the hood last, the valves at ten thou, and then we are done with that for racing.

We'll have a little drive to the track, we'll get their valves be good. That's our morning, routine. Last two valves, and then you got ta lash, the valves for the street drive. You got ta put them back in race mode.

So that's why we keep doing that, but uh we get to the track, change oil. You know taking really good care of this engine, or at least trying to still ronald sounded fine over there great it's probably our plug wires, all right. Well, we can only get six cylinders up and going right now. Some reason we got two dead on this side.

I think it might be our beat up plug wires, but not sure yet ran when parked not sure what happened overnight all right. Well, we changed out a couple spark plugs what the heck dude don't want to run over there all right so guys. For some reason, we think we have a coil problem. We got like hot coils on that side.

These ones are nice and cool, so we may be uh yeah. There should be plenty of people with coils at the track, though maybe we can borrow some slap them on and run it type deal. I don't know all right. Well, we swapped some coils around.

Let's see if uh we get, some heat in cylinder sticks which hasn't fired all morning, go ahead. Okay, so we got bad coils. I feel like that may be a part of our other electrical gremlins that we've been having if they don't have anywhere to dump the spark like say when it fired up this morning, like the plugs were really wet and fouled yeah. It can lead to hurting the coils.

That's what i've heard a man in his spark plugs and his rice crispy treats so guys midwest dragon week has a summit racing trailer that follows the race track to track. They had a full set of eight smart coils in their trailer, so one of the summit guys is running it over we're gon na slap them on, and we should be good to go all right delivery via hellcat. We now have full set smart coils for dialed ready when you are. That sounds like always: oh man, what the heck mullet that was stressful, that new buddy.

That was a little bit of an eventful morning, but we are on the road on all eight cylinders, running good cars, pretty dirty with the rain and driving on the dirty roads, but we're on the road man that feels good all right. So this is driveway 42. In ohio, look at this, that's pretty cool all right. It up the lane.

First pass the drag lane 42 got a pretty spicy tune-up in it it's a little bit spicier than that 708 same boost, but the boot's just coming in a little earlier. So it may go real best. It may spin we're gon na see, there's a good face down, but not a lot of glue. So definitely i mean you don't have to like freaking john force it and fly out the whole sky out, but do something more than you did yesterday: okay, let's try and get some decent heat into them.
There yeah same thing here, guys rained last night, so they spent hours trying to prep the track, but it's just not going to be as good as yesterday. Probably all right, we go all right. We got something going on well, we basically just did the dumbest thing. You can do at a drag strip, basically the cardinal sin of drag racing.

We left the oil cap freaking off and that's what shot all that oil on the dock created made a mess, drag racing was down for a little bit, which we feel really bad about, but uh they're back up and going so we're gon na get back in Line and and let some people run, try again put our heads down a little bit hey at least we know it won't, take the hit we had in it. I don't think it's on oil for sure yeah sun's coming out, though, so maybe the track will get a little better, all right, well, combination of spinning the tires oil, whatever we still turned it down a little bit, because we don't think the track is going to Be able to take a 7-0 hit, so let's see what it does. Man, the dude in front of me just straight up, crashed holy smokes that sucks yeah. This guy just got something under his tires from his own launch right.

When he launched a bunch of fluid launched out, got right under his tire and boom. They just prepped a little bit. Hopefully we can get down through there, but we still slowed the car down from the first attempt because it kind of tore up the starting line. Let's see how it does here morning.

Okay, guys, we found part of the problem, there's a lot of water in our doors. That's why i went so hard right. I was like dang that went hard right yeah. It was like looking at the graph, it's smooth, smooth, like rock it up, which we did turn the trash control off there.

You go whoops that might be part of the issue, so all that water is from the door holy toledo, we drilled the drains, though we never did that got ta have drains hey they're out there, making a full pole with the sprayer. I know that's so exciting. I would love to not spin the tires. That'd be cool right, that'd, be awesome, all right mullet.

Let's do this got a boy all right, there's something 701! Oh, come on man we probably could have been spicier on the tune-up. Crack was good. We probably could have been spicier, it's all good. We got her down through there boys.

That was about too much freedom for me to stop barely made the turn off. Yeah good thing. Those motion, strengths parachutes, got all the stopping powers. I love having compression after a path like that dude.

That's why i bought the big box. We can run it like this and it's happy man the brakes are squishy. I do the main dvm brakes. Dude.

The parachutes were not enough. The brakes are working hard. 701. At 208.
- oh, my god, one brother, 208, 701.. You run back. That was cool. That was cool, i'm guessing you! Never let off the scramble.

I did really. I don't know we don't need. We don't need more power up top. We got that all the power up.

Top we need it down low all right. I think. If we throw 100 rpm at the leave or maybe a pound of boost at the leave, it's got some room to go in that 60 foot. I think the track will hold it.

I mean we just pick up one number to the 60 foot: it'll go with six, so yeah 315 dude 465 at 165. horsepower brother. Let's see if we can go 210. well, the shutdown is pretty challenging for me and the brakes.

So, let's, let's not twice a mile per hour up any more than we have to all right, so all early, all right, big cool down coming up boys, this just in people our first pass holding 30 pounds of boost 209 baby, almost 209 miles an hour. Oh, we got until 40., so i'm just kidding. We want to go quicker quicker. All right.

You ready shortened up our boost. Ramp, mm-hmm, hmr gummy bears just a little more is all we need buddy. Let's go you ready, i'm ready brother. Let's do this so yeah, 699.

208 i'll. Take it. Oh brother yeah. Oh my gosh, thank goodness for these breaks that felt good kevin's not smiling.

Yes, i dare you to play my emotions. Like that. Hey we got our 6.99. I was hoping for about a 95 based off the changes i made, but dude it's okay.

What did we want this week? A six there? We got it and we freaking got it. We may have barely got it, but we got it. We got it, but we got it 208. Dude that shut down not enough for 208.

Don't try that at home, kids, hey they run hit run baby. Let's go all right: kev, look one! Twenty four 60 foot nice and slow through there yeah very soft and then a 313 330. You know when it went a six the first time it went a 3-0 like 303 10th slow to the 330 462 in the eighth at 165., 6.99 baby. Let's go three: let's pack it up, we got to go to edgewater yeah.

We do fire me up, come on guys, fire me up well, after melting lots of plug wires. We have our solution. Yeah, some fire coolers yeah. We got some fire cores with the high temp boot and a shield to go over them.

That should help do the trick. I think these are fancy dude yeah, that's the pro mod ones. Those are super nice. Ah, you know just filling up our six second street car official six second street car - i mean it was official before, but now that we've done it in competition, it feels a little better, even better 208 mile hour street car.

Hey. You want to give this a hitch, an inspection, real, quick underneath there. Okay, let me just finish this: there we go 10 gallons or so and we'll be good. What do you estimate our fuel mileage? Is i don't know if they are about this eight or nine sounds all right? I haven't really tried to work on the tune up much to make it hyper a hyper miler or anything yeah.
How bad is it we can put a bunch of stuff in the bed of the truck versus in the trailer trying to get some weight off that tongue? This is freaking actually so far back. We got crack in our hitch mount ripping down the road kevin's back at the wheel, just knocking down the miles as we pull into cincinnati. It's a beautiful night, we're actually racing in the morning tomorrow at edgewater, hopefully, uh track. Reps a little bit better cars running good we've got to make it there all righty we're at our checkpoint.

Profiler came here last year. Car is rocking dude, killing it fantastic yep doing awesome, so we're getting some drinks checking out some cylinder heads and hitting the road got another hour and then we're done then driving at least holy cow i'd buy a lot of garbage all right. Buddy successful day. We got our six got to the hotel with oil pressure and eight cylinders.

So that's a win. Big win. All right! We're gon na get some rest get some editing in and uh hit it hard. Tomorrow we are leading midwest driveweek right now we have a 200 mile, an hour average.

I think a seven three average, which is freaking amazing. Thanks for watching to fail. We will freaking, see you later bye.

So stoked for you brother!!!! Consistent 6’s are here, how crazy is that to say out loud LOL 😂. I’ve been watching for years and the progression of the skills is legendary in my book.

Is it me or does the right side of the exhaust look like it's gotten more heat than the left? Judging by the color of the titanium exhaust.

Gosh dang. Congratulations Cleetus and Crew. That undercarriage camera shot going down the track is so sick. Can't wait to see you go deeper into the 6's.

got to experience the 6 in person and I can say everyone was super hyped !! keep it up 🎉🎉

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tola Cole says:

I have ruined a set of 4 smart coils at 1 time. Spark plug wires were not hooked up on one side of the engine. Probably wasn't a couple minutes before they started pushing fluids out.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Franco Testa Soprano says:

I said 2 videos ago you have water leaking in front of the right rear tire deam and the car was pullin to the right at the line

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars King Rabbit101 says:

You make a checklist of things on ur notepad to go over before you hit start line. Check oil cap, check 2 step, fuel, things like that.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bret Hutchings says:

Can someone explain the valve lashing every morning? Is it just a maintenance to check the last before its run hard, or are they actually lashed different for racing?

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Twotall 1988 says:

I watched Tom Bailey's video, Kevin's video, and just now realized with your explanation that Mullet didn't cause the Little Red Truck to crash, it was the truck's own fluid that did it.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Damian Allicks says:

I think mullet Is capable of 5's now. Cant wait for you guys to atleast try

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Megapolis James says:

100% so happy that it was a plug!!! And not a engine failure. Cleetus keep those 6 sec passes coming for the bald eagle 🦅 fan club.

"See babe, I'm not the only one that puts those oversized Gatorade bottles in the cupholders upside down!"

It might be worth it to figure out a hypermile tune you could load up and then switch back to the 6 second moontune at the track, what with gas prices soaring thanks to runaway inflation, anyway its always a boost to my mood to watch y'all have jolly good fun 😛
