We should probably change all those up man, it's like. Maybe we should get a rear gear or we got to use the lock up. I think we're just spinning, oh you're, right 8800 to get through the trap. Yeah.

Oh wow yeah. Maybe we should see if we can get a rear gear in there sucks, though, because that's going to change the whole tune up, but hey it's better than a hurt engine yeah. We can't wring it out like that. Okay, i'll work on the rear gear.

You work on this and i'll also get some buckets for these rockers. Oh yeah see those little cracks right there yep and then look at it compared to this yeah so that one's tuliping a little bit we'll swap that one out that one's fine, that's this logo, here's your other one! So we need to back her down about a pound of boost and we'll be dialed. Well, the thing is is if it's not getting ragged out so hard in the rpm. If it's actually get it down, it'll be fine yeah i mean if it's in its good power band, it might even go faster with less boost, so yeah i'll have to change that rear gear, all right boys.

So here's the situation. We found a little nick right here. You can see that's where we lost our head, gasket and just to be safe, since we're going all the way to texas we're gon na. Take this head up to our boy at fast forward, race engines, he's gon na take just a little smidge off the deck clean that up, and then we should be 100 back good to go.

Now. We did find those little uh pressure cracks in these valves. As you guys know, these valves are not designed for what we're doing we're waiting on some titanium valves, but this is too much boost for these, but here's the deal we can't get any others. So we're going to put a couple spares that we have in joe is going to handle that for us at fast forward.

Then we get these back and we'll bolt them in. Luckily, the block is totally okay, so we got some fresh head gaskets coming. We get the heads reworked up and then we should be able to go to texas with a car. That's a hundred percent back to where it was when it went to 698.

So we just need to uh fix those two and then we're also going to have to just kind of race. The field i mean, let's go through qualifying, hit it to the eighth hard and then, when we get eliminations we'll race, the field yeah try not to go sixes. Unless we have to watch the guy next to you exactly there, you go so guys. These are the valves before we adjusted the valve seats, which clearly worked because this happened at 30.

Pounds of boost we made 45 yesterday and we barely did this to only two valves, so we're definitely on a better track and uh we're going to throw some fresh ones in it. While it's up and fast forward foreign all right guys, it's fishing time to get the toter home back out for the year got ta go fill it up with some water, real, quick top. It off got the trailer disconnected now we're getting our oil changed on the old onan, how many hours we got on this bad girl now 756 dude damn. I should probably clean her up a little bit too yeah dude the sucker goes hard, so changing the oil you're right all right guys, so one random thing on the list was that these wheels might just be a little bit too narrow.

You can see the tire kind of bends at the corner, because these are 10 inch wide. These are 12 inch wide wheels that we borrowed from dr tuna mall that appear as though they will fit and, like james runs a 12-inch wide wheel on his car because it gets that full contact patch. So just gets you the most out of your tire yeah. So like when you go 10 wide, you get this bulb in the sidewall yeah, so you get a lot of sidewall deflection where you see that waving happening.

When you take it off, when you stretch it, it pulls the sidewall tighter. You know it almost stretches. The tire and stiffens it up so when you take off you, take that distortion out of the sidewall and you get a wider contact back at this little bit that you're not using all right we've been robbing ourselves yeah hell yeah, those are gon na fit. Nice.

Look at that clean dude, all right guys. We got more goodies for mullet so because we went through the trap at 200 miles an hour. We were at 8, 800 rpms, so you guessed it moser got us overnighted a new gear. We've got, i believe, a 340 gear ratio ultra street gear in here right now, which is a little stronger than that one.

This one's only a pro street, but i think it'll hold up just fine to what we're throwing at it. So we're going to get this in there. The 325 should bring our rpms down a little bit and hopefully put a little less stress on the motor. Also i came in and we got some new rims now.

These are 12 inch wide instead of 10 inch and boy. Look at that stretch should help our contact patch a little bit. Hmm this, the guy. I want to see you guys, i'm still in their heads brother package has been delivered.

Yes, all right guys, georgie picked up the heads from fast forward. Where are they at, though i guess i'm going to start putting the o-rings? I love the scrubber, so we're gon na uh yeah. Here's the deal, scotch-brite action, good situation, guys we could not find head gaskets in time. So we are reusing the old ones that are good. They uh they checked over these ones.

They're good they're, slightly used we're not gon na worry about that. Okay, you know things happen out here. They have been 200 miles an hour yeah, so guys. Here's the deal turns out fast forward race engines does not think that we torque down the heads enough.

Well, we don't know that for sure we don't know if we're not, but we're going to torque the hell out of them this time zach. What are we going up to we're? Like 110 foot pounds they're at 110 we got half inch head studs, so we're gon na spice it up a little bit for 125.. I went ahead and calibrated my torque wrench yesterday, just to make sure it was good set. It at 110 and it calibrated out to 111, so that's dead on, so we're just going to bump it up to 125 and see if that'll hold.

I think i think so ty what the heck you got going on over here working late. I finally got a lathe dude all right, guys, we'll open this in another video yeah. The third member changed it out. Oh yeah, now this new one's not a pro gear, it's a 325 we'll bring an old trusty 340 gear with us.

All it needs is a little those two fuel lines. Oh yeah, that's what i'm talking about. Yeah i'll drive it over the freedom factory get a good heat cycle on it and then i'll put it in the trailer and we'll re-torque the head and check it.
